The export panel rendered twenty flat switches behind a collapsed disclosure,
and the share-link form rendered none at all — it posted whatever the create
schema defaulted to. Both now mount the same picker: twelve named groups, a
count on each, the leaf grid one chevron away, and a fenced tier below a
separator.
The fence is mechanical, not a label. The sensitive tier has no group
checkbox, so no single control anywhere in the picker can turn on more than
one of mood, cycle, family history, PHQ-9, GAD-7, WHO-5 or SCI at a time.
There is no select-all. The shipped template contains none of them. And the
scope line under the button restates every sensitive inclusion by name rather
than folding it into a count, because a number cannot be checked at a glance
and "incl. Mood, PHQ-9" can.
First run opens expanded with the named standard template applied and the
fenced tier visibly empty, so the user presses Generate having seen twelve
named groups. Every later run opens collapsed carrying their own last
selection, which makes the waiting-room path two interactions.
Only leaves are ever stored. A group's checkbox is derived from its leaves, so
the two cannot disagree, and switching a group off and back on inside one
session restores the pattern instead of flooding it.
The cycle export card is deleted. It posted empty groups under a docblock
claiming every other section was off, and empty groups resolved to the
defaults — so a "cycle only" download carried weight, blood pressure, pulse,
oxygen saturation, body fat, body composition, the medication list, adherence,
labs, allergies and family history. Cycle is a fenced leaf in the one picker
now, reachable for the PDF as well as for FHIR, which is more than the card
offered.
The panel gains a 30-day preset and a custom window, and its error line says
what went wrong instead of interpolating a status code.
The Checkbox primitive learns the indeterminate state it already had the Radix
support for. A partly-selected group drawn as unchecked would say "none of
this is included", which on this surface is a false statement about what
leaves the instance.
The doctor-report contract has always described the practice / clinic name as
a stored preference, and `/api/auth/me` has returned
`User.lastReportPracticeName` since it shipped, but nothing ever wrote the
column. Every report asked for the clinic name again.
The export route now persists the sanitised name after the requested artefact
has actually been produced, so a generation that throws cannot overwrite the
remembered value with a half-typed one. Clearing the field persists null, which
keeps the cover line cleared next time. The export panel seeds its input from
the auth payload during render, gated per user id, so a late resolve never
clobbers a field the user is already typing into, and a finished export
invalidates the cached payload so a remount reads the new value.
Add the affine display-transform registry (kg↔lb, cm↔in, °C↔°F with the
temperature offset carried as an absolute-only shift), a single client hook
that reads the preference, and a shared inbound unit-alias resolver. Wire the
manual entry form to label, prefill, and convert at the boundary so an imperial
reading persists in canonical SI, and route the record list value cells and
edit dialog through the same choke point. Close the one write path that could
persist a non-canonical unit: the MCP log_measurement tool now resolves a unit
hint to canonical or refuses it, reusing the resolver the CSV importer already
relied on.
Wire the notification-prefs cards, the module toggles, the coach-preferences
save, and the two mood-tag manage cards to echo the optimistic-concurrency
token they last read and to reload on a 409 instead of resaving over a newer
change. Document the token and the 409 on the four write endpoints in the
OpenAPI registry via the shared base-token field and conflict-response
fragments.
Extract the dashboard-layout optimistic-concurrency mechanism (issue #581)
into a shared server helper (takeBaseToken plus guardedUserUpdate /
guardedRowUpdate) and a client helper (readUpdatedAtToken, withBaseToken,
isConflict). Retrofit the dashboard-widgets route onto the helper and apply the
same guard to the insights layout, medications layout, and coach about-me write
endpoints.
A request that omits the base token keeps the byte-identical unconditional
write, so older clients are unaffected. Document the contract in the OpenAPI
registry, including the dashboard-widgets path that was previously absent.
A dose logged from another screen marked the Today hero and the dashboard
stale without re-reading them, so returning to the home page kept showing the
old state until the 120 s poll or a hard reload. The daily reads run with
refetchOnMount off, so a bundle invalidation with the default active
refetch-type never touched them while they were unmounted.
