Marc-André Bombeck 73b82f444e test: use render thunks in the read-error family suites for the jsx-key rule 2026-08-09 04:37:03 +02:00
Marc-André Bombeck ba42354733 fix(admin): replace hand-rolled read-error boxes with the shared primitive
Eight admin surfaces rendered a failed read as their own destructive-
tinted box, and most offered no way to recover. Sweep them onto the shared
QueryErrorRow with retry so the console uses one error form (§13). The
statically renderable sections were watched fail first against the
hand-rolled boxes.

Marc-André Bombeck 6926caa11d feat(vaccinations): carry the immunization log through export and restore
- a new backup section reads the dose and its document link through
their own delegates and writes both ends in one file, the arrangement
  the visit section already uses
- the practitioner and the visit remap to the rows the same restore put
back; the booster reminder never travels, so its reference resolves to
null and the drop is reported rather than swallowed
- the antigen slug restores verbatim: a slug the catalogue has since
dropped still says what a person was given
- the round trip seeds a dose with every optional column filled and
reads each one back, so a returning row count cannot stand in for a
  returning record

Marc-André Bombeck 339e815527 Keep an appointment reminder inside the visit that owns it
Review of the visit work found the appointment arm leaking in both
directions: rows the visit routes could strand, and a reminder surface
that would act on one as though it were a checkup.

An edit could orphan a live reminder. Pointing a still-booked visit at
the checkup it closed walked the foreign key off the visit's own
reminder, and the next reschedule then minted a second one, because the
re-anchor path asked the key what the visit owned instead of asking the
engine. An orphan fires: the cron reads the reminder table, not the
visit list, so it pushed for an appointment nobody could see, edit or
cancel, and deleting the visit did not reach it. The edit arm now
refuses the contradiction the create arm already refused, ownership is
resolved through the relation, deletion retires the row it owns rather
than the row it points at, and a sweep at the end of every visit write
retires anything left armed that no visit claims -- so the state is
unreachable rather than merely unlikely.

The by-id reminder routes never excluded appointments, and that was the
larger hole. Marking one done committed the satisfy and THEN failed on
the mapper, so every appointment push a person acknowledged answered 500
after the write had landed. An edit could give a spent one-shot a
cadence and turn it into a permanent nudge that appears in no list, or
switch a cancelled one back on. The delete is a hard delete, so somebody
holding only the measurements domain could destroy a row belonging to a
visit in the health background. All five refuse in the lookup now -- an
appointment is not addressable there at all -- and the chat buttons that
mark a reminder done or postpone it refuse it the same way. Nor is an
appointment satisfied by a lab result: the auto-satisfy matcher used to
resolve any free-text reminder from any panel, which would have marked
next month's cardiology appointment attended.

A visit is a seam between four domains, and names were crossing it. The
values never did, but the title of a discharge letter is itself the
sensitive part, and a grant that opened only the health background was
never consent for it. Link labels and dates now follow the target's own
domain; the link is still listed, so a delegate learns the visit
produced a lab result without learning which analyte. Closing a checkup
follows the same rule: it re-anchors a preventive-care cadence, which is
a measurements write, so a health-background delegate files the visit
and the closure is reported as skipped rather than performed in silence.

Three smaller repairs. A checkup now closes at the visit's own instant
rather than at the moment it was typed in, which anchors a backdated
entry correctly and makes correcting a mis-filed visit the no-op it
should always have been. A window ending before today no longer widens
back out to today. And the fallback in a push notification was the raw
enum constant, so a lock screen could read a schema value; it reads the
record owner's own language now, in all six.

Marc-André Bombeck 24425e9aff Add the visit record and the carriers that keep it
A person's whole 'which doctor' history was one free-text column on a
reminder: they typed the practice name once and could reach nothing else
that happened there. This turns that string into a record.

Five tables in migration 0320, all additive: an encounter that happened
or is booked, the account's own address book of practitioners, and three
links from a visit to the documents, lab results and conditions it
produced. The encounter is slim on purpose — the diagnosis stays on the
linked condition, the address on the linked practitioner, and the reason
each field was kept or cut is written at the model. No module gate, and
the schema says why rather than leaving the absence to be read as an
oversight.

Every carrier lands with the tables rather than after them. All five are
classified as travelling both ways and are proven doing it: a seeded row
of each goes out through the real export builder, the account is deleted
so the schema's cascade decides what survives, and the rows are counted
back through the real restore route. Two references deliberately do not
survive and are named instead of dropped quietly — the reminder a visit
points at is not in the backup, and a link whose far side a portable
export does not carry cannot resolve. The wipe plan deletes the links
before the lab results and documents they hang off, or the audit row
would report zero for rows that existed. The three encrypted columns are
registered for key rotation, without which dropping a legacy key would
make those notes permanently unreadable.

Widening the reminder origin enum is a type error at the reminder DTO,
which is the right outcome: the mapper now refuses an appointment row
outright rather than relabelling it as a checkup.

