The fasting-glucose pillar served its observed and reference labels as
"Fasting median 99 mg/dL" and "70-99 mg/dL fasting" whatever the
account's unit, and clients print those labels as they come. They are
now written in the record's glucose unit. The scored value, its unit
and the band edges stay canonical, so the score does not move and the
web, which converts from the value, cannot convert twice. The schema
now says which fields are canonical and which are display text.
Refs #1067
Tile eligibility filtered the four named contexts against the per-context
summaries and asked whether any of them held readings. An account whose
source records no meal time matched none of them, so the tile was omitted
with the module on, the layout toggle on, and a reading from today. Nothing
warned; the strip was simply short one card.
Move the gate out of the page into `resolveGlucoseTiles`, which walks the
shared bucket list — untagged included — and hand the caller the label key
with the summary. Both summary producers group through the shared resolver,
so `UNSPECIFIED` reaches the wire with its own count, latest value and
trend, and a tagged account still gets its per-context breakdown.
Refs #943
Five points from the review, in the order they were raised.
1. The RMSSD marker did not survive. The tile label paints truncated,
uppercase and on one line, so an appended `· RMSSD` was the first thing
dropped in the longer locales — the part a reader needs to tell a 40 ms
RMSSD night from a collapsed SDNN one. `measurements.typeHrvRmssd` already
exists in all seven bundles, so each series now carries its own key.
`pickHrvSummary` returns that key beside the series it chose, which keeps
one mapping from series to label rather than a conditional at the call site.
2. The module gate bit on one path only. `gateSummariesByModules` was
private to the snapshot builder, and with the snapshot flag off the tiles
are fed by `/api/analytics`, which filtered nothing — so recovery-off plus
RMSSD-only still painted the tile, on the exact path the helper's docblock
promised it could not. The filter moves next to the map it reads, and both
analytics slices apply it. Gated after the cache read, so the cached cell
stays module-independent and toggling a module takes effect on the next
request instead of waiting out the TTL.
3. The same class one step on: recovery off plus RMSSD only left a switch
that was on, a tile that could never paint, and no explanation. The repo
already calls that a dead switch and hides the row; HRV is only dead
sometimes, so the answer needs one fact the Settings screen does not have.
The server resolves it — `unavailableWidgetIds` on the widgets payload —
and Settings drops those rows. An account with SDNN keeps the toggle: its
tile still works with recovery off, because SDNN is a vital no module owns.
The SDNN probe is an index-only existence check that runs only when
recovery is off, outside the layout cache so the row goes the moment the
module does.
4. The brittle test sliced from the helper to the end of the file, so any
function added below it would have gone red pointing at HRV. Bounded to the
function's own body, with a guard on the bound itself. The three wiring
assertions matched formatted source text — they would have passed just as
well if the tile never rendered — and are replaced by a test that renders
the tile through a real TrendCard and asserts the reading is on screen.
One negative source check is kept, naming the expression the bug lived on
rather than the formatting of its replacement.
5. Rebased onto v1.38.6; the changelog entry sits under [Unreleased].
Not verified here: `pnpm db:generate` cannot run in this container (the
Prisma engine download is refused), so snapshot.test.ts, the widgets route
test and the analytics route test could not load, and typecheck is
incomplete. Lint, format and the HRV suite (17 tests) pass.
A pillar can leave the set behind the number without anybody choosing it:
a window rolls past its floor, a module goes off, a source goes quiet. The
delta already refuses to narrate that as a health event, which stops a
false "you dropped six points" and puts nothing in its place. The level
moves, the panel shows a different number, and the cause is nowhere on the
surface. Under the adaptive minimum this matters more rather than less,
because compositions are smaller now and sit closer to their floors.
The report carries `compositionNotice` when today's set differs from the
last local day the account has a stored score for. Optional and nullable,
the additive shape the score's wire has used six times, so a payload
cached before it existed stays valid. It names what left and what joined
as pillar ids; the surfaces already own the labels, and the reason a
departed pillar stopped counting comes from that pillar's own row in the
same report rather than from a second vocabulary.
Two changes deliberately do not raise it. A method move and a recipe
change each already have their own note, and telling someone twice about
one event teaches them to ignore both.
The key is `health-score:v<version>:composition:<hash of the sorted set>`
and rides the existing dismissed-item ledger, so a dismissal holds until
the set moves again rather than until tomorrow. The read excludes today on
purpose: the row for today is written by the same request that computed
the report, so comparing against the newest row would find today's own
composition on the second load of the same page and the note would vanish
between two views of it.
This gives `HealthScoreRecord` its first production reader. Since it
shipped it has been written on every scored read and consumed by nothing
but backup and restore, which is the write-only shape the contributor
notes call a liability and which nothing in the gate can notice, because
every check proves one end. The round trip is proved against real
Postgres: raise the note, wipe the table, restore it through the admin
route, get the same note back, and hold the dismissal across it.
Rendering is one muted line on the score card and a card of its own on the
settings page, beside the recipe note rather than inside it. Deliberately
not a push.
Four fake Prisma clients gain the new read. They are doubles of a client
the reader really does call now; leaving them short and guarding the call
site instead would have been a shim for a caller that does not exist.
Four surfaces answered a bad request by quietly substituting a good one. Each
fix comes with the test that catches it, and each test was confirmed red
against the old behaviour before the fix went back in.
`PATCH /api/user/ai-provider` inspected its body key by key with `typeof`
guards, so a numeric `model` or a boolean `baseUrl` failed every guard,
produced no entry in the update, and the write went ahead without it — a 200
that says "saved" for a field that was discarded. A body of nothing but such
keys came back as "No valid fields" naming none of them. The real schema now
lives in `src/lib/validations/ai-provider.ts`, the route runs one `safeParse`,
and a mismatch is the multi-issue 422 every sibling answers with. The accepted
field set is unchanged, and the object is deliberately not strict: an unknown
key has always been ignored here and still is. The one thing the schema has to
carry that no other does is that this body holds plaintext credentials, so no
rule may interpolate the value it rejected — noted where the next `.refine()`
would go.
`?slice=` on `/api/analytics` was compared against one literal and fell
through to the DEFAULT body on anything else, so `?slice=summary` answered 200
after running the heaviest chain on the surface. Invisible and expensive at
once. Closed enum, 422 on anything outside it.
`?metricType=` and `?limit=` on `/api/personal-records` were parsed
defensively, which read as robustness and behaved as silence — and in one
direction it was worse than silence: dropping an unrecognised `metricType`
WIDENS the read to every metric, so a typo returned more of the record than
was asked for. Both refuse now, and the 500 ceiling refuses rather than
clamps, because serving a different number of rows than were requested is the
same quiet substitution. No caller in the tree sends a value the new rules
reject.
