feat(rollups): collapse overlapping sources across all read paths
Complete the source-aware rollup read path: the slim summaries slice (rollup + live), the comprehensive aggregator (both paths, including the dailyByType correlation feed), and the /api/measurements route (rollup read + the live date_trunc fallback) now resolve overlapping sources to the source-priority ladder's canonical reading per (type, day) before aggregating. A dual-source vital (e.g. WHOOP + Apple Watch resting heart rate) surfaces one canonical series instead of a blend or a doubled count; cumulative metrics keep summing per canonical source. The collapse runs in SQL where the aggregate must stay a single round-trip (buildSourceRankCase emits a per-user ladder-rank CASE; canonicalMeasurementsFrom restricts a live read to canonical-source rows) and in application code (collapseRollupRowsBySource) for the row readers, both driven by the same resolved ladders so live and rollup agree. Also widens the enum-literal SQL whitelist to accept digits so VO2_MAX no longer throws on the typed write-hook recompute or the rank CASE. feat(insights): time-range pills with period-over-period deltas on metric pages
Add a 7d / 30d / 90d / 1y segmented control to every HealthKit metric page, between the stat strip and the chart, with a sentiment-coloured "vs prior period" delta caption beside it. New route GET /api/analytics/range?type=<MeasurementType>&range=<7d|30d|90d|1y> returns the current-window aggregate, the previous comparable window, and the composed delta. Single metric type by construction, so the read is one rollup-tier call covering the trailing 2N days sliced into the two halves — no per-type fan-out, no Prisma-pool burst. Reuses the WMY readers (readBestGranularityRollups + aggregateWmyBuckets) and the two-window pattern the year-ago baseline already uses; count/min/max/mean/sum compose across buckets, SD/slope/r2 stay out (not composable). The cached summaries slice is untouched so the hottest dashboard cache key never fragments. The delta caption reuses the dashboard's metric-aware up-good/up-bad colour logic — extracted from trend-card into a shared trend-sentiment module — with the metric's good direction sourced from the metric-status registry (target-band metrics render neutral, matching deviation framing). When the prior window has no data the caption shows "no prior-period data" rather than a misleading 0%. The range choice persists across metrics via a localStorage seam and defaults to 30d so nothing regresses. Cache keyed per (type, range) through the query-key factory. perf(analytics): default slice delegates to slim rollup-tier reader (v1.4.49.1)
v1.4.49 shipped the slim-slice cold-fallback fix but the production HAR on the new image still showed `GET /api/analytics` at 8 s cold AND the supposedly-fixed `?slice=summaries` request hit the same 8 s when fired concurrently. Investigation found the slim slice queues behind the default slice's per-type live walk: the 15-way `fetchMeasurementSeriesChunked` fan-out saturates the `p-limit(4)` lanes and packs the 20-slot Prisma pool for the full ~8 s on Marc's 467 745-row tenant, starving every other Prisma client (including the concurrent slim slice) until the walk drains. The default slice's `summaries` field has been produceable from the rollup tier for two releases — the slim slice already uses `computeFromRollups` + a 90-day narrow `$queryRaw` and returns the identical `DataSummary` shape sub-second. The walk lived on because two thick-only fields (`anomalyCount`, `avg30LastMonth`) only existed on the live path. A grep of every consumer in the repo confirmed: - `anomalyCount`: no consumer reads it from `/api/analytics`. The insights pipeline pulls it from its own `comprehensive-aggregator` narrow query. Slim's `0` constant is what the default route's consumers already received. - `avg30LastMonth`: read by `src/app/page.tsx:321` (dashboard comparison tile) and `src/components/insights/vo2-max-chart-row.tsx`. Easy to lift: extend the slim narrow `$queryRaw` with one extra FILTER clause for `[30d, 60d)` — the rows are already inside the 90-day outer cap so the planner reads zero additional blocks. With both fields covered, `buildAnalyticsResponse` calls `computeSummariesSlice(user.id)` once and uses its `summaries` + `lastSeenByType` directly. The 15-way fan-out, the chunked walker, the `ANALYTICS_TYPE_FETCH_CONCURRENCY` p-limit cap, the 425-day `since` window, and the `meta.analytics.bp_aggregate` annotate all delete cleanly — none had callers outside the removed code path. Net diff: -418 LOC across the route + its tests. Test updates: - `route.test.ts`: dropped the 130k-row PULSE stress test (was pinning V8's spread-arg ceiling on the now-deleted JS-side loop) and the `caps per-type Prisma fan-out at ANALYTICS_TYPE_FETCH_CONCURRENCY` test (the cap is gone). Added a negative assertion that `prisma.measurement.findMany` is never called with the chunked-walk shape `(select.id + source + deviceType, take: 5000)` and a positive assertion that `avg30LastMonth` reaches the response envelope. - `since-cap.test.ts`: dropped the `where.measuredAt.gte` per-type assertion and the `bp_aggregate.live_since` annotation assertion (both pinned the removed walk). The slim-slice no-per-type-loop invariant survives. Final: 5268 unit + integration tests pass, zero failures, lint clean, typecheck clean. |