Marc-André Bombeck ef35fe681d fix(admin): wipe every account's data, not nine tables
The admin "Delete all data" action carried its delete list inline. That
list named nine tables, which was most of the schema on the day it was
written, and it stayed at nine while the schema grew to a hundred and
twenty-two models. Laboratory results, documents, cycle logs, journals,
mood, workouts, sleep and Coach conversations all survived the wipe an
operator runs before handing a box on, and the toast said it was done.

The per-account wipe had the same defect and grew a derived plan for it.
The admin route now reads that plan: ADMIN_WIPE_MODELS is WIPE_MODELS
minus a single documented subtraction, so a model added to the schema
lands in both wipes at once.

- AccountGrant is the one difference, with its reason in the plan: it is
the only access path to a managed profile, and this action preserves
accounts by definition. Deleting every grant would leave records
nobody can open, administer or delete.
- The audit history now goes with everything else. It is a record of who
did what from where, which is exactly what clearing a box is for; the
receipt written after the transaction commits replaces it.
- One transaction with the same budget as the account wipe. A
half-applied wipe is worse than none, because the person is told it
  succeeded either way.
- The result line reports rows and tables instead of nine fixed names,
which is how nobody noticed: it read the same whether the wipe had
  cleared nine tables or ninety.

Guards, both watched red before landing:
admin-data-wipe-completeness.test.ts fails when a user-scoped model
reaches neither the wipe nor a written exemption, and when the route
names a table inline again. The integration guard seeds every table in
the schema for two accounts, runs the route, and asks the database what
is left — drop one model from the plan and it names the surviving table.

Marc-André Bombeck 272c426bea fix(ui): close the holes the audit found in this work's own guards
Every item here is a check that could pass while the thing it checks is
broken, or a margin the sweep's codemod could not reach.

Guards:

- The access-payload matcher accepted `.level` on ANY object. A chart's zoom
level or a log record's level would have satisfied it and reported a
consumer that does not exist. It now names the bindings the entry actually
arrives under; a third binding is a deliberate edit rather than a silent
widening. Re-falsified: rename both readers, it goes red.
- The `pl-7` sweep skipped any line CONTAINING `//`, so a class string sharing
a line with a URL was waved through. Only the part after a real line-comment
marker is exempt now. Proven by putting `pl-7` on a line with an
  `https://` comment: caught.
- `LEGIT_IDENTICAL` in the English-leak guard had no staleness check, unlike
both of its siblings, and carried two dead keys — one from a removal long
before this work, one from the duplicated version fields that came off
`/admin`. Both pruned, the check added, falsified with a made-up key.
- `split-description.mjs` split inside `z. B.`, `d. h.`, `u. a.` and `p. ex.`
and produced a head ending mid-abbreviation. Both halves have to be caught,
which is why the rule is a shape (single letter + stop) rather than a list,
and the merge re-tests its own tail. Exercised against eight cases including
the ones that used to break.

Margins the codemod could not see, because the child lives in a different
component from the card that spaces it: six form roots under managed record
settings (one of which also carried the banned `space-y-5` step), the
low-stock status line, the avatar card's explainer, and the backups restore
report. Each was adding a margin on top of the card's own gap.

Two facts the text diet cut too close, both restored inside the guideline:
that an excluded injection site wins over a medication that prefers it, and
that the privacy card's second button leads to a full health record.

Marc-André Bombeck 18edd34c33 fix(backup): restore the mood note, zone, counter and binary tags
`moodEntrySchema` gains `note`, `noteEncrypted`, `tz`, `syncedAt`,
`syncVersion`, `createdAt`, `updatedAt` and `structuredTags`; every one of
them optional or defaulted, so a backup file written before this parses
unchanged and restores exactly as it did.

The restore writes them. The note follows the measurement pair: ciphertext
verbatim when the file carries it, a portable file's plaintext re-encrypted
on the way in, legacy column null either way. `tz` absent still means the
legacy Europe/Berlin reading, which is what those rows meant. `syncVersion`
comes back at the value the file recorded — restoring at the default handed
the next round to any paired device holding a higher number, and the device
would then overwrite the recovered entry with what it had.

The link rebuild re-creates both arms: rated factors from `factors`, ticked
tags from `structuredTags` with a NULL rating. An unresolvable tag key is
reported under its own `moodTag` family, beside the rated one, because an
operator needs to know which of the two an entry lost.

Marc-André Bombeck ba0cd63cf5 refactor(i18n): a description is one sentence, in all six languages
Measured before the sweep: 317 description and hint strings under the
`settings` and `admin` namespaces, median 83 characters, 113 of them two
sentences or more. The rule the design standards now carry is one sentence,
guideline 120 characters, and this is the sweep that makes it true.

Almost nothing was retranslated. A second sentence is already written in
every language — it is just in the wrong slot. `scripts/split-description.mjs`
cuts a description at its first sentence boundary in all six bundles at once
and either drops the tail or files it under its own key; the twenty-one keys
that moved now render in the card body as foreground `text-sm`, which is
where multi-sentence prose belongs and where a reader can actually read it
(the slot is muted `text-xs`). Eight tails were dropped outright, because
"Off by default" under a switch, "Topics and frequency are adjustable" above
the topic switches, and "Only admins can create invitations" on an
admin-gated route are not information.