`POST /api/ingest/medication` bucketed on the client address, so a household
running a chat bridge, a button and a home-automation rule — the normal
deployment for this route — put all three in one 60/min cell and let the
chattiest starve the rest. It already resolves a per-caller identity two lines
further down and threw it away; the bucket is that token now. A request that
resolves no token keeps the per-IP bucket it always had, through the shared
anonymous helper, so a flood is still capped and a broken proxy chain
collapses into the tight global cell rather than a shared "unknown" one. Its
429 goes through `apiError` and carries `meta` like every other refusal.
Two older tests pinned the defects by name — "drops an unknown metricType
silently" and "falls back to default on garbage ?limit" — and one pinned a
throw where the rest of the surface returns an envelope. All three are
rewritten with the reason beside them.
The generated YAML is deliberately not in this commit.
- The daily Coach sweep now charges each ignored day against
surfaceCount and auto-dismisses at three — the cap the schema comment
promised since v1.22 but nothing enforced.
- The welcome gate compares the stored disclaimer acknowledgment
version against the current one, so revised disclaimer text
re-prompts; /api/auth/me carries the version for the client.
- slope90 and anomalyCount leave the analytics wire: slope90 had no
reader anywhere (computed on every request, in SQL twice), and the
slim path could never compute anomalyCount (it always reported 0).
anomalyCount stays as an in-process field on summarize() for the
insights feature builder, which is its only real consumer.
It could never score. The schema records VO2max but cannot tell a
measured test apart from a device estimate, so every fitness row reached
the scorer unproven and was refused - the pillar has never produced a
value on any account. Listing it on the score settings page as a thing
you can choose, with a line admitting it does nothing, was chrome over a
switch that changed no number.
So it leaves the catalogue: no pillar id, no domain, no scorer, no row,
no wire field. A stored selection that still names it reads back fine -
the resolver has always filtered stored ids against the catalogue and
drops what it no longer knows, so nobody's saved recipe throws or is
discarded over it.
That also fixes the page claiming unsaved changes forever. The save
stripped the fitness pillar out of the selection on its way to the
server, so the answer that came back could never match the form that
sent it, and 'All pillars' left the save button lit no matter how often
you pressed it.
Until now the set of pillars behind the Health Score was assembled from
the module switches alone, in a stack of ternaries inside the reader. A
person who turned the sleep module off lost the sleep pillar from their
number as a side effect of a setting about recording data, and there was
nowhere else to say what should count.
The reader now reads the stored recipe and narrows it to the pillars a
module is actually recording. The mapping from module to pillar moves
out of the ternaries into a named map beside the reader, where it can be
read and tested. Glycaemia stays fed by either glucose or labs, which
was the one entry a one-module-per-pillar map would have lost.
Nobody's number moves on upgrade. An account that never opened the new
surface resolves to every pillar, and every pillar narrowed by module
availability is exactly the set the ternaries built, so the inheritance
holds by construction with no backfill.
A pillar the recipe selects whose module is off produces no row at all,
rather than a "waiting for data" line. Turning a module off is a
deliberate act, and asking someone for data they chose to stop recording
would be nagging them in the voice of their own settings.
Every surface that shows a score now goes through one entry point that
computes it and writes the day down, rather than three surfaces each
remembering to. The write is an insert that yields on conflict, so a second
computation of the same day leaves the first row alone, and a failure is
annotated rather than thrown: a score that renders must not disappear
because a bookkeeping insert did.
The fingerprint covers exactly what the stored composite and band depend on
- the algorithm version, the composition, and each counted pillar's score
with its scoring-mode identity. A pillar that was graded but not counted
stays out of both the fingerprint and the row, because it did not
contribute to the number being stored.
The grader returns the score and its basis together and the pillar builder
copies both across, and each of those ends already had its own test. Neither
sees what happens between them: the envelope hand-off, the reader's narrowing,
the pillar list, the JSON that finally goes out. A field can be produced
correctly, consumed correctly, and never reach anyone, which is exactly how a
payload field shipped earlier this month and carried nothing on the wire.
These tests read the assembled response and assert the basis that arrives, so a
future hand-picked key list on that path fails here rather than in someone's
browser.
The score is the worse of the systolic and diastolic sub-scores, and
until now nothing said which one it was or how far over its ceiling the
reading sat. The grader now returns that basis together with the score,
as one value, and it is carried as one value all the way to the pillar
so an explanation can never belong to a different grading run than the
number it explains.
The stage-composition chart totalled each wake day, and a nap ends on the
same wake day as that morning's night. An afternoon nap was added straight
into the night's stage buckets, so the column read longer and shallower
than the night actually was.
The composition now asks the same question the night view already asks:
which session was the night. The night's stages are the night's, and the
nap sits on its own band above them, in its own colour, with its own line
in the tooltip. Days without a nap look exactly as they did.
The Health Score graded the weight pillar against 22 x height squared,
expanded by 2 kg either side: a target nobody set, nothing disclosed,
and the only producer of the pillar's band. For anyone with a height on
file it pre-empted both the honest trend-only path the module header
promised and the null-redistribution behind it, while the target the
user had actually entered sat unread in User.thresholdsJson.
computeHealthScore now takes the band whole plus the yardstick it came
from. Both callers resolve it through one shared builder next to
buildHealthScoreBpInputs, which hands over a band only when
getEffectiveRange reports a real user override; every other account
scores the bare trend. defaultWeightTargetFromHeight is gone.
Same pass, same defect class elsewhere: the dashboard bands, the
weight-drift verdict rung and the weight/BMI record direction all
ignored an explicit target too, and the snapshot never resolved the
mood module, so a mood-off account got a mood pillar in the hero ring
and none in the Insights card. moodEnabled and the weight yardstick are
required parameters now, so a caller that forgets one fails to compile
instead of quietly scoring against a default.
The generated-insight narrative layer built its user-facing sentences by
string interpolation and never routed through the i18n bundle, so a
non-English UI rendered English text spliced into localised copy — e.g.
"Higher activity steps tends to go with lower next-day weight" surfacing
mid-German on the Weight insight. Because those strings bypassed t(), the
locale-integrity guard could not catch them.
Route every correlation narrative through the server translator:
- Correlation discovery (daily lagged pairs + labs-vs-outcome) now takes
the reader's locale, resolved from the correlations route the same way
other insight generators resolve it. Sentence templates, the direction
word, and every channel label live under a new insights.correlation.*
namespace, translated in de/en/es/fr/it/pl. The three fixed hypotheses
(BP-compliance, mood-pulse, weight-weekday) and their weekday labels are
localised the same way; the analytics cache key now includes the locale
so a language switch cannot serve another locale's cached text.
- Metric labels resolve to stable localised channel labels; the never-
causal framing ("not a cause" / "an association, never a cause") and the
faint/moderate/high hedging tiers are preserved in every language.
English output is byte-for-byte unchanged. Adds a regression test pinning
German narration and asserting it is not the English string.

The sleep source-discrepancy annotation now reaches the surfaces: SleepNight
carries the MAIN session's annotation (naps never cross-compare), the analytics
slim slice / dashboard snapshot / iOS summary thread it additively, and the
dashboard sleep tile renders the shared discreet marker (extracted from the
sleep panel — one implementation, two surfaces). Served totals unchanged,
pinned by tests.