chore(release): v1.4.49 — audit-backlog closure + server reminder suppression + diagnostic endpoint + analytics cold-path fix
Bundles the deferred v1.4.47 Mediums + Lows with the v1.4.48-deferred items into a single release. Headline: server-side suppression of MEDICATION_REMINDER APNs for iOS clients that own their local reminders (closes GH #206), a push_attempts table backing /api/admin/notifications/diagnostic, and a sweep of v1.4.48 QA forward-findings. Performance (the user-visible win): - /api/analytics cold-fallback path splits the heavy single-statement aggregate into two parallel queries. The linearly composable columns (count / min / max / mean) keep the full-partition scan; the windowed 7 / 30 / 90-day avg / slope / r² columns take a 90-day outer cap so the planner does an index range scan on (user_id, type, measured_at) instead of a full-partition sequential scan. Output is bit-identical; cold slim slice drops from multi-second to sub-second on tenants with large measurement partitions. Server-side notifications: - GET + PATCH /api/auth/me/notification-prefs with deep-merge semantics. Initial category medication.clientManaged: boolean (default false). Cron medicationReminderJob skips dose-due APNs when the flag is true, emitting a medication_reminder.suppressed_client_managed wide-event annotation per skip. - push_attempts table backs the diagnostic endpoint. Every APNS / Web-Push / Telegram / NTFY sender writes a fire-and-forget row. Daily 03:35 Europe/Berlin cleanup prunes rows older than 90 days. - /api/admin/notifications/diagnostic — admin-only endpoint surfacing device APNs token presence (masked), channel config presence, and recent push attempts. Registered in OpenAPI. - Per-channel APNs "Send test" button now fires with eventType: "MEDICATION_REMINDER" so the dispatcher's time-sensitive + priority-10 branch runs. A successful self-test now exercises the exact path production reminders take; an unsuccessful one points the user at iOS Settings → Time Sensitive Notifications rather than appearing to be a server-side bug. Withings reliability: - OAuth callback consumes the nonce atomically (delete-first with P2025 catch for the replay branch). The previous read-then-delete pattern allowed a race between two concurrent callbacks. - ?reason=state redirect differentiated into csrf1 / replay / expired / cross_user so operators can tell mismatch types apart without DB shell access. - connect endpoint rate-limited to 10/60s/user; row-create failures redirect to a consistent error surface. Observability hardening: - redactSensitiveFields(body) denylist helper covers password / token / secret / apiKey / authorization / csrfState / nonce, recursive, case-insensitive. Caught: /api/devices invalid_format issues were echoing apnsToken values verbatim into the audit log. - sanitiseZodIssues(issues, { stripValuesFromMessage: true }) overload applied to 14 audit-log sites. Migrations: 0079 (notification_prefs), 0080 (push_attempts). Tests: 4815 → 5272 unit + integration. Workout-batch integration suite that had been red on main since v1.4.45 (three release commits shipped through it) now green again — updated to match v1.4.42 cross-source dedup semantics. Resolves PR #207. |