Route every intake-affecting medication write through one blessed
invalidateMedicationReads (bundle invalidation plus a forced inactive refetch
of the digest and snapshot): Take all due, the intake edit dialog, the history
bulk/row delete, the dose-history ledger and its add dialog, the lifecycle and
danger-zone actions, and the intake import. Give the Vorsorge reminder
mutations the same daily-rail refresh, bust the biomarker assessment and the
labs-changes read after a lab write, and refetch the daily reads after a
briefing regenerate so the Today lead updates without a reload.
Restore the dashboard-layout concurrency belt: the settings layout query now
always loads its own tokened copy, so a home-page visit can no longer strand a
save without its base token and silently drop the v1.32.16 conflict guard.
Add a structural guard that fails CI when a new site invalidates a daily-reads
bundle without the paired inactive refetch, so this class cannot recur a
fourth time, plus behavioural coverage for the batch take and the Vorsorge
refresh.
Refs #581
The spine dispatches a generator-free enqueue; the worker resolves the
provider. Five gates stand in front of it in ascending cost order — both
modules on, ten-minute duration floor, a hard count of four a day in the
user's own timezone, an input hash over the deterministic evidence, and the
token ledger inside the shared status chokepoint. Each refusal returns a
status rather than throwing, because retrying against a ceiling that does not
move until midnight is an unbounded loop.
The detail route only reads: a workout with no row serves null and renders no
card, which is every workout that predates this and every re-synced one. An
undecryptable paragraph degrades to no card rather than failing the page.
The detail surface at /insights/workouts/[id] gains a real heart-rate
curve, effort zones, an aspect-true GPS route, and per-kilometre splits
— all read from data already stored, no new integration, no migration.
- HR curve: one server path with strict provenance — stored
WorkoutSamples series first, a raw-PULSE window reconstruction second
(quality-gated so sparse data hides rather than lies), nothing third.
Adaptive bucketing keeps on-screen density constant across a 20-minute
HIIT and a 6-hour ride; a min/max envelope surfaces intervals.
- Effort zones: five %HRmax bands via the Tanaka HRmax, with a device's
own reported time-in-zone winning when present. Descriptive only.
- GPS route: self-rendered inline SVG with an equirectangular
cos(midLat) longitude correction (fixes the ~40% horizontal stretch),
aspect-clamped viewBox, RDP downsampling, start/end markers, and an
optional elevation profile. Nothing leaves the origin — no map tiles.
- Per-km splits and a GPX export, both derived client/server-side from
the geometry already on the payload.
- The endpoint extends additively (hrSeries, zones, splits, sportContext,
a reserved insight seam) behind an opt-in compact=1 param that drops
the raw sample/timestamp blobs for the web client; without the param
the response is unchanged.
- Every data-less section now hides instead of rendering an empty card;
the growing detail component is split into a workout-detail/ directory.
- List rows flag which sessions open into a rich detail.
Coach conversation history was capped at the rail's first ~20 threads and
searched only that loaded page. The rail and the standalone conversations
page now walk the caller's entire history via cursor pagination
(useInfiniteQuery + a scroll sentinel), and search runs server-side against
the conversation title (GET /api/insights/chat?q=) instead of filtering an
already-truncated client array.
Also extends the "automatic screening" info line in the metric catalog to
name the labs "what changed since your last panel" card alongside the
rhythm/breathing/health-status watchdogs it already covered — it un-mounts
the same way when there's nothing to flag and was missing from the copy.
The authenticated shell's actual scroll container is <main
id="main-content"> (AuthShell sets it overflow-y-auto inside a
height-locked layout); document.scrollingElement never moves there, so
the gesture's "only arm at the top of the page" check was permanently
true regardless of how far a user had scrolled a long list. Point it
at the real scroll container instead, with the old document-root check
kept as a fallback for the few body-scrolled surfaces outside the
shell.
Extend pull-to-refresh from 4 pages (labs/checkups/mood/measurements)
to the dashboard, /insights, /medications, and the documents vault —
the sharpest PWA-resume-staleness surfaces, per the audit: a
background-refreshed dose or a cross-device write otherwise sits
stale until a full remount or the staleTime window lapses.
Coach chat bubbles and the document OCR text panel wrapped long unbroken
tokens (URLs, IDs) past their column width on narrow viewports — add
break-words. Drop the /90 alpha on the coach error text so it stays on the
AA-retuned status token.