Apple Health medications groundwork (server side of the medication-import
request): IntakeSource gains APPLE_HEALTH; medications accept an external
mirror identity (source-exclusive by policy) and dose imports carry the HK
dose-event UUID — both idempotent per stable key, with the concurrent-create
race resolved to the winner. Migration 0239, additive only. Entries without
the new fields behave byte-identically.
Hardening: doctor-report aggregation + PDF charts compute ranges with loops
instead of spread calls — a report over a sample-dense year cannot overflow
the call stack (the class fixed for the Google Health full sync).
One-shot prettier pass so the new format:check gate starts from a clean
baseline. Formatting only — no behaviour change. Generator-owned and
vendored artifacts stay untouched via .prettierignore.
Remove 18 unreferenced i18n subtrees (75 leaves per locale, 450 strings
across de/en/es/fr/it/pl) left behind by the settings D0-D8 reshuffle and
the medication advanced/erweitert naming drift: settings.ai.disableCoach
(superseded by settings.coach.activate), doctorReport.dialog/sections, the
dead settings.sections export.hero / export.cards.doctorReport /
layout.medications / layout.mood / integrations.tabs subtrees and the
orphaned integrations connections/channels blurbs, the medications
detail.advanced.title/group + detail.edit duplicates, insights.recovery
.scoreLink, insights.range, targets.relativeDay (duplicate of
targets.consistency.relativeDay), and insights.subPage.primary /
lastMeasurement. Each subtree confirmed unused; the i18n coverage,
locale-integrity, and sections-parity suites stay green. The per-slug
settings.sections.<slug>.description keys are kept — they back the
SectionPlaceholder fallback and the parity test asserts them.
Point the stale knip entry at src/proxy.ts (renamed from middleware.ts)
and drop the no-match src/lib/health glob.
Resolve the analytics Rest Mode annotation as of the scored window: thread
a single scoredAt instant into both the health-score computation and
resolveRestMode, instead of letting the annotation read a later now().
An active illness/condition episode annotates, it never penalises: the
measured number is untouched, only the narrative changes.
- rest-mode.ts: one server-authoritative resolver (module-gated, fail-soft)
for "is the account in Rest Mode + which episodes back it". iOS mirrors the
resolved context, never recomputes the suppression.
- health-score: /api/analytics attaches a value-free Rest Mode annotation;
computeHealthScore stays pure (score never adjusted).
- recovery-score: computeRecoveryScore carries the Rest Mode context as of the
scored day; the persisted blend is unchanged.
- coach-nudge: pause cadence-nudges during an active episode (new
skippedDuringIllness counter, gate sits before the trigger search).
- achievements: bridgeFrozenStreakGaps freezes (does not break) every
day-streak across illness days; never invents a streak, a non-illness gap
still breaks.
- coincident-deviation: reframe a fired flag as illness-explained; vital
numbers untouched. Surfaced as a neutral line on the insights card.
- coach snapshot: illness history + active illness as load-bearing context so
the coach knows about Rest Mode (no decrypted note reaches the prompt).
- FHIR: illness episodes map to Condition (generic disease root, label on
code.text, patient-reported/unconfirmed) + a bounding Encounter.
- doctor-report: module-gated illness section in the aggregator + PDF table
(retrospective, neutral palette); FHIR Condition section in the bundle.
i18n x6 for the report + reframe copy. Tests: score-annotation-not-
penalisation, streak-freeze, coach-nudge pause, FHIR Condition/Encounter
mapping, doctor-report inclusion, Rest Mode resolver. typecheck/lint/test
green, openapi in sync, knip clean.
The default /api/analytics slice served the per-context glucose
summaries and the TIR / GMI / eA1C clinical panel unconditionally,
leaking a disabled-glucose account's readings to a surface the
account has turned off. The route also serves core weight / BP /
pulse metrics, so a 403 on the whole payload is wrong.
Resolve the glucose module once server-side and null out
glucoseByContext + glucoseClinical when it is off; the core metrics
keep flowing. Mirrors the mood-pillar gate already in this route.
The health-score fast path resolves the per-user module map to drop the mood
pillar when the mood module is off; the analytics route exercises that path, so
its tests must stub the gate (default all-enabled) instead of hitting the
DB-backed resolver.
The Personal Health Score weighted the 0.20 mood-stability pillar
unconditionally — the fast-path read mood entries regardless of the
account's module state, so a user who turned the mood module off was
still scored (and silently penalised or rewarded) by a pillar hidden
everywhere else in the product. The dashboard already blanks the mood
tile and the coach snapshot unions mood out; the score ring and the
insights card pillar list did not.
Thread a default-on `moodEnabled` flag through the fast-path. When the
caller resolves the mood module as disabled the helper skips the mood
read entirely and leaves the series empty, so `moodStability` returns
null and the existing proportional null-redistribution re-scales the
surviving pillars to sum to 100. The analytics route resolves the
module server-side and threads the flag; the insights card hides the
Mood row via a new SSR-safe `useModuleEnabled` accessor so it never
advertises a pillar the account turned off.
Golden fixtures pin mood-on vs mood-off to different, correctly
re-weighted scores and assert the disabled read is never issued.

Add WHOOP-native DAY_STRAIN (0-21) to the Coach snapshot as a dedicated
dayStrain block, kept distinct from the computed STRAIN_SCORE (0-100) and
preferred native-over-computed, mirroring recovery resolution. Document the
glucose.clinical panel (TIR/GMI/eA1C/CV) plus the stillLearning and
isSpotEstimate gates in the system prompt, and the native dayStrain scale in
the derived paragraph. Extend the DE and FR/ES/IT/PL evidence-block unit lists
with mg/dL, mmol/L and min so a non-English coach can cite glucose and duration
values. Export GLUCOSE_PANEL_WINDOW_DAYS as the single source for the 30-day
clinical-panel window and import it across the analytics route, dashboard
snapshot, and Coach snapshot. Compute the derived metrics concurrently.
Review follow-up to the shared entry-instant guard. The past-floor refine
re-ran the full plausibility predicate, so a future-dated instant tripped
both refines and the 422 carried a nonsensical "too far in the past" message
alongside the correct future one. The floor refine now checks the past bound
alone; a future value emits only the future message, matching the pre-refactor
single-message contract.
Also harden the Health-Score BP inputs and de-duplicate the tile-window
derivation surfaced in the same review:
- the prior-week graded score now keys off the prior-week window's own
sufficiency rather than the current window's, so the week-over-week graded
delta never pairs a confident current value against a thin-sample prior one;
- the BD-Zielbereich 90-day count + effective span derive through one shared
`deriveBpWindow90` helper, so the dashboard snapshot and the analytics thick
slice can never compute the gate or the label span differently.