Twenty-eight keys are gone: the privacy page's intro, which was a table of
contents for the four cards under it; two About descriptions that listed
verbatim the labels and the buttons beneath them; a card description that
repeated its own title; the API-token sentence that said what the paragraph
below it said with the actual instruction; and the eight integration
secondary sentences. Six descriptions were rewritten shorter in all six
languages where trimming was honest rather than lossy.

On the strings that changed: 4391 characters of English down to 2290, and 32
multi-sentence descriptions down to zero.

The rule is now a gate. `card-description-length.test.ts` reads the keys that
actually reach a card header's description slot — statically, from the JSX —
and checks them in EN and DE, because a rule that only holds in English
produces a slot that wraps to two lines in half the locales. Its exception
list is empty and carries a reason requirement plus a test that removes a
stale entry. Verified by putting a second sentence back: it fails.

Marc-André Bombeck 330f60115a refactor(admin): the console speaks the Settings vocabulary without an accent
Twenty-six of twenty-eight admin files already used the Settings card and
header. What made the console read as its own system was everything on top of
that: three hand-rolled cards, a header slot that meant five different things,
and a heading the frame took but never painted.

- `SectionFrame` drops `title` and `subtitle`. Seventeen call sites passed
both into a component that has rendered neither since v1.18.6.1 — the shell
reads the same keys itself. A prop contract nothing honours is a promise the
  next reader believes.
- The invite card, the four host-metric headers, and the `/admin` welcome
card stop hand-rolling `bg-card border rounded-xl` shells with their own
padding steps and their own heading weights. `text-sm` as a card title on
the first card of a page, directly above a correct one, was the first thing
  the eye landed on.
- The header status slot carries status. The backups run, the invite create,
the danger-zone wipe, and the user filters come out of it; the app-log
refresh stays but reads as the secondary it is.
- Loading states paint their card and header. Encryption returned a bare
spinner row and then a card, so the section jumped when the status landed —
the fix `coach-feedback-section.tsx` already carried, applied where it was
missing. Same for the notification-status card.
- One label/value tile. `StatusItem`, the encryption section's private `Stat`,
the user-management inline panels and the backups upload box were four
fills and three paddings for one role.
- The overview stopped printing the running version, build SHA and build time
twice, thirty pixels apart. The version tile owns build identity — it is the
one that checks for a newer release; the snapshot owns what is running.
- `ai-server-key` had three paragraphs stacked in a muted `text-xs` slot;
one sentence stays there and the two that carry information move into the
body as foreground. The central-codex consent copy moves the same way, and
its disconnect is `variant="destructive"` — which `ConfirmButton` refused to
accept, so every destructive confirm in the tree had been hand-tinting an
  outline instead.
- Leftovers: the `-mt-2` correcting the card's own rhythm, two alpha hovers on
text, `text-[10px]` badges, the redundant `space-y-6` wrapper, the empty
state repeating the header's CTA, and the `mt-6` a card added inside a
frame that already spaces its children.

Marc-André Bombeck b2e1aa0cde refactor(settings): one header, one action row, one integration card
The sweep that follows from the primitives. Nothing here is new behaviour;
every change removes a second way of saying something the surface already
said one way somewhere else.

Headers. The two collapsible security cards stop rebuilding
`SettingsCardHeader` by hand to carry a chevron — the chevron rides inside
the title button, and the description moves out of the collapsed region, so
the first paint is no longer a bare title. The import card shell, the export
and import section headings, and the four free-standing group headers stop
inventing their own type scale: a heading above a GROUP of cards is
`SectionHeading` (`text-base`), a card title is `SettingsCardHeader`
(`text-lg`), and the step between them is what says which is which. The
targets card gets a title instead of a naked icon.

Actions. Every card-level row is `SettingsCardActions`. The primary action
comes out of the header's status slot in six cards (password, web push,
pillar order, coach memory, and the two danger-zone triggers) and out of the
middle of the card in three more; the reset that hung in the dashboard-layout
header joins save as a secondary in the same row. Result and status lines
move ABOVE the row — sources' cross-link, the invite form's two status lines
— because nothing follows a card's actions. Revoking a share link is
`variant="destructive"` rather than an `outline` hand-tinted red in two
different ways. The import row had four variants for four buttons; it has
two. Export downloads are the card's primary, not an outline link.

Integrations. One description sentence with the setup-guide link inline: the
second paragraph was byte-identical across six of eight cards, which is the
tell that it said nothing about the provider it sat under. The `<hr>` under
the header — which existed only in this folder — is gone. So is the hint that
pointed at a guide 40 px above it, and the second format for "not
configured". Connect is one button everywhere: primary, `sm`, in the action
row, instead of primary-and-small in three cards and outline-and-large in
four.

Plus the standards leftovers the audit listed: two `pl-5` list gutters, one
`scroll-mt-20` anchor, a purple header icon, `text-[10px]` badges, four
hand-rolled callout shells that `SettingsInfoTile` already paints, and the
two inline buttons that never had the mobile tap floor at all.

