One migration (0254). No breaking changes.
## [1.30.30] — 2026-07-19
Four languages get their own words; a failed read stops claiming you have no data.
- **Reminder notifications, the assistant's reply language, chart and calendar labels, and durations were English or German for French, Spanish, Italian and Polish.** The translations existed; the code that picked between them only knew two languages. It now uses the account's own.
- **Polish counts correctly.** Polish has a third plural form that a two-form scheme cannot express, so counted phrases read wrong. The other five languages resolve exactly as before.
- **A screening history that failed to load said "not taken yet".** On a mental-health surface that is a false statement about your own record — you could reasonably conclude you never completed something you did complete. That surface, and a nutrient card with the same flaw, now say the reading failed and offer to try again. Nothing retries silently: a failure you cannot see is worse than one you can.
- Three sleep-rhythm cards that share one reading each printed the same failure notice; the page now shows it once.
## [1.30.29] — 2026-07-19
- **A connector token that may only read is now refused at the write itself**, not only by never being offered the write. The protection was real but rested entirely on how the connection is assembled, so a future change to that assembly could have opened writing with no test noticing. Any write added later inherits the check.
- **Names and text read out of your records now carry an explicit boundary when handed to a connected assistant**, matching what the app already does for its own assistant.
- **Reading a medication list from a photo measured its cost against the server-wide limit even when you use your own key.** It now uses your own limit. The older way of counting that caused this — the third surface to have it — is removed entirely rather than fixed in place, so nothing can reach for it again.
- Removed a module that read as a check on generated recommendations but had not run for some time. It could not simply be switched on: it required fields the current format does not have, so enabling it would have rejected nearly every generation. The measurement it fed is unaffected and still runs.
No breaking changes.
## [1.30.28] — 2026-07-19
- **Daily briefings count against the AI budget.** They were the one

* v1.4.16 phase B5d — deterministic confidence-score computation per
* recommendation.
*
* The maintainer's mandate: the model's self-reported confidence is unreliable
* (calibrated probabilities are not a small-LLM strength), so the
* wrapper OVERRIDES with a server-computed value derived from three
* inputs that the cited data window actually exposes:
*
* - n sample count behind the cited data window
* (`metricSource.n`).
* - recencyDays days since the most recent sample in the window;
* a 7-day rec built off data 25 days old should
* not feel as confident as the same rec built off
* data from this morning.
* - deviationStdRatio |deviation| / stdev of the user's 90-day
* baseline. `null` when the baseline is too thin
* to compute a stdev — we fall back to a neutral
* mid-band score rather than zero.
*
* Score components (sum, max 100):
*
* - n contribution: log-saturating curve, capped at 40.
* n<3 hard-caps the whole score at ≤15 (5 * n) — three samples is
* the hard floor for any quantitative claim per research §2.A
* (Apple's "be quiet when unsure" stance).
*
* - recency contribution: 30 at <2d old, decays linearly to 0 at
* 30d, floored at 0. The shape matches the Oura "Pay Attention"
* band — old data is still data, just stale.
*
* - signal contribution: 30 at |z|≥1.5 (clearly out-of-band),
* scaled linearly down to 0 at z=0. When ratio is null (no
* baseline yet), we award 15 — neither punishing the user for
* thin history nor over-claiming a strong deviation we can't
* measure.
*
* The formula is pre-feedback. v1.4.17 will fit weights to thumbs-up
* rates (B5e feedback ratchet); for v1.4.16 the formula is fixed and
* deterministic so admin observability + the "draft pill below 25"

/**
* Plural-tier selection for the count-bearing message keys.
*
* The bundle originally carried a two-form scheme per countable string —
* `<base>One` for 1 and `<base>Other` for everything else. That expresses
* English, German, Spanish, French and Italian correctly, but not Polish:
* Polish splits the non-singular range into a "few" form (2–4, 22–24, 32–34,
* …) and a "many" form (0, 5–21, …), so a two-form scheme rendered
* "2 godzin temu" where the language wants "2 godziny temu".
*
* Rather than hand-roll the modulo arithmetic, the tier comes from
* `Intl.PluralRules`, which carries the CLDR rules for every locale we ship.
* The three tiers map as:
*
* CLDR "one" → `One`
* CLDR "few" → `Few`
* CLDR "many" / "other" → `Other`
*
* For de / en / es / fr / it the "few" category never fires on an integer, so
* those locales resolve exactly as they did before this module existed — the
* change is inert for them by construction, not by a special case. For Polish
* the surviving `Other` tier carries the "many" form, which is what the key
* already held, so only the new `Few` tier needed fresh strings.
*
* `Other` is the floor: an unknown category, an unsupported locale, or an
* `Intl.PluralRules` that throws all resolve to it, which is the pre-existing

* constrains an uncooperative one.
*
* What actually bounds the blast radius is the surface itself, below: writes
* are append-only, idempotent, single self-reported readings, scope-gated
* twice, rate-limited per credential, and audience-bound to `/mcp`. That is
* the real control. `confirm` is ergonomics on top of it.
*
* DELIBERATE SAFETY BOUNDARY — what is NOT here and must NOT be added without
* a security review:
* - No medication create / intake / edit, no schedule or dose changes.