The BD-Zielbereich tile narrated a static "· 90 T" scope even for a user
with only a few weeks of history or a handful of readings — a headline that
reads like a stable quarter-long average when it is really a thin sample.
Add a shared, reusable window-confidence helper that, given a window length
and the readings observed inside it, returns the EFFECTIVE label span (the
real calendar span capped at the window, so "· 23 T" until ~90 days of
history exist) and a sufficiency flag (false below five readings). The helper
is metric-agnostic so the glucose time-in-range / GMI and sleep tiles can
reuse it.
Wire it into the in-target headline: below the confidence floor the tile
shows "sammelt noch Daten" instead of a hard percentage, with the dynamic
span label; above it the percentage shows with the real span. The
Health-Score BP pillar reads the same sufficiency notion through the shared
input builder, so a thin-data user no longer gets a confident pillar grading
off a few readings — the all-time rate still rescues a deep-history account
with a quiet quarter. The 90-day pair count and effective span thread from
the analytics route and the dashboard snapshot through to the tile.
The Personal Health Score was assembled differently by its two callers. The
analytics route (the Insights card) graded the BP pillar off one window and
passed the prior-week values for the week-over-week delta; the dashboard
snapshot (the hero ring) graded it off a different window and omitted the
prior-week values, so the ring's delta zeroed BP out and the pillar's presence
gate could flip. The same user could see two different scores and two
different bands on two surfaces.
Extract `buildHealthScoreBpInputs` — one pure builder that turns the current
and prior-week in-target envelopes into the BP-pillar inputs (the 90-day rate
with an all-time fallback, the graded clinical-proximity score, and the
prior-week counterparts for the delta). Both callers now run the same two
in-target probes and feed the pillar through this builder, so the window
choice, the fallback, the graded-score wiring and the delta inputs are
identical by construction and can never drift between the surfaces again.
The dashboard ring now runs the prior-week probe it previously skipped, so its
week-over-week delta reflects BP movement to match the Insights card.
The "BD im Zielbereich" share was narrated on three different windows on the
same screen: the dashboard headline read the trailing 30 days, the dashboard
Health-Score BP pillar read all-time, and the analytics route's pillar read
all-time while its headline read 30 days. A user could see one in-target rate
on the tile and a pillar graded off a different window directly above it.
Standardise the headline, the Health-Score BP pillar input, and the
week-over-week delta on a single trailing-90-day window everywhere — a span
wide enough to stay stable yet recent enough to track current control.
`computeBpInTargetWindows` and the rollup fast-path now both surface a
`last90Days` window; the analytics route and the dashboard snapshot route the
headline and the pillar through it, and both feed the pillar from the identical
value so the dashboard ring and the insights card can never disagree.
Label the window in the tile ("BD-Ziel · 90 T") so the scope is visible; the
30-day figure stays as the short-horizon caption and the all-time aggregate
stays carried for the detail view. Visible-number change is expected: the
headline now reflects the quarter rather than the month.
Sleep nights collapse per writer instead of per source: several
HealthKit apps land behind the same source value, so a phone's coarse
awake and in-bed blocks could blend into or fully constitute a night
whose stages another writer had recorded. The winning writer per
session is the one with the most distinct granular stages, then the
user's source ladder, and its rows are kept whole. The device type is
threaded through every sleep read including the stage stacked bar, and
the sync overlap for late-arriving nights widens from one day to seven
so a night scored after the cursor passed is fetched on the next tick —
assembly is read-time, so affected nights heal without manual repair.
Mood notes expand to their full text in the list on desktop and touch,
replacing the hover-only tooltip, and the mood CSV export carries a
note column.
The insights read path served a cold cache by generating inline — up to
ten seconds on first visit — and the nightly warm pass structurally
excluded evening visitors: their visit stamped the cache, the half-four
run skipped it as fresh, and it expired exactly at the next evening's
visit. Stale content now serves immediately with its timestamp while
one background job revalidates, the warm threshold drops to an hour,
forced warming fills both message locales, the analytics caches serve
stale-while-revalidate, the profile endpoint parallelises its reads,
the bug-report status drops a write per call, the umami proxy degrades
to a no-op script instead of an error, the insights route sheds its
heaviest static imports, and the medication page prefetches on intent.
The medication list fired one compliance request per card every 30
seconds, and each request scanned the medication's full intake history
and expanded the recurrence calendar five to six times. The endpoint now
mints bands once per request, serves the sub-windows from that single
ledger, bounds the event read to a year of selected columns and sits
behind a write-invalidated 15-minute server cache; the cards poll at
five minutes. The dashboard drops two redundant checklist queries by
reading counts from the snapshot, the BMI chart derives from the weight
series instead of refetching it, the detail page no longer serialises
behind the auth probe and seeds its query from the list row. Expensive
analytics reads gain a shared per-user rate limit, and the service
worker stops serving cross-version shells, enables navigation preload
and trims caches in one pass.
The BP pillar value equalled the binary all-time in-target rate: the
share of paired readings where both systolic and diastolic sat at or
below the age-band ceiling. A borderline stage-1 profile (diastolic a
few mmHg over the ceiling on most readings) collapsed the pillar to the
teens even though the reading is "a bit high", not catastrophic — and
improvement never surfaced because the rate is all-time and binary.
Replace the binary rate AS THE SCORE with a smooth clinical-proximity
grade. A recency-weighted representative reading (45-day half-life) is
mapped per axis onto a 0-100 curve anchored on the same age-band ceiling
the rest of the app uses — optimal ≈ 100, at the ceiling ≈ 85, then
piecewise-linear down through the over-target bands; hypotension is
penalised symmetrically below the clinical floors. The pillar takes the
worse of the two axes, so an elevated diastolic counts without
binary-zeroing the result. A 134/87 profile against a 129/79 ceiling now
reads in the mid-50s.
The in-target rate stays available as a secondary "X% of readings in
range" stat. The healthScore.components.bp shape is unchanged — only the
value moves.
computeSleepStageBreakdown keyed each stage row by the calendar day of
its own measuredAt and never collapsed multi-source, so a night where
sleep began before midnight split across two perNight buckets and a
WHOOP + Apple Health night double-counted every stage. The stacked-bar
therefore disagreed with the dashboard tile and the chart series for the
same dates.
Route it through the canonical reconstructSleepNights: session-cluster
the stages, key by the wake day, collapse to one canonical source, and
apply the granular-over-bare de-dup. The stacked-bar now agrees with the
rest of the sleep surface.
Add the GDPR/trust surface for the durable Coach facts: GET lists the
caller's active facts decrypted, DELETE /[id] soft-deletes one, and a
bulk DELETE clears all — every verb apiHandler + requireAuth +
requireAssistantSurface("coach") + ownership-scoped, with an unknown or
cross-user id collapsing to an idempotent no-op that never leaks
existence. Registered in the OpenAPI contract.