Marc-André Bombeck 5445bfc1f1 refactor(ui): give Settings and Admin one card rhythm and one page header
The two consoles used the same primitives and still read as two systems,
because everything without a primitive had drifted: the header-to-body
step existed in three competing techniques at once (`mt-4` on the first
body child, `space-y-4` on the card, `mb-4` on the header), the body
started either at the card edge or 28 px in, and both shells hand-rolled
the page title instead of calling `PageHeader`.

Move the decisions into the primitives so a call site cannot re-open them:

- `SettingsCard` is gap-based like `Card` (`flex flex-col gap-4`). The
header-to-body step is the container's, not a margin somebody remembers.
A dense card still overrides the gap on the card itself.
- The body starts at the card edge. `pl-7` is gone — off the spacing scale,
and it mis-aligned action rows against their own forms wherever two
  neighbouring cards disagreed about it.
- The card header's description slot loses its `space-y-1`. That was the
licence call sites used to stack explainer paragraphs into a muted
`text-xs` slot; the slot holds one sentence.
- New `SettingsCardActions`: one action row, trailing edge, last thing in
the card. `align="start"` spells the one exception, a card whose only
  actions are links out.
- New `StatTile` replaces four hand-rolled label/value boxes in Admin.
- `SectionHeading` moves from `insights/` to `ui/`. It is the heading above
a group of cards, which is what Settings needs; Settings had been using a
card header with no card, which reads as a card that failed to paint.

Both shells now render their heading through `PageHeader`, which gained
`headingAs="div"` for the second copy each shell paints (mobile above the
nav strip, desktop inside the grid) so only one is a real `<h1>`. The
page explainer is muted everywhere: the primitive said foreground, the
standards and every hand-rolled copy said muted, so pages disagreed with
each other. Medications, Vorsorge, the labs / custom-metric / illness
detail pages and the clinician view drop their hand-rolled title blocks
too, including the mid-word truncation on the medications subtitle.

Tests pin the parts that can be checked exactly: the card's gap, the
description slot's missing rhythm, the action row's two alignments, the
`<h1>`-free shells, and a sweep asserting `pl-7` stays gone.

Marc-André Bombeck 75644bc3d2 Carry recorded side effects through the backup and back
MedicationSideEffect was classified as backed up and was not carried: the
export wrote nothing and the restore had nothing to read, so a restored
account kept the drug and lost the reason someone may have stopped taking it.
Delegated write access sharpens that — a side effect is one of the things a
second person can contribute, and it was the contribution a restore dropped.

The rows ride inside their medication, like the schedules beside them. A
top-level array would have to carry `medicationId` and survive a restore that
mints a fresh id for a portable file, which is the remap the intake events
already work around by drug name; a nested create has no id to remap, because
Prisma binds the child to whatever id the parent row actually got.

The note follows the measurement contract for the same dual-column
arrangement: a portable export carries the decrypted note and no ciphertext, a
disaster-recovery payload carries the ciphertext verbatim, and the restore
re-encrypts a legacy plaintext row rather than writing plaintext back into the
column.

Move the model from COVERAGE_PENDING to TWO_ENDED_MODELS, and settle the claim
where a written verdict cannot: the round trip seeds a side effect, exports
through the real builder, empties the account and reads the row back out of
the real restore route with its category, entry, severity and note intact.
Both halves were excised to check the test can fail — the restore branch turns
the count red, the payload turns the field values red.
2026-08-03 21:15:45 +02:00
Marc-André Bombeck 47e50ece39 Wait for content the page owns before scanning it
Several accessibility scans ran against a page that had not finished
arriving, so axe reported violations the app does not have. The worst of
them was the medications case, which waited for a level-one heading and
then checked that a level-one heading exists. A page that really lost its
heading would have waited out the timeout under a misleading name instead
of failing the rule, which makes it a check that cannot fail rather than a
flaky one.

The filter rail was the other bad sentinel. It renders beside the loading
silhouettes rather than after them, so it was on screen while the rows were
still grey rectangles. Under an 8x CPU throttle the rail and the loading
marker resolved in the same 40ms poll and the rows a poll later.

Every case now gates on a marker the real component carries in its
resolved, non-empty branch, and on a component other than the one the scan
asserts. Both the desktop table and the mobile card list carry the same
marker so the wait holds at any viewport. No sentinel names a heading, the
app frame, a busy marker or the filter rail any more.

Marc-André Bombeck 63075c47d4 test(backup): prove the skip report reaches the screen, not just the wire
The server names every unresolved catalogue key in its response and in the
audit row, and the integration suite holds that end. This is the other one:
a report nobody sees is the same silence the naming replaced.

The panel moves into its own exported component so it can be rendered
against a report directly. The SSR smoke tests in this directory cannot
drive a state transition, and a render proven only by reading it is not
proven. Pinned: every key is printed rather than summed away, each key
carries its own count and catalogue, an empty report renders nothing at
all, and the copy resolves in a second locale.
2026-08-02 09:10:58 +02:00
Marc-André Bombeck 9c4235b66d fix(backup): a retired catalogue key must not cost the whole file
Three of the restore's lookups resolve a key against a seeded catalogue:
cycle symptoms, illness symptoms, mood factors. Each threw on a key it
could not resolve, inside the one transaction that wipes and rebuilds the
account. So a single renamed symptom rolled everything back and answered
500. No measurements, no doses, no notes, nothing. A year-old backup read
by a newer instance is the ordinary case for a backup, and the catalogue
drifts between those two dates by design.