Today hero's loading skeleton had drifted from the v1.29.1 tightened hero
(gap/items-start/space-y/rail-heading/xl:grid-cols-3), causing a visible
shift on every dashboard load; mirror the loaded classes 1:1.
The wellness-scores strip returned null while its shared batch loaded,
so it popped in late and pushed the page below it down — render the
section heading + tile-shaped skeletons instead, matching the vitals
dashboard's loading pattern.
Priority-card actions (coach check-in keep/let-go) had no pending state,
so a slow round trip could be double-tapped into firing the mutation
twice; disable the action row while in flight. Priority-item dismiss is
now optimistic (removes the card from the rail on tap, rolls back on
error) instead of waiting on invalidate-after-success.
Intraday pulse rendered sparse spot readings as a smooth interpolated
curve across hours-wide gaps, implying continuous monitoring the data
never had. The chart now grids one point per bucket, breaks the area
over any missing bucket (connectNulls={false}), and discloses coverage
("based on N readings across M hours") whenever that produces a visible
break.
Four surfaces also collapsed a failed fetch into the honest empty/no-
data state instead of surfacing the error: the Today hero, the
medication efficacy tab (previously stuck on the loading skeleton
forever on error), the intraday pulse chart, and the recent-workouts
dashboard tile. All four now branch on isError and render
QueryErrorCard with a retry action; the tile's "loading…" text line is
replaced with row-shaped skeletons.
The worth-a-look rail mixed actionable items (an overdue dose, a broken
sync) with observational ones (a milestone, a new ECG pointer, a tension
window) that have nothing to act on beyond "seen it" — there was no way
to clear them short of them expiring on their own.
Add server-side dismissal scoped to the three observational kinds only:
a new DismissedPriorityItem table (userId + itemKey, composite-unique),
a POST /api/daily/digest/dismiss route, and a deterministic itemKey the
digest builder stamps per kind (metric + reach day for a milestone, the
recording's own timestamp for an ECG, the local day + part of day for a
tension window) so a dismissal never bleeds into a later day's instance.
The actionable kinds never carry an itemKey, so the dismiss affordance
and the endpoint are both structurally unreachable for them — an
itemKey not namespaced under a dismissible kind 422s before any lookup.
The Today hero and the check-in hook imported the check-in intent constants
from digest.ts, which — since the milestone slice — transitively reaches the
database through the streak baseline engine. That pulled the Postgres driver
into the client bundle (a Turbopack 'Can't resolve net/tls/dns' build failure
the worktree build couldn't surface). Move the four constants to a tiny,
dependency-free coach-checkin-intents module; the client imports them from
there, and digest.ts (the server builder) stays server-only.
Every accepted coach plan now earns a gentle weekly check-in. Confirming a
plan (proposed → active) without an explicit review date defaults one to a
week out, so a plan is always reviewed, not only the coach's own experiments.
The daily digest emits a single `coach_checkin` rail item when a standing
plan's review has come due — its pinned review date, or a defaulted
activation + 7 days for plans that predate it, or the read-back state a
reviewed plan carries. Capped at one check-in a day across all plans
(earliest-due wins); the rest wait for a following day. It reads existing
plan state only — no fresh generation, nothing warms on mount, and it is
gated on the coach module.
The card offers three one-tap actions through the existing plan-lifecycle
route: keep it (re-arm for another week), adjust it (open the coach), or let
it go (a guilt-free, respected end — the calm inversion of a streak). An
ignored check-in sits quiet and stops resurfacing after about two cycles;
its status is never changed behind the user's back.
Copy lands in all six locales.
Client-rendered times fell back to the hardcoded display zone
(Europe/Berlin) because neither useFormatters() nor the legacy format.ts
helpers ever received users.timezone. A third localStorage mirror
(timezone-mirror.ts, following the time-format/date-format pattern)
carries the validated profile zone from /api/auth/me into both read
paths; the fallback chain is strictly profile → Europe/Berlin — never
the browser zone, so screen, PDF, and export cannot disagree.
makeFormatters validates its zone before Intl (a poison value falls back
instead of throwing inside every render).