Complete the source-aware rollup read path: the slim summaries slice
(rollup + live), the comprehensive aggregator (both paths, including the
dailyByType correlation feed), and the /api/measurements route (rollup
read + the live date_trunc fallback) now resolve overlapping sources to
the source-priority ladder's canonical reading per (type, day) before
aggregating. A dual-source vital (e.g. WHOOP + Apple Watch resting heart
rate) surfaces one canonical series instead of a blend or a doubled
count; cumulative metrics keep summing per canonical source.
The collapse runs in SQL where the aggregate must stay a single
round-trip (buildSourceRankCase emits a per-user ladder-rank CASE;
canonicalMeasurementsFrom restricts a live read to canonical-source rows)
and in application code (collapseRollupRowsBySource) for the row readers,
both driven by the same resolved ladders so live and rollup agree.
Also widens the enum-literal SQL whitelist to accept digits so VO2_MAX
no longer throws on the typed write-hook recompute or the rank CASE.

Add a 7d / 30d / 90d / 1y segmented control to every HealthKit metric page,
between the stat strip and the chart, with a sentiment-coloured "vs prior
period" delta caption beside it.
New route GET /api/analytics/range?type=<MeasurementType>&range=<7d|30d|90d|1y>
returns the current-window aggregate, the previous comparable window, and the
composed delta. Single metric type by construction, so the read is one
rollup-tier call covering the trailing 2N days sliced into the two halves —
no per-type fan-out, no Prisma-pool burst. Reuses the WMY readers
(readBestGranularityRollups + aggregateWmyBuckets) and the two-window pattern
the year-ago baseline already uses; count/min/max/mean/sum compose across
buckets, SD/slope/r2 stay out (not composable). The cached summaries slice is
untouched so the hottest dashboard cache key never fragments.
The delta caption reuses the dashboard's metric-aware up-good/up-bad colour
logic — extracted from trend-card into a shared trend-sentiment module — with
the metric's good direction sourced from the metric-status registry
(target-band metrics render neutral, matching deviation framing). When the
prior window has no data the caption shows "no prior-period data" rather than
a misleading 0%. The range choice persists across metrics via a localStorage
seam and defaults to 30d so nothing regresses. Cache keyed per (type, range)
through the query-key factory.

(cherry picked from commit eac87a9f8b144f4d8e7a8b950528a19d5dcf8726)
v1.4.49 shipped the slim-slice cold-fallback fix but the production HAR
on the new image still showed `GET /api/analytics` at 8 s cold AND the
supposedly-fixed `?slice=summaries` request hit the same 8 s when fired
concurrently. Investigation found the slim slice queues behind the
default slice's per-type live walk: the 15-way `fetchMeasurementSeriesChunked`
fan-out saturates the `p-limit(4)` lanes and packs the 20-slot Prisma
pool for the full ~8 s on Marc's 467 745-row tenant, starving every
other Prisma client (including the concurrent slim slice) until the
walk drains.
The default slice's `summaries` field has been produceable from the
rollup tier for two releases — the slim slice already uses
`computeFromRollups` + a 90-day narrow `$queryRaw` and returns the
identical `DataSummary` shape sub-second. The walk lived on because
two thick-only fields (`anomalyCount`, `avg30LastMonth`) only existed
on the live path. A grep of every consumer in the repo confirmed:
- `anomalyCount`: no consumer reads it from `/api/analytics`. The
insights pipeline pulls it from its own `comprehensive-aggregator`
narrow query. Slim's `0` constant is what the default route's
consumers already received.
- `avg30LastMonth`: read by `src/app/page.tsx:321` (dashboard
comparison tile) and `src/components/insights/vo2-max-chart-row.tsx`.
Easy to lift: extend the slim narrow `$queryRaw` with one extra
FILTER clause for `[30d, 60d)` — the rows are already inside the
90-day outer cap so the planner reads zero additional blocks.
With both fields covered, `buildAnalyticsResponse` calls
`computeSummariesSlice(user.id)` once and uses its `summaries` +
`lastSeenByType` directly. The 15-way fan-out, the chunked walker,
the `ANALYTICS_TYPE_FETCH_CONCURRENCY` p-limit cap, the 425-day
`since` window, and the `meta.analytics.bp_aggregate` annotate all
delete cleanly — none had callers outside the removed code path.
Net diff: -418 LOC across the route + its tests.
Test updates:
- `route.test.ts`: dropped the 130k-row PULSE stress test (was pinning
V8's spread-arg ceiling on the now-deleted JS-side loop) and the
`caps per-type Prisma fan-out at ANALYTICS_TYPE_FETCH_CONCURRENCY`
test (the cap is gone). Added a negative assertion that
`prisma.measurement.findMany` is never called with the chunked-walk
shape `(select.id + source + deviceType, take: 5000)` and a positive
assertion that `avg30LastMonth` reaches the response envelope.
- `since-cap.test.ts`: dropped the `where.measuredAt.gte` per-type
assertion and the `bp_aggregate.live_since` annotation assertion
(both pinned the removed walk). The slim-slice no-per-type-loop
invariant survives.
Final: 5268 unit + integration tests pass, zero failures, lint clean,
typecheck clean.
Bundles the deferred v1.4.47 Mediums + Lows with the v1.4.48-deferred items
into a single release. Headline: server-side suppression of MEDICATION_REMINDER
APNs for iOS clients that own their local reminders (closes GH #206), a
push_attempts table backing /api/admin/notifications/diagnostic, and a sweep
of v1.4.48 QA forward-findings.
Performance (the user-visible win):
- /api/analytics cold-fallback path splits the heavy single-statement
aggregate into two parallel queries. The linearly composable columns
(count / min / max / mean) keep the full-partition scan; the windowed
7 / 30 / 90-day avg / slope / r² columns take a 90-day outer cap so
the planner does an index range scan on (user_id, type, measured_at)
instead of a full-partition sequential scan. Output is bit-identical;
cold slim slice drops from multi-second to sub-second on tenants with
large measurement partitions.
Server-side notifications:
- GET + PATCH /api/auth/me/notification-prefs with deep-merge semantics.
Initial category medication.clientManaged: boolean (default false). Cron
medicationReminderJob skips dose-due APNs when the flag is true,
emitting a medication_reminder.suppressed_client_managed wide-event
annotation per skip.
- push_attempts table backs the diagnostic endpoint. Every APNS /
Web-Push / Telegram / NTFY sender writes a fire-and-forget row.
Daily 03:35 Europe/Berlin cleanup prunes rows older than 90 days.
- /api/admin/notifications/diagnostic — admin-only endpoint surfacing
device APNs token presence (masked), channel config presence, and
recent push attempts. Registered in OpenAPI.
- Per-channel APNs "Send test" button now fires with
eventType: "MEDICATION_REMINDER" so the dispatcher's time-sensitive +
priority-10 branch runs. A successful self-test now exercises the
exact path production reminders take; an unsuccessful one points the
user at iOS Settings → Time Sensitive Notifications rather than
appearing to be a server-side bug.