The unresolvable link is dropped and named now. What it costs is one
association between a row and a symptom; the day-log, the mood entry, the
flow, the temperature and the encrypted note all come back. The count and
the exact keys ride the response, the audit row and the wide event, and
the admin surface shows them in a panel that stays put instead of a toast
that leaves. A quiet drop would be the older failure of this same seam
wearing a success message.

A dangling `cycleId` or a dose recorded against a medication the file
never carried still throws. Those name rows the file was supposed to hold,
so a missing one means the file contradicts itself. A catalogue key names
a row the instance owns, which is why it gets the other answer.

`IllnessSymptom` carries no owner column at all, so a key that will not
resolve there can only ever be drift; the file was never able to supply it.

The restore does not mint the missing catalogue row back. That would
preserve the link at the price of reference data colliding with whatever
the next migration seeds under that key, and a label nothing can translate.

Marc-André Bombeck 80c8674ee1 Remove the Health-Score explainer switch, which switched nothing
The admin panel offered a toggle for the Health-Score explainer and
described it as the ? next to the delta line. That ? had already been
taken off the insights surface a release earlier, and the caption that
replaced it went away entirely when the health score was replaced by
the reference composite. Since then an operator could turn the switch
off, get a saved confirmation, and change absolutely nothing.

The toggle, its wording in all six languages, its place in the flag
matrix the app and the iOS client both read, and its column on
app_settings are all gone. Nothing is left to promise a control that
does not exist.

A guard goes in with it: every remaining assistant sub-flag has to be
read by some surface, and the panel and the plumbing that carry all of
them by construction do not count as proof.

Marc-André Bombeck 51dbfefbcb fix(backup): carry the intraday day shape through export and restore
`IntradayCumulativeProfile` shipped classified as backed up and carried by
nothing. The drain folds the per-sample rows into twenty-four running totals
and deletes the originals in the same transaction, so past the grace window
the table is the only copy of a day's curve: a restore rebuilt the account
without it, reported success, and left the same-time baseline reading "still
learning" for a fortnight.

Builder and restore sit together in one file, the way the profile and cycle
pairs do, because the restore route delegates and a grep of the route alone
lies. The section spreads into the payload rather than being copied key by
key. Two curves for the same metric and day, or a curve that is not a whole
day, throw naming the day instead of writing a row every reader drops.

The pair is proven end to end rather than at each end: the round-trip suite
builds a real payload from a populated account, serialises it, parses it back
through the real parser, drives the real restore, and asserts on the rows
written. Remove the read and it goes red.

Marc-André Bombeck 8e9da490a9 test(tz): refuse a date formatter that does not name its calendar
A formatter with no timeZone follows the browser, which is a different
question from the one this app answers. Four surfaces had drifted apart that
way before anyone noticed, and one of them printed a shared report a day off
from the page it came from.

The admin host chart went with them rather than onto the allowlist. Server
samples are real instants, and an operator reading their own instance should
not find a spike at 14:20 here and 15:20 two screens away.

Two deliberate limits, both written into the test. It does not match
toLocaleString, which in this tree is overwhelmingly a number formatter, and
burying four real hits under every thousands separator is how a guard gets
silenced. And it cannot tell a Date built from calendar arithmetic — a month
label, a weekday header, no instant behind it — from one parsed out of stored
data, so those four sites carry a written reason instead. The value is the
ratchet: a new bare formatter has to be argued for before it ships.

Marc-André Bombeck 48ac8f7e2d fix(ui): a mis-tap must not be able to destroy an allergy list
Settings → AI "About me" had one Clear control wired to
`save.mutate({ aboutMe: "", allergies: "" })`. One tap, no dialog, and
the allergy line went with the note — while the toast it raised said
"About-me note cleared", which is what the control looks like it does.
The allergy line is the first thing a clinician reads and the column is
overwritten in place, so there is nothing to restore afterwards.

Scope the control rather than only gating it: it now writes `aboutMe`
alone and omits `allergies`, which the PUT leaves untouched by contract,
so the payload cannot carry the allergy line away even if the dialog is
ever dropped. Clearing allergies stays possible in the allergies field
itself, which is a deliberate act on the thing being emptied. The
confirmation on top guards the note.

The same one-tap shape ran through thirteen other controls that
overwrite a column or drop a credential with nothing to restore from.
They route through the shared confirmation now: both Codex disconnects
(personal and the instance-wide shared account), the AI server key, the
profile photo, the threshold reset — all, per metric, and the override
switch, whose off position performed the same irreversible delete from a
control that reads as a display toggle — the source-priority order, the
dashboard layout, the Insights overview, a single target range, a
remembered Coach fact, a past Coach plan, a logged cycle day and a custom
cycle symptom.

`ConfirmButton` moves to `components/ui`, since it is no longer a
settings-local helper, and gains `ConfirmDialog`: the same dialog without
a trigger, for destructive controls that are not buttons. A switch has to
stay on when the dialog its off position raised is cancelled, and a
control that could not reach for the primitive reached for nothing —
which is a fair part of why those were the ones that shipped unguarded.