Same pass, per the two-document audit: formatUpdatedLabel boundary and
clock now resolve one zone in every state (the undefined-tz browser hole
is closed); @db.Date calendar fields render UTC-pinned so profiles west
of UTC cannot shift a day; dose-history day headings and GLP-1 weekday
labels derive from the display zone; chart day/month labels are
encoding-derived and UTC-pinned (bucket math untouched, byte-identical
for Berlin profiles); the clinician share view renders in the patient's
timezone instead of the container's; Playwright pins Europe/Berlin.
Server day-key semantics, streak anchoring, insight cache keys, and
verbatim wall-clock strings are untouched by construction and pinned by
the new Auckland/New_York/Manila + DST test matrix.
The dynamic /i18n/[locale] route handler answered with Next's default
Cache-Control (private, max-age=0, must-revalidate) and no validator —
its immutable-cache header was overridden, so a non-PWA browser would
re-download the full catalog on every hard load. Static public/ files
keep an ETag (repeat loads revalidate to a 304) and the service
worker's cache-first rule covers the offline relaunch; the ?v= build
key the layout appends busts both per deploy.
scripts/generate-i18n-boot.mjs writes public/i18n/<locale>.js for all
six locales as a prebuild/predev step (the sw-version.js pattern);
output is gitignored. The route handler is removed.
Measured on a production build, authenticated DE session: dashboard
document 522 KB raw / 139 KB gz -> 170 KB raw / 24.6 KB gz; the DE
catalog moves into a one-time 119 KB gz cached asset.

A failed /api/auth/me now only counts as a session END on an explicit
401/403. Network-level failures (offline relaunch fetch TypeError, the
service worker's synthetic 503 offline envelope, abort/timeout) and 5xx
carry no session verdict: the hook holds the last-known auth state via a
non-sensitive localStorage marker instead of flipping unauthenticated.
Pre-fix, an airplane-mode relaunch of the installed PWA redirected to
/auth/login and ran clearCachesForSessionEnd(), wiping the SW data/page
caches and the IndexedDB query snapshot — the entire offline read path
was unreachable in exactly the scenario it exists for.
- use-auth: isAuthVerdictUnknown() classification, was-authenticated
marker (set on every successful /me, cleared on session end),
isAuthUnknown exposed for the shell
- auth-shell: the wipe runs only on a real verdict; a non-verdict
failure without a prior-session marker redirects without wiping
- explicit logout and true 401/403 expiry wipe exactly as before
H1
The Coach has extracted goal / if-then plan proposals since v1.21.3 —
written as status "proposed", never activated without the user — but no
surface ever showed them, so nothing could be confirmed and the active-plan
memory block stayed permanently empty. This lands the missing user half:
- Chat thread: proposal confirm cards at the tail of the open conversation
(proposals land asynchronously via the post-turn memory-refresh worker,
so the block slow-polls the proposed list while the thread is mounted and
only shows proposals born in that conversation). Accept activates the
plan — it enters the Coach's snapshot memory from the next turn on;
decline soft-deletes the proposal so it never activates and stops
counting against the per-user cap. A settled card collapses to a
one-line confirmation.
- /coach/plans: the management ledger, a sibling of /coach/conversations
reachable from the composer's + menu. Groups proposals (confirm /
decline), standing plans (goal met / end), and the settled history
(remove). No prose editor by design — the extractor is the only writer
of plan text and the PATCH contract only moves the lifecycle.
- Shared use-coach-plans hook + centralised coach-plans query keys, so the
thread cards and the page invalidate each other's reads.
- Both coach-gate invariants (operator master flag, per-user opt-out)
register the new page; i18n keys land in all six locales.
SSR tests pin the card contract: only same-conversation proposals render,
undecryptable rows are skipped, both actions are real buttons.
Reading matchMedia (or localStorage) inside the initial render branches
the hydration render away from the SSR markup — the sidebar is only
CSS-hidden below md and still hydrates its DOM there, so the phone
viewport tripped React #418 in the dashboard console guard. The
collapsed state now gates on the mounted probe like the module filter
above it: SSR and hydration paint the expanded shell, the stored pref
or tablet default applies right after. useIsMobile learns the lg cut
for the tablet probe.
The root QueryClient is created once and survives every client-side
navigation, so logout then login on the same browser left the previous
account's non-user-scoped health-data queries in memory and the next
account read them before any refetch landed. Wipe the entire in-memory
cache on logout, on session expiry, and at the start of a fresh login,
alongside the existing IndexedDB and service-worker cache wipe, so no
session ever inherits another account's data.
