Append a Postgres connection-pool sizing section to the self-hosting scaling guide. Documents the v1.4.40 W-POOL default (20 slots per container), the container_count × DATABASE_POOL_MAX × max_connections envelope (with a 1-5 container ready-reckoner table), the env-var override path, and PgBouncer as the escape hatch for deployments that outgrow the per-process pool model.