Copy lands in all six locales.

Marc-André Bombeck f0c5b5ae94 fix(medications): identify an imported dose by when it was taken
The intake import built its replay key from the row's optional `zaehler`
field. That reads as a per-row counter — the documented example showed one —
but nothing required it to be unique and nothing checked. A reported export
carried the dose quantity there instead: 1 tablet, on all 28 rows. Every entry
queued under the same key, one dose reached the ledger, and the other 27 came
back reported as duplicates of a dose they had nothing to do with.

The key is the instant now, and `zaehler` is out of the contract rather than
accepted-and-ignored. Nothing is lost by dropping it: the live-row unique on
`(user_id, medication_id, scheduled_for, source)` already makes an imported
dose unique per instant, so a re-import of a file first imported under the old
key still dedups.

The telling is the other half. Two different facts were counted as one number:
entries of a submission that collide with each other, and doses the ledger
already holds. They are separate reasons now, grouped with a count, and the
dialog renders them through the same classifier and the same outcome line as
the CSV and JSON import cards — so an import that wrote nothing can no longer
answer in success tone. That rule shipped for the settings import panel and
this surface was not part of it; the guard now lists every import surface by
path, so a fourth one has to be added deliberately. `skippedInvalid` is gone:
it was hardcoded to zero on every path and reported a capability the importer
never had.

Alongside it, the other half of the environment report — a scheduled job that
fails every run has to say so. `recordError()` increments one unnamed counter,
so the admin status page could show a number and not which queue produced it,
and the module's own screen showed a zero day count with nothing to
distinguish "nothing stored yet" from "every run failed". pg-boss has held the
answer the whole time: a job that exhausts its retries keeps its queue name,
its error and its timestamp. The admin status now names the failing queues
with counts and the last error, the environment overview reports its own
account's failed runs, and neither needed a change at any of the thirty
`recordError()` call sites — a visibility fix that has to be remembered per
call site is the same failure one level up.

Marc-André Bombeck d0b45e36b3 feat(integrations): remove the moodLog integration
Mood has been a first-class module here for a long time, with entries,
structured tags, rated factors and notes. The bridge to the external moodLog
service had nothing left to add, and its Settings card was withdrawn in
a56e6fe61 on the promise of a dedicated removal. This delivers it.

Removed: the hourly `moodlog-sync` queue, cron and handler binding; the
inbound webhook and its shared-secret handling; the reverse push and its four
call sites; the pull-sync module; the per-user credential routes and the
instance-wide toggle; the entry on the `/api/integrations/status` envelope,
the `IntegrationKey` union, the cadence map and the display-name table; the
boot-time secret rotation pass; 22 message keys per locale.

Migration 0271 drops the five `users` credential columns and
`app_settings.mood_log_global`, clears the ledger row for the provider, and
deletes the retired pg-boss schedule so no cron keeps enqueuing work no
handler drains.

Mood data is untouched. `mood_entries` is not named anywhere in the migration
and cannot be reached from it: the dropped columns carry no index, constraint
or foreign key, and `mood_entries.user_id` references `users(id)`, not any of
them. Rows the bridge imported keep `source = 'MOODLOG'`, and every read path
- list filter, source badge, exports, backups - still resolves that value.

`src/lib/validations/moodlog.ts` held the native mood-entry schemas alongside
the bridge's own; it is now `validations/mood.ts` and carries only the former.

Marc-André Bombeck e1c6941b20 fix(ui): lift muted meta text off the sub-xs floor
Bump text-[10px]/text-[11px] to text-xs on muted description, hint, and
status-label surfaces that had drifted below the type-scale floor —
coach conversation captions, settings/admin status badges, mood
confidence pills, side-effect and cycle meta lines. Tabular-nums
badges, chart-plot legend/axis chrome, ring geometry, and
width-constrained tag tiles keep their compact size by design.

Marc-André Bombeck 3a45fcc3bd fix(ui): close remaining consistency-audit findings
Sweeps the banned gap-5/space-y-5/pl-5 spacing residue the audit found
scattered across coach pages, settings coach cards, the labs/records/
custom-metrics form family, onboarding, and a handful of one-off
surfaces (glucose panel, clinician view, illness correlation card,
invite-tokens, the mental-health check-in wizard including its stray
sm:p-6 shell steps) down onto the 4/6 scale.

Two medication chart colours (dose-strength-curve, drug-level-chart)
painted raw --dracula-purple with no light-theme override; both now
read --chart-1, the same alias the mood-chart fix already established.

Raises ~40 sub-text-xs muted-prose sites below the UI-STANDARDS §3/§5
floor (settings API/MCP/sharing/coach-prefs cards, insights workout
detail, suggested prompts, tab-strip group popovers, sources rail,
metric-stat-strip, the health-score provisional pill) to text-xs,
leaving genuine tabular-nums Badges untouched — the one exemption the
standard carries.