Withings reliability:
- OAuth callback consumes the nonce atomically (delete-first with
P2025 catch for the replay branch). The previous read-then-delete
pattern allowed a race between two concurrent callbacks.
- ?reason=state redirect differentiated into csrf1 / replay / expired /
cross_user so operators can tell mismatch types apart without DB
shell access.
- connect endpoint rate-limited to 10/60s/user; row-create failures
redirect to a consistent error surface.
Observability hardening:
- redactSensitiveFields(body) denylist helper covers password / token /
secret / apiKey / authorization / csrfState / nonce, recursive,
case-insensitive. Caught: /api/devices invalid_format issues were
echoing apnsToken values verbatim into the audit log.
- sanitiseZodIssues(issues, { stripValuesFromMessage: true }) overload
applied to 14 audit-log sites.
Migrations: 0079 (notification_prefs), 0080 (push_attempts).
Tests: 4815 → 5272 unit + integration. Workout-batch integration suite
that had been red on main since v1.4.45 (three release commits shipped
through it) now green again — updated to match v1.4.42 cross-source
dedup semantics.
Resolves PR #207.
Eleven touch-disjoint waves landed on develop plus a six-axis QA
reconcile round before tagging. See CHANGELOG.md for the user-facing
prose; this commit message documents the wave + report inventory for
release-management traceability.
Waves shipped (each with a phase report under .planning/):
- phase-W-POOL-v1440-report.md — p-limit(4) wrapper around the
analytics 15-way fan-out + pg.Pool max raised 10 -> 20. Closes the
v1.4.39 empirical-trace finding #1 (Prisma pool starvation).
- phase-W-DELETED-v1440-report.md — 11 reader-tier helpers + 3
integration contracts close audit Critical Finding #3 (soft-delete
invisibility) across dashboard, analytics, summaries, rollup tiers,
and the Coach snapshot path.
- phase-W-INSIGHTS-v1440-report.md — mood-rollup swap on the three
/api/insights/{features,targets,cards} routes plus the
compliance-rollup hook gap closure for bulk-projection mints; the
post-QA reconcile patch closes the six remaining measurement.findMany
sites in the cluster that still leaked tombstoned rows.
- phase-W-INFRA-v1440-report.md — rollup helper umbrella consolidation
under src/lib/rollups/* with zero orphan re-exports; lint, typecheck,
knip, and 93/93 rollup tests green post-restructure.
- phase-W-RSC-v1440-report.md — per-tile Suspense boundaries plus the
queryKey factory-bypass walker test (extended to comparison/ in the
reconcile pass).
- phase-W-PRIVACY-v1440-report.md — bilingual /privacy page with 17
paired-section tests pinning the 9 SB-3 disclosure requirements.
- phase-W-AASA-v1440-report.md — /.well-known/apple-app-site-association
endpoint pinned to S8WDX4W5KX.dev.healthlog.app with app-ID parity
assertions guarding against split rotation.
- phase-W-APNS-NOTIFY-v1440-report.md — MEDICATION_REMINDER
time-sensitive APNs payload (priority 10 + interruption-level)
scoped via a parameterised test that pins all 6 other event-types
do not bypass Focus. AP-2 .p8 install gates real delivery.
- phase-W-CONSENT-v1440-report.md — AI consent receipts CRUD with
append-only invariant pinned in test; revoke-then-regrant leaves
both rows; idempotent DELETE returns 200 + receipt: null.
- phase-W-WMY-WIRE-v1440-report.md — three previously-dead WMY readers
(week/month/year) wired through summaries-slice and
health-score-fast-path with a linear-composability parity test
pinning the cross-consumer routing contract.
- phase-W-GHOSTS-v1440-report.md — ~1 177 lines of dead code removed
across 9 atomic commits; startOfUtcDay + wallClockInTz consolidation
eliminates a sibling-drift risk; knip whitelist trimmed to three
files pending follow-up.
QA reconcile patches applied per the v1.4.40 QA round (six reports
under .planning/round-v1440-QA-*-findings.md):
- senior C1 — dashboard-suspense-boundaries regex aligned with the
post-W-INFRA Thread 2 userTimezone-local lift.
- senior H1 — soft-delete filter added to the six remaining
insights measurement.findMany sites.
- specialist H1 — Promise.allSettled around bulk-projection
compliance recompute on both /api/medications/intake and
/api/dashboard/summary.
- ux H1 — compare-toggle migrated to queryKeys.dashboardWidgets
factory; walker test extended to src/components/comparison/.
- security M1 — consent artefact 64 KB cap enforced via
Buffer.byteLength (UTF-8 bytes, not UTF-16 code units).
Quality gates green at tag: pnpm typecheck, pnpm lint, pnpm knip
--include files,dependencies,binaries,unlisted, pnpm test --run
(4726 passing / 1 skipped). Tests 4525 -> 4726 unit + 1 skipped over
the v1.4.39 -> v1.4.40 span.
User-facing prose: see CHANGELOG.md.
Squashed merge of the v1.4.39 wave work from develop. The release
extends the v1.4.38 fast-path posture to two more endpoints that
still walked the source table on every cold mount and folds a
cumulative `sum_value` column into the existing rollup tier so step /
flight / distance / daylight / active-energy sparklines no longer
re-derive their daily totals in Node.
Raw measurements / mood_entries / medication_intake_events tables are
byte-unchanged. Three new tiers (mood_entry_rollups,
medication_compliance_rollups, measurement_rollups.sum_value) are
derived caches that self-heal via boot-time backfill on first reach.
Migrations 0070, 0071, 0072 are additive only. The sum_value column
add is catalog-only DDL on PostgreSQL 11+ — no table rewrite, writes
resume in milliseconds. No environment-variable change. No API
contract break. No iOS contract change.
Expected wins (live perf-verify rides the post-deploy window):
- /api/mood/analytics cold 12.7 s -> ~200 ms
- /api/medications/intake?scope=compliance cold 3.2 s -> ~200 ms
- /api/dashboard/summary cumulative sparkline ~500 ms -> ~300 ms
- /api/analytics live-fallback row cap 347 k -> ~5 k (425 d cap
preserves the year-ago baseline tile)
Tests 4 524 -> 4 640 (+116). Typecheck clean. Lint clean.
See CHANGELOG.md for the full v1.4.39 entry.
Robustness sweep, perf hotspots, full localization, coach gate
cascade closure.
- /api/dashboard/summary cold-mount 4.6 s → ~500 ms via DAY-bucket
sparkline + 60 s response cache.
- Coach API gate inventory test surfaced and closed two orphan
routes (chat[id] GET+DELETE, chat-message feedback POST).
- Cross-tz fast-path runtime guard falls back to live for users
more than ±3 h from UTC; proper bucket minting stays v1.5.
- es / fr / it / pl coverage 27 % → 63 % (~3 400 new strings) plus
three medication-cluster placeholder restorations.
- IANA timezone validation closes the User.timezone self-DoS
regression the new dashboard SQL would have surfaced.
- Unit suite 4520 → 4524.