Add a per-user toggle that turns off the proactive ambient example suggestions
(the daily seeded opener on the Coach hero). The flag rides the existing coach
notification-prefs blob (coach.ambientSuggestions, default on) — no schema
change — and a shared hook makes it the single source every ambient suggestion
surface consults, so the seeded opener and its fetch both stand down when off.
Give each biomarker a detail page that matches the metric sub-pages: a
numbers-first Min/Max/Median/Mean strip over the numeric readings and a
data-grounded AI assessment card.
The assessment is served by a new read-only endpoint
GET /api/insights/biomarker-assessment?biomarkerId=&locale=, returning the
same envelope as /api/insights/metric-status so InsightStatusCard consumes
it unchanged. A new generator reads the marker's LabResult history and
reuses the shared provider runner, the stale-while-revalidate read-only
path, and the persist helper. Regeneration is gated on a fingerprint of the
latest reading, so the assessment is rebuilt only when a new reading lands;
an idle marker re-stamps the cached text without an LLM call. The
biomarker: scope rides the existing on-demand status queue.
The stat strip and the assessment card both self-gate on numeric data, so a
qualitative-only or brand-new marker paints neither.
Lift the byte-identical sortBy/sortDir/toggleSort triple the measurement
and mood lists each carried inline into a shared useTableSort hook. Both
lists now compose their page-reset and selection-clear side effects around
the hook's toggle rather than re-implementing the direction math, and the
date columns keep their descending-first default via descColumns.
Add a "Your reminders" panel under Settings → Coach that lists the stored
reminders, highlights the due ones, and gives the user view, confirm,
done/dismiss, and delete control over their own memory. Light the Coach
launcher dot when a reminder is due, alongside the existing nudge signal.
Add the generic confirm-card component for the suggested-action frame: a
plain-text preview with a localized per-action heading and a single confirm
tap that posts the validated params to the build endpoint.
Translate the new copy in English and German.
Accept dateFormat on the profile PATCH field-by-field, echo it from
the profile + /me reads, mirror it into the client auth user, and add
the field to the OpenAPI request/response schemas.
One-shot prettier pass so the new format:check gate starts from a clean
baseline. Formatting only — no behaviour change. Generator-owned and
vendored artifacts stay untouched via .prettierignore.
Replace the per-page and per-chart disclaimer banners with a single
acknowledgment at the start of onboarding: HealthLog is a private tracking
tool, not a clinical assessment or diagnosis; talk to a doctor if worried.
- record the acknowledgment per user (disclaimer_acknowledged_at/_version,
migration 0175) mirroring the research-mode acknowledgment precedent
- gate the welcome "Get started" on the checkbox; expose the timestamp on
/api/auth/me so a returning user is never re-asked
- keep the full legal text reachable on the public privacy page
Add nullable onboarding_tour_progress_json to users (migration 0173),
a Zod-validated progress shape, and extend POST /api/onboarding/tour to
accept a mid-tour resume checkpoint and clear it on replay. Surface the
resume point on GET /api/auth/me and register the contract in OpenAPI so
the native client mirrors it.
The offline layer wrote far too much to disk and cleared it too rarely.
The query persister used a denylist (only auth/session/admin/tokens), so
every other family — coach, insights, illness, labs, mood, cycle — was
dehydrated to IndexedDB in plaintext; the service worker likewise
prefix-cached GET /api/insights, which serves decrypted Coach
conversations. Neither store carried an account marker and both were
wiped only on explicit logout, so a session that ended by expiry or a
401 left health data on disk for the next account on a shared profile.
Flip the persister to a strict allowlist (dashboard snapshot, per-chart
series, widget layout — the offline-dashboard set only) and stamp each
payload with the live account id, discarding on mismatch. Drop
/api/insights and /api/analytics from the worker allowlist. Wipe the
IndexedDB blob and the data/page caches on every session end — the
401/expiry redirect and the logout path both route through one helper.
An installed PWA opened offline rendered empty skeletons forever: the
service worker hard-excluded every /api/* path and there was no client
query persistence. Close both gaps for read value.