Routes the 10 hand-rolled settings/insights "no data yet" paragraphs
(coach memory, coach reminders, security sessions/activity/keys, API
tokens, sharing, insights pill order, per-metric overrides, nutrient
intake) through the shared EmptyState primitive instead of a bare
muted <p>, so they read the same, centered, icon-ready shape every
other empty list in the app already uses. The notification-status
card's empty copy stays on SettingsCardHeader's description slot —
converting it would mean restructuring the card, not routing it.

Marc-André Bombeck 3dd5dbeb42 feat(export): make the full backup actually full
The full-backup export (plaintext + passphrase-encrypted, and the weekly
auto-backup) only ever covered measurements, medications, mood, and cycle
data. Labs, illness episodes, allergies, family history, and workouts were
silently missing, and the export UI implied "everything" was included.

Adds a shared records-backup section (src/lib/export/records-backup.ts) that
both the on-demand export routes and the weekly data-backup worker read from:
lab results + the biomarker catalog, illness episodes (including flares via
parentConditionId) with their day-logs, allergies, family history, and
workout summaries. Every read is owner-scoped and soft-delete-filtered;
encrypted free-text columns decrypt fail-soft so one bad row never aborts
the whole backup.

Document original files and workout GPS/per-sample time series stay
deliberately out of the JSON payload (size). The payload now carries an
explicit manifest disclosing exactly that, and the export UI states it in
plain text instead of implying completeness. These new domains are
export-only for now — admin restore still only recreates the original
measurements/medications/mood/cycle domains; the payload validates and
reports counts for the rest, but restoring a snapshot does not yet recreate
them.

Also fixes the admin backup-upload total to count every domain, not just
the original four.

Marc-André Bombeck 4c436d7dfc fix(a11y): keyboard-reachable admin log rows, range-bar marker, heatmap cells
Admin app-log rows opened their JSON detail dialog through a click-only
<tr> with no keyboard path; the Action cell now wraps a real <button>
that carries the same handler plus a descriptive aria-label, leaving
the row onClick as a pointer convenience.

The target range-bar's current-value marker showed value + band only
in a hover-only tooltip on a non-focusable div. It is now focusable
(tabIndex, role=img) with an aria-label that reuses the same value /
range / delta copy the tooltip already renders, so focus opens the
tooltip and a screen reader gets the text alternative either way.

Mood and medication-compliance heatmap day cells were pointer-only SVG
rects. Each cell is now focusable with its own per-day aria-label
(reusing the existing tooltip copy), and Escape dismisses any open
tooltip — pinned (touch) or focus-shown.

Marc-André Bombeck 1ff179178f fix(dates): show the year whenever a date is not the current one
Sweeps every surface that renders a date from before this year without
a year suffix — illness episodes/flares/day-logs, lab and custom-metric
charts, the mood chart family, medication titration/side-effects/dose-
history/next-dose captions (incl. the Dec→Jan rollover), cycle
predictions and history, the BBT chart, the intraday-pulse day-nav, the
date-range filter chip, and the nutrient/compliance charts. Each now
routes through dateShortSmart / dateWithWeekdaySmart (format-locale.ts)
or the matching date-format.ts helper, which add the year only when it
differs from the current one — mirroring the workout list's existing
model instead of a bare "19.02." that reads as this year's.

Also fixes two sites that bypassed the app's locale entirely: the
trusted-devices expiry (bare toLocaleDateString, host locale) and the
admin token-name timestamp (hard-coded de-DE + Europe/Berlin) now both
render through the user's own locale, hour-cycle, and timezone
preference.

Marc-André Bombeck cb883e1470 feat(dashboard): cohesion polish — hero score rings return, per-metric accents, quiet milestone moment
- Resurface the selected hero score rings on the Today hero: the Settings
picker's selection and drag order render again as a calm ring cluster
beneath the health ring, each ring in its wellness hue, flat-painted,
and linking to its existing detail surface (score anatomy pages,
medications). The health ring now opens the Insights overview like its
cluster siblings. Empty selection keeps the hero exactly as before.
- Per-metric identity accents on the daily rail via the existing --tile-*
hue vocabulary: a soft inset edge (stress for tension windows, strain
for ECG pointers, primary for dose and coach cards); the same mark ties
the ECG cross-link and the intraday pulse card shell to their rail
siblings. Utility items (sync, preventive care) stay accent-less.
- Quiet "reached" treatment for the milestone card: a soft success halo
over the theme card plus a one-shot spring reveal on --ring-spring,
with its reduced-motion fallback beside the keyframes.
- The Today hero carries the one sanctioned atmosphere wash (a faint
primary mix over the card in the wellness-tile pattern); the loading
skeleton shares it so the swap changes content, never the surface.
- Skeleton primitive upgraded from the whole-block pulse to a single soft
shimmer sweep, reduced-motion guarded in globals.css; dependent test
  assertions repointed.
- Ring link / dose-tally aria strings restored in all six locales.

Marc-André Bombeck d7e616eaa8 feat(ai): add operator-shared central Codex connection with per-user opt-in
Introduce an operator-level ChatGPT-subscription (Codex) credential that the
operator connects once and shares server-wide, plus a per-user switch to route
AI egress through it.