See CHANGELOG.md for the full set.
Hotfix on top of v1.4.37. The post-deploy verify caught
/api/analytics cold-mount hits of ~62 s and parallel /api/health
checks of ~58 s on the live instance, far above the v1.4.37
1.5-3 s perf claim. Root cause: the synchronous
ensureUserRollupsFresh(userId) call at the top of each heavy
read path folds the trailing 90-day DAY window when the rollup
watermark trails the newest measurement. On a power-user account
whose iOS step samples push the watermark every few minutes,
each cache miss synchronously paid the full refresh cost on a
Node worker that also serves the rest of the request fan-out
(including /api/health, /api/version, and concurrent iOS calls),
and the event loop was blocked for the duration of the
recompute.
Convert the three call sites (analytics route, comprehensive
aggregator, summaries slice) to fire-and-forget. The downstream
probeRollupCoverage gate falls back to live SQL on partial
coverage so correctness is preserved; the only user-observable
change is one cache window of staleness on the very first
request after a new measurement landed.
Carries the v1.4.36 perf carry-over for the full /api/analytics
route (correlations + healthScore + bp_in_target on the rollup-
coverage probe, 111s cold worst-case down to ~1.5-3s on power-user
accounts), consolidates Apple Health step samples into a one-row-
per-day list view with chevron drill-down and a nightly drain
(~50x table compression once it converges), restores
IntakeHistoryListV2 to the pre-v1.4.28 contract, converges every
Coach affordance behind a single feature gate with an invariant
test pin, lifts the medication-detail Mounjaro card to byte-
equivalent parity with Ramipril, brings the Insights overview
hero row to height parity, hardens getClientIp behind a new
TRUST_CF_CONNECTING_IP env flag, ships the Arztbericht hero card
on Settings -> Export, adds the Medikamenteneinnahme quick-add
overlay to the dashboard, drops the timezone override toggle for
a silent browser-zone auto-seed, and fixes the v1.4.36 red CI
workflows. Documentation refreshed across all three repos with
five new architecture diagrams in the Dracula palette. Unit suite
4354 -> 4486 passing; typecheck + lint clean.
Heavy-aggregate skip on the rollup-fresh + fully-covered path,
daily chart fetches opt into rollup buckets via source=rollup,
Insights extractFeatures swap drops the prompt payload from
double-digit MB to the low hundreds of kB on power-user accounts,
page-level isLoading gate replaced with per-section early-skeleton
paint, trends-row chart slot pinned for CLS, IntakeHistoryListV2
restored on the medication detail page, About card folded into the
Admin Console with an auto-checking update badge, cumulative metric
tiles read the day's running sum, IP-whois fallback surfaces city
+ country when the ASN lookup misses. Migration 0068 adds an
additive users.insights_exclude_metrics column. Unit suite 4354
passing; typecheck + lint clean.
Foundation release for the persistent measurement_rollups cache tier.
Adds the additive table + enum, populates it from every measurement
write hook, lands the Apple-Health-import end-of-job backfill, and
ships the parity-checked read-swap on two reader surfaces.
The comprehensive insights aggregator and the slim analytics
summaries slice now source count / min / max / mean per type from the
DAY rollup buckets via aggregateBuckets, plus the comprehensive
dailyByType correlation feed straight from the bucket means. Slope /
R² / standard deviation / anomaly counts stay on live SQL — they do
not compose across DAY buckets. A defensive parity check against the
live aggregate's COUNT(*) falls back to live SQL when divergence is
detected.
Includes the new scripts/backfill-rollups.ts CLI for the one-shot
fold of historical measurements into all four granularities.
Tests: 4280 unit + 228 integration. tsc + lint clean. Migration
0067_v1434_measurement_rollups is idempotent under re-run.
The final functional web release before the iOS native client lands.
Headline work: a streaming Apple Health `export.zip` importer for
prospective iOS-migrating accounts, a server-side aggregation cache
that collapses the three hottest dashboard reads onto in-process LRU
slots with single-flight coalescing and per-user invalidation, a
broader compliance classifier with a dedicated `early` bucket so
ahead-of-window doses count as compliant, the Coach launch surface
hoisted onto every authed page with a dashboard-hero CTA, and a
trimmer Settings shelf that folds Sources into Targets. The release
also lights up the `cache.<name>.outcome` annotation on the active
wide event so production logs carry the cache hit-ratio signal
without leaking userIds.
### Added
- **Server-side aggregation cache.** A new `ServerCache<T>` primitive
(`src/lib/cache/server-cache.ts`) extends the v1.4.33 Coach snapshot
LRU shape into a reusable per-route layer with TTL expiry,
capacity-bounded LRU eviction, single-flight read coalescing, and
per-instance hit / miss / eviction / stampede counters. Wires the
three hottest dashboard reads — `/api/analytics` (slim + default),
`/api/gamification/achievements`, `/api/medications/intake?scope=compliance`
— and bolts per-user invalidation onto every measurement / mood /
medication / workout / dashboard-widget write endpoint so the next
read paints fresh data instead of waiting out the TTL. Every cache
hit / miss surfaces on the active wide event as
`cache.<name>.outcome` + `cache.<name>.key_hash` so production logs
carry the hit-ratio signal without leaking userIds.
- **Apple Health `export.zip` import.** New endpoint
`POST /api/import/apple-health-export` (synchronous multipart
upload, asynchronous ingest via a dedicated pg-boss
`apple-health-import` worker, per-`MeasurementType` ingestion
stats). Streams the upload straight to disk so a multi-gigabyte
export never lands in V8 heap, hashes the bytes inline for
content-based idempotency, and unpacks `apple_health_export/export.xml`
with a hand-rolled ZIP central-directory walker that handles Zip64
for archives past the 4 GB barrier. The parser folds every
`<Record>`, `<Workout>`, `<Correlation>`, and `<ClinicalRecord>`
into the existing `Measurement` and `Workout` row shapes — spot
rows keyed by `HKMetadataKeyExternalUUID` (or a deterministic
`sample:<sha256>` fallback), cumulative HK types collapsed into
one `stats:<HKType>:<YYYY-MM-DD>` row per user-local day to match
the iOS daily-aggregation convention. Live per-stage progress
surfaces through `GET /api/import/apple-health-export/{jobId}/status`.
An admin variant at `POST /api/admin/import-apple-health-export`
imports on behalf of a target user (cookie-only `requireAdmin()`
gate; Bearer tokens never elevate).
- **`ImportJob` schema model + migration.** New Prisma model captures
the per-upload state machine (`queued | unpacking | parsing |
upserting | done | failed`), the content-hash for idempotency
short-circuits, and the per-`MeasurementType` ingestion counters
the status route surfaces back to the client.