Service worker: add a stale-while-revalidate branch for an allowlist of
safe GET /api/* reads (dashboard snapshot + widgets, measurements,
medications, insights, analytics, version) in a release-versioned
healthlog-data cache. Two-layer refusal — a path deny guard for any
auth/token/session/login segment plus a body-level secret refusal for
hlk_/hlr_/sk- shapes and no-store responses — so a secret-shaped body or
an auth surface can never be persisted. Mutations stay network-only.
Client: add a dependency-free IndexedDB query persister that hydrates the
last successful reads before the first authenticated paint, build-version
and age gated, debounced on cache change, with an auth/session/admin/token
denylist. Cleared on logout alongside the SW page and data caches so a
shared device never leaks one account's data.
Offline banner now states it is showing last-synced data when a cached
snapshot is present. Bump release to v1.18.6.
Twice-daily BP protocol (RRULE BYHOUR=7,19) now fires at every clock
hour: byHourTimesOfDay expands BYHOUR into the engine's timesOfDay so
the label, RRULE, and engine output agree instead of collapsing to one
nudge at notifyHour.
Vorsorge surface:
- move create/edit into a ResponsiveSheet with a pinned Cancel/Save
footer, matching Labs/Illness/Medications
- wire the unused PATCH support: Edit affordance opens the form
pre-filled; an enable/disable Switch drives the enabled flag
- translate COACH-origin labels (the row stores an i18n key, not prose)
and render a neutral Coach provenance badge + an until-<date> line
- surface origin + endsOn on the hook type
- pull-to-refresh + always-on rationale documented on the nav entry
- NativeSelect-vs-Radix choice documented as deliberate
Coach:
- expired COACH course-window reminders self-clean: the cron tick
soft-deletes finished finite cadences instead of leaving dead rows
- accept-dedup gains a partial unique index (user, metric) where
origin=COACH and not deleted, with a P2002 catch in the route
- per-user rate-limit bucket on the suggestion-action endpoint
- SUGGEST-REMINDER parser keeps prose written after the block
- document POST /api/coach/reminder-suggestions in OpenAPI
Coach chrome:
- HistoryRail hideHeading prop drops the duplicate Conversations
heading on the page surface
- align the rail-tray strip inset to px-3 sm:px-4 so the dividers line
up; reword the FAB inset comment
satisfyReminder closes the forward-only TOCTOU via a conditional
updateMany (count===0 no-op). Migration headers corrected to v1.18.1.
The sleep, blood-glucose, workouts, and recovery insights pages
fetched their series and half-rendered when the backing module was
disabled — a disabled account that navigated straight to the URL saw
the surface flash before any guard. They now resolve a shared
useModulePageGuard hook (mirroring the cycle page): an unauthenticated
visitor bounces to login, a disabled-module account bounces to
/insights, and the page renders a calm loader until the gate clears.
The backing /api routes enforce the gate server-side, so this is the
UX layer, not the security boundary.
The Module hub rendered live switches for the delegated keys cycle and coach,
but the gate resolves those from their own sources (cycle from CycleProfile,
coach from the operator flag + disableCoach), so a toggle wrote an inert entry
to modulePreferencesJson, snapped back, and still fired a success toast. Render
delegated modules as read-only rows that deep-link to their real control, strip
delegated keys from the modules PATCH schema so no inert value is stored, drop
the duplicate cycle control, and surface an operator-disabled state with the
previously orphaned hint string.
The Personal Health Score weighted the 0.20 mood-stability pillar
unconditionally — the fast-path read mood entries regardless of the
account's module state, so a user who turned the mood module off was
still scored (and silently penalised or rewarded) by a pillar hidden
everywhere else in the product. The dashboard already blanks the mood
tile and the coach snapshot unions mood out; the score ring and the
insights card pillar list did not.
Thread a default-on `moodEnabled` flag through the fast-path. When the
caller resolves the mood module as disabled the helper skips the mood
read entirely and leaves the series empty, so `moodStability` returns
null and the existing proportional null-redistribution re-scales the
surviving pillars to sum to 100. The analytics route resolves the
module server-side and threads the flag; the insights card hides the
Mood row via a new SSR-safe `useModuleEnabled` accessor so it never
advertises a pillar the account turned off.
Golden fixtures pin mood-on vs mood-off to different, correctly
re-weighted scores and assert the disabled read is never issued.