- Schema (migration 0235): three encrypted columns on AppSettings for the
operator's central Codex access/refresh tokens and the ChatGPT-Account-ID
  claim, plus expiry/connected-at/status; a per-user useCentralCodex flag
(default false). Register the new encrypted columns in the rotation registry
  and script.
- Resolution: add the admin-codex chain type; append it to a user's resolved
chain only when they opted in AND the operator connected it. Tokens refresh
server-side against the singleton row (CAS-style), same primitives as the
  per-user Codex path.
- Budget: bill an admin-codex primary against the operator cost cap, not the
user plan — it drains the operator's account.
- Consent: admin-codex is server-managed external egress, gated by the existing
consent machinery (self-snapshot and document surfaces alike). No existing
  consent path is weakened.
- Document order: rank admin-codex with the subscription tier (last), so the
  document class stays local-first.
- UI: admin device-code connect/disconnect card (cookie-only admin routes) with
  honest copy on account pooling, shared rate limits, and training-by-default;
a per-user opt-in switch shown only once the operator has connected it, off by
default, behind a one-time honesty confirm.
- i18n across all six locales; unit tests for the chain type, budget cap,
consent gate, vision capability, and document order; a mocked e2e for both
the admin connect surface and the per-user switch.

The central credential's tokens are encrypted at rest and never returned to a
non-admin API; the opt-in only takes effect once the operator has connected the
shared account.

Marc-André Bombeck df78b29cfd fix(shell): make AuthShell the single owner of scroll bottom-space
SettingsShell's content column carried pb-24 md:pb-0 that double-counted
the bottom-nav clearance AuthShell's <main> already reserves, stacking
~96 px of dead scroll below the last card on mobile. AdminShell still
carried the pre-#154 min-h-[calc(100dvh-12rem)] column reserve on <main>,
over-reserving on short sections at every breakpoint.

Delete the redundant SettingsShell gutter, move AdminShell's floor off
<main> onto its grid, and factor the budget-derived grid floor into one
shared SUB_SHELL_GRID_FLOOR constant so the two shells can never drift.
Extend the guard to /admin/* and measure against each element's
content-box bottom so a redundant sub-shell pb-* now fails instead of
inflating the allowed budget.

Marc-André Bombeck 930fa81124 fix(a11y): switch names, contrast floors, and chart-toggle pressed state
- Admin SettingsToggle: name the Radix switch via aria-label so it no longer
announces as a bare 'switch, on/off' (one shared component, six call sites).
- Replace the phantom text-destructive-foreground / text-warning-foreground
utilities with the vetted destructive pattern (bg-destructive text-white
dark:bg-destructive/60) and a readable foreground on the warning wash — no
more dead classes riding on cascade order.
- Drop the sub-AA opacity tiers: lab sparkline + titration marker off
muted/70, state icons (query-error, chart empty/error, med sort) off
muted/60 to the full token so they clear the light-theme floor.
- Chart range toggles expose aria-pressed (lab, custom-metric, health, mood,
compliance) so the active window is conveyed to assistive tech.

Marc-André Bombeck 0d37061d43 feat(admin): document-vault limit fields on the admin surfaces
The two vault knobs become editable where operators already work: the
app-settings card gains the per-file upload cap (MB, 1-100, mirrors the
hard server ceiling) and the default per-account storage quota (GB,
commit-on-blur with clamped conversion to bytes); the user edit form
gains the per-user quota override (GB, empty = instance default). The
admin users list now carries the override so the form can show it.

Marc-André Bombeck e260b2d5c4 perf(charts): one shared async boundary for the whole recharts surface
Every next/dynamic chart import used to point at its own module, so
Turbopack emitted a separate chunk group per boundary — the production
build carried EIGHT ~312 KB copies of the recharts module graph, and
/insights (the worst-LCP route) downloaded two of them (~92 KB gz of
pure duplication, one fully unused at load).

All chart loaders now resolve the single chart-runtime barrel
(src/components/charts/chart-runtime.ts), which owns the only path to
recharts: one shared chunk group, recharts exists exactly once in the
build (verified: 8 -> 1 recharts-fingerprinted chunks), cached across
routes. Charts stay recharts and stay pixel-identical; every call site
keeps its own matching skeleton and ssr:false flag.

Riders of the same rule:
- the mood-trio barrel (mood-charts.ts, the v1.16.7 precedent this
generalises) folds into the runtime and is removed
- the vitals sparkline body extracts to delta-sparkline.tsx and loads
through the runtime; the tile keeps the fixed 40 px band, so the
async gap is an identically-sized empty box
- /cycle's BBT chart (the last static recharts import on a live route)
defers through the runtime with a card-matching skeleton

Marc-André Bombeck f0b16c1a39 fix(charts): light-theme chart text uses semantic tokens
Recharts tick/label/tooltip colours in the scatter-correlation chart,
the three mood charts, and the admin host-metrics chart referenced the
raw Dracula primitives (--dracula-fg / --dracula-comment), which the
light theme never overrides — near-white text on a near-white card
(~1.0:1) and an AA-failing comment gray (~2.5:1). Swap all 23 sites to
--foreground / --muted-foreground. Dark theme is pixel-identical: the
semantic tokens alias the same Dracula values there (#f8f8f2 /
#9aa3b3); light resolves to the AA-checked soft-neutral values.