- **`lastSeenByType` on `/api/analytics`.** Both the slim
(`?slice=summaries`) and default slices return a per-type
`{ lastSeenAt, daysAgo }` map. The dashboard trend tiles wire 12
mounts to a new `tileStaleDays()` helper so an "X days / weeks /
months ago" hint paints under any per-metric tile whose last
sample crosses the 7-day floor. Six locales gained additive
week / month plural keys; Polish uses the genitive-plural form
that covers every non-1 count the bucket math can produce.
- **Dashboard "Ask the coach" hero CTA.** A new pill next to the
existing "Hinzufügen" / "Add" launches the Coach drawer directly
from the dashboard hero. The `<CoachLaunchProvider>` hoisted from
the insights layout to the auth shell so the drawer is reachable
from every authed route; the floating action button stays scoped
to `/insights/**` so it cannot distract on the dashboard.
- **Shared achievements query hook.** `useAchievementsQuery()`
centralises the three previous consumers — recent-achievements
card, the `/achievements` mother page, and the unlock notifier —
onto one TanStack queryKey + cache slot so dashboard cold mount
fires the endpoint once instead of twice.
- **Typed authed Cache-Control presets.** New
`src/lib/http/cache-headers.ts` module exports
`NO_STORE_BUT_BFCACHE = "private, max-age=0, must-revalidate"`,
`SHORT_LIVED_PUBLIC`, and an `applyAuthedHeaders()` helper. The
presets land at the framework level via a `next.config.ts`
`headers()` rule that stamps the bfcache-friendly directive on
every authed HTML response, restoring Chromium bfcache eligibility
for in-app back / forward navigation.
- **`scripts/print-bundle-report.mjs`.** Restores the at-a-glance
"top client chunks by parsed size" signal Turbopack dropped from
`next build`; reads `.next/analyze/client.json` (written by
`@next/bundle-analyzer` when `pnpm analyze` runs with `ANALYZE=1`)
and prints a sorted table plus totals.
### Changed
- **Settings sidebar: "Sources" folded into "Targets & Sources".**
Per-metric threshold ranges and per-metric source priority now
share one `/settings/thresholds` page so the same metric's
threshold and device-source preference sit together instead of
one sidebar entry away. `/settings/sources` keeps a
`permanentRedirect` so external bookmarks and docs links follow
through unchanged. Section count: 11 → 10.
- **Insights tab strip: vital pills collapse under a "Vitals"
parent.** Five vital pills (HRV, Resting HR, Oxygen, Body
Temperature, Active Energy) hide behind one parent pill that
opens a popover sub-list. Parent-pill active state mirrors the
URL so spatial orientation survives the collapse; each sub-page
keeps its own URL and bookmark resolves unchanged. Strip
footprint: 14 → 10 entries when every metric has data.
- **Coolify env-var audit.** `mcp__coolify-apps01__env_vars`
inspection captured the section-1 / section-2 duplicates that
have accumulated under apps-01 since v1.3.1. Audit pinned at
`.planning/round-v1434-iwa-coolify-env-audit.md`; no env-var
deletes performed (operator action).
### Fixed
- **Compliance classifier: early intakes count as compliant.** The
classifier picked up a dedicated `early` bucket (window-start
minus three hours through window-start), the `on_time` post-window
tolerance widened from one hour to three hours, and the `late`
band sits between the new `on_time` ceiling and the configurable
`lateMinutes` knob. Heatmap consumers route the new bucket
through the compliant path; the dedicated `early` counter rides
on `DailyComplianceEntry` for downstream consumers that want to
distinguish ahead-of-window from on-window intakes.
- **Compliance heatmap fallback retired.** The v1.4.33 defensive
`looksClassifierBug` fallthrough is gone now that the underlying
classifier widening removes the every-dose-very-late mode the
fallback covered.
### Performance
- **`/api/gamification/achievements` consumer collapse.** Two of
three previous consumers shared the same TanStack queryKey
literal; the third carried a per-user discriminator so the cache
treated it as a fresh slot. Dashboard cold mount fired the
endpoint twice. Collapsing onto the shared hook trims that to a
single request; with the new server-side cache slot warm, the
duplicate-mount worst case rides single-flight coalescing.
- **GHCR build fires once per release tag.** The
`docker-publish.yml` workflow lost its `push.branches: [main]`
trigger; the `:latest` raw-tag enable rule moved onto the tag
ref so each release produces exactly one multi-arch build that
refreshes both the semver tags and the `:latest` alias.
- **NFT-trace warnings silenced.** `next.config.ts` gained an
`outputFileTracingExcludes` block that narrows the Turbopack
tracer away from the `MAXMIND_LICENSE_KEY` env-access path so
the trace-report no longer warns on every dependent route file.
### Refactor
- **Dashboard analytics consumers.** The two cards that previously
decided their own freshness copy now lean on the typed
`tileStaleDays()` helper and the additive `lastSeenByType` field
on the analytics response. Mood and BD-Zielbereich tiles keep the
default `null` because they have no underlying per-type freshness
signal.
### Accessibility
- **Dashboard hero CTA hits the WCAG 2.5.5 touch-target floor.**
The new "Ask the coach" pill carries `min-h-11` on mobile and
the matching `sm:min-h-9` desktop floor so the touch target
stays above 44 px on the Pixel 5 boundary.
- **Insights tab-strip Vitals parent reads correctly to assistive
tech.** Parent pill carries `aria-current="page"` whenever the
current URL matches one of its child vital sub-pages, plus a
`data-slot="insights-tab-strip-group"` hook for visual-regression
testing.
### Internal
- **Two e2e flake windows tightened.** `onboarding-flicker` swapped
its 12-sample 50 ms poll loop for a single Playwright
auto-retrying `toBeHidden({ timeout: 700 })` assertion so the
1-2 ms race window between the analytics-pending shell and
`useAuth().user` resolving collapses to a single retry slot.
`mobile-viewport` dropped `nav a[href]` from the touch-target
sweep (the bottom-nav owns its own WCAG spec) and gated the
44-px floor on `matchMedia('(min-width: 640px)').matches === false`
so the Pixel 5 viewport never tripped into the `sm:` tier during
WebKit render commits.
- **Server-cache observability.** Every `cached()` invocation passes
an `annotate` callback that lands two keys on the wide event:
`cache.<name>.outcome` ∈ `{ hit | miss | stampede }` and
`cache.<name>.key_hash` (non-reversible djb2 32-bit hash). Ops
can grep `cache.analytics.outcome` over any time window to
compute the hit ratio per deployment.
- **AASA followups verified.** The v1.4.33 `/.well-known/apple-app-site-association`
handler serves a direct 200 on every fronting origin; Apple's
CDN has ingested matching bodies for all three domains.
### Web freeze
v1.4.34 marks the last functional release of the web codebase before
the iOS native client launches. Subsequent v1.4.x tags carry security
fixes, dependency bumps, and hotfix-only corrections. New feature work
is paused until the iOS app clears Apple review, at which point a
v1.5.0 version-bump-only release tags the milestone. The Prisma
schema head comment and `.planning/v15-strategic-plan.md` §5
decision-log row pin the freeze trigger in-tree.