chore(release): v1.4.40 — comprehensive Critical+High architecture closure plus iOS PB30 enablement
Eleven touch-disjoint waves landed on develop plus a six-axis QA reconcile round before tagging. See CHANGELOG.md for the user-facing prose; this commit message documents the wave + report inventory for release-management traceability. Waves shipped (each with a phase report under .planning/): - phase-W-POOL-v1440-report.md — p-limit(4) wrapper around the analytics 15-way fan-out + pg.Pool max raised 10 -> 20. Closes the v1.4.39 empirical-trace finding #1 (Prisma pool starvation). - phase-W-DELETED-v1440-report.md — 11 reader-tier helpers + 3 integration contracts close audit Critical Finding #3 (soft-delete invisibility) across dashboard, analytics, summaries, rollup tiers, and the Coach snapshot path. - phase-W-INSIGHTS-v1440-report.md — mood-rollup swap on the three /api/insights/{features,targets,cards} routes plus the compliance-rollup hook gap closure for bulk-projection mints; the post-QA reconcile patch closes the six remaining measurement.findMany sites in the cluster that still leaked tombstoned rows. - phase-W-INFRA-v1440-report.md — rollup helper umbrella consolidation under src/lib/rollups/* with zero orphan re-exports; lint, typecheck, knip, and 93/93 rollup tests green post-restructure. - phase-W-RSC-v1440-report.md — per-tile Suspense boundaries plus the queryKey factory-bypass walker test (extended to comparison/ in the reconcile pass). - phase-W-PRIVACY-v1440-report.md — bilingual /privacy page with 17 paired-section tests pinning the 9 SB-3 disclosure requirements. - phase-W-AASA-v1440-report.md — /.well-known/apple-app-site-association endpoint pinned to S8WDX4W5KX.dev.healthlog.app with app-ID parity assertions guarding against split rotation. - phase-W-APNS-NOTIFY-v1440-report.md — MEDICATION_REMINDER time-sensitive APNs payload (priority 10 + interruption-level) scoped via a parameterised test that pins all 6 other event-types do not bypass Focus. AP-2 .p8 install gates real delivery. - phase-W-CONSENT-v1440-report.md — AI consent receipts CRUD with append-only invariant pinned in test; revoke-then-regrant leaves both rows; idempotent DELETE returns 200 + receipt: null. - phase-W-WMY-WIRE-v1440-report.md — three previously-dead WMY readers (week/month/year) wired through summaries-slice and health-score-fast-path with a linear-composability parity test pinning the cross-consumer routing contract. - phase-W-GHOSTS-v1440-report.md — ~1 177 lines of dead code removed across 9 atomic commits; startOfUtcDay + wallClockInTz consolidation eliminates a sibling-drift risk; knip whitelist trimmed to three files pending follow-up. QA reconcile patches applied per the v1.4.40 QA round (six reports under .planning/round-v1440-QA-*-findings.md): - senior C1 — dashboard-suspense-boundaries regex aligned with the post-W-INFRA Thread 2 userTimezone-local lift. - senior H1 — soft-delete filter added to the six remaining insights measurement.findMany sites. - specialist H1 — Promise.allSettled around bulk-projection compliance recompute on both /api/medications/intake and /api/dashboard/summary. - ux H1 — compare-toggle migrated to queryKeys.dashboardWidgets factory; walker test extended to src/components/comparison/. - security M1 — consent artefact 64 KB cap enforced via Buffer.byteLength (UTF-8 bytes, not UTF-16 code units). Quality gates green at tag: pnpm typecheck, pnpm lint, pnpm knip --include files, dependencies, binaries, unlisted, pnpm test --run (4726 passing / 1 skipped). Tests 4525 -> 4726 unit + 1 skipped over the v1.4.39 -> v1.4.40 span. User-facing prose: see CHANGELOG.md. |

chore(release): v1.4.39 — mood, medication-compliance, and cumulative-sum rollup tiers
Squashed merge of the v1.4.39 wave work from develop. The release extends the v1.4.38 fast-path posture to two more endpoints that still walked the source table on every cold mount and folds a cumulative `sum_value` column into the existing rollup tier so step / flight / distance / daylight / active-energy sparklines no longer re-derive their daily totals in Node. Raw measurements / mood_entries / medication_intake_events tables are byte-unchanged. Three new tiers (mood_entry_rollups, medication_compliance_rollups, measurement_rollups.sum_value) are derived caches that self-heal via boot-time backfill on first reach. Migrations 0070, 0071, 0072 are additive only. The sum_value column add is catalog-only DDL on PostgreSQL 11+ — no table rewrite, writes resume in milliseconds. No environment-variable change. No API contract break. No iOS contract change. Expected wins (live perf-verify rides the post-deploy window): - /api/mood/analytics cold 12.7 s -> ~200 ms - /api/medications/intake?scope=compliance cold 3.2 s -> ~200 ms - /api/dashboard/summary cumulative sparkline ~500 ms -> ~300 ms - /api/analytics live-fallback row cap 347 k -> ~5 k (425 d cap preserves the year-ago baseline tile) Tests 4 524 -> 4 640 (+116). Typecheck clean. Lint clean. See CHANGELOG.md for the full v1.4.39 entry. |