When an account turns the achievements module off the whole gamification
surface disappears. The route enforces the gate after auth and returns the
403 module.disabled envelope, so no badge evaluation, unlock persistence,
or payload is produced. The achievements page, the dashboard recent-unlocks
tile, and the unlock notifier read the resolved module map from
GET /api/auth/me and render nothing / disable their query when the module
is off. Default-on: an absent key reads as enabled, a stale /me payload
coerces to an empty map so no surface vanishes on a partial-deploy
rollback.
Generalise the per-destination cycle gate into a requiresModule marker
on each nav destination and read it from the account's resolved module
map (the modules field on GET /api/auth/me). Fold the bespoke cycle
boolean into requiresModule: "cycle" so there is one gating mechanism;
cycle and coach are delegated keys already reflected in the map, so
reading them here is not a re-derivation.
Tag mood, cycle, labs, coach and achievements with their module keys;
core destinations (measurements, medications, vorsorge, insights, the
dashboard) carry none and always render. The sidebar, the mobile More
hub, and the Insights tab strip all filter on the same map.
Insights pills: a metric pill belonging to a toggleable module (mood,
sleep, glucose, workouts) hides when its module is disabled, on top of
the existing data + saved-layout gates; the Recovery pill gates on the
recovery module. Overview and core-metric pills always show. Every gate
fails open — a missing key or an absent map keeps the entry, matching
the gate's default-on contract, so a stale /me payload never blanks the
nav.
Add the Vorsorge page and section: an upcoming-reminders list sorted by
server-computed next-due, with a create form (measurement-linked or
free-text, cadence, notify hour, location) and a per-card Erledigt and
delete action. Cards stay neutral-coloured regardless of due state — the
status reads through a discreet badge only, never an alarming tint. Copy
ships in all six locales.
Now that the service worker is registered app-wide, cached navigation
HTML survives a logout. The everyday routes carry no server-rendered PII,
but on a shared device a clean session boundary should leave nothing in
CacheStorage. On a successful logout, best-effort delete the
`healthlog-pages-*` caches. The static cache (hashed chunks, icons) is
left intact so the next login does not re-download the shell. The wipe
never blocks the redirect to the login page.
The update poller and the chunk-error reload guard key on the target
version instead of disarming for the whole session, so a second deploy
re-arms the self-heal and a stale shell can no longer strand with
404ing chunks. Lazy chart imports retry once and mount inside a
per-card error boundary with a reload affordance — a failed chunk
degrades to one card instead of replacing the page. The JSON API
client attaches a fifteen-second timeout unless the caller brings its
own signal (the raw streaming path is exempt), chart queries surface
errors with a retry instead of rendering as an empty period, per-type
fetch failures reject instead of caching an empty series as fresh, and
the session and snapshot queries retry once on transient network or
server errors.
Server and first client render now agree everywhere query state used to
leak into the chrome, checkboxes no longer nest inside buttons, delete
confirmations admit the undo they offer, raw step counts drop their
decimals, the truncated unit label wraps instead, streaks know their
singular, the medication header speaks the user's date format, a failed
coach turn keeps the user's message and says what went wrong, settings
status notes follow a language switch, the locale only flips once its
bundle actually loaded, and the last raw api fetches in hooks move onto
the shared client.
A typed apiFetch wrapper owns the envelope unwrap, the ok-check and the
error read for every client call — two hundred call sites across the
app migrate onto it and a lint rule keeps raw api fetches out for good.
The legacy timezone helpers fold into the tz module and test fixtures
drop personal names.
An intake can carry the dose that was actually taken — editable in the
quick-add and log dialogs, shown as a quiet deviation line in the
history. The measurements and mood lists refresh by pull on touch, the
insight sub-pages gain the same customize entry as the overview, and an
answered coach follow-up offers to adopt the answer into the matching
self-context field.
The clock format followed the UI language with no way out — an English
interface forced AM/PM everywhere. A new profile preference (automatic,
24-hour, 12-hour) feeds every formatter through the shared locale
context, persists on the user row and rides the profile endpoints. The
insight pill list in settings gains the same eye toggle the overview
tiles have, so ordering and visibility live in one place; the page-side
'manage detail pages' block folds into a link there. Includes the
locale bundles for both features and the regenerated API contract.