v1.4.37.1 — event-loop unblock on the read path
Hotfix on top of v1.4.37. The post-deploy verify caught /api/analytics cold-mount hits of ~62 s and parallel /api/health checks of ~58 s on the live instance, far above the v1.4.37 1.5-3 s perf claim. Root cause: the synchronous ensureUserRollupsFresh(userId) call at the top of each heavy read path folds the trailing 90-day DAY window when the rollup watermark trails the newest measurement. On a power-user account whose iOS step samples push the watermark every few minutes, each cache miss synchronously paid the full refresh cost on a Node worker that also serves the rest of the request fan-out (including /api/health, /api/version, and concurrent iOS calls), and the event loop was blocked for the duration of the recompute. Convert the three call sites (analytics route, comprehensive aggregator, summaries slice) to fire-and-forget. The downstream probeRollupCoverage gate falls back to live SQL on partial coverage so correctness is preserved; the only user-observable change is one cache window of staleness on the very first request after a new measurement landed. |

v1.4.37 — final web polish before iOS focus
Carries the v1.4.36 perf carry-over for the full /api/analytics route (correlations + healthScore + bp_in_target on the rollup- coverage probe, 111s cold worst-case down to ~1.5-3s on power-user accounts), consolidates Apple Health step samples into a one-row- per-day list view with chevron drill-down and a nightly drain (~50x table compression once it converges), restores IntakeHistoryListV2 to the pre-v1.4.28 contract, converges every Coach affordance behind a single feature gate with an invariant test pin, lifts the medication-detail Mounjaro card to byte- equivalent parity with Ramipril, brings the Insights overview hero row to height parity, hardens getClientIp behind a new TRUST_CF_CONNECTING_IP env flag, ships the Arztbericht hero card on Settings -> Export, adds the Medikamenteneinnahme quick-add overlay to the dashboard, drops the timezone override toggle for a silent browser-zone auto-seed, and fixes the v1.4.36 red CI workflows. Documentation refreshed across all three repos with five new architecture diagrams in the Dracula palette. Unit suite 4354 -> 4486 passing; typecheck + lint clean. |

v1.4.36 — perf, charts, AI payload trim, UX punch
Heavy-aggregate skip on the rollup-fresh + fully-covered path, daily chart fetches opt into rollup buckets via source=rollup, Insights extractFeatures swap drops the prompt payload from double-digit MB to the low hundreds of kB on power-user accounts, page-level isLoading gate replaced with per-section early-skeleton paint, trends-row chart slot pinned for CLS, IntakeHistoryListV2 restored on the medication detail page, About card folded into the Admin Console with an auto-checking update badge, cumulative metric tiles read the day's running sum, IP-whois fallback surfaces city + country when the ASN lookup misses. Migration 0068 adds an additive users.insights_exclude_metrics column. Unit suite 4354 passing; typecheck + lint clean. |

v1.4.35 — persistent measurement rollups + partial read-swap
Foundation release for the persistent measurement_rollups cache tier. Adds the additive table + enum, populates it from every measurement write hook, lands the Apple-Health-import end-of-job backfill, and ships the parity-checked read-swap on two reader surfaces. The comprehensive insights aggregator and the slim analytics summaries slice now source count / min / max / mean per type from the DAY rollup buckets via aggregateBuckets, plus the comprehensive dailyByType correlation feed straight from the bucket means. Slope / R² / standard deviation / anomaly counts stay on live SQL — they do not compose across DAY buckets. A defensive parity check against the live aggregate's COUNT(*) falls back to live SQL when divergence is detected. Includes the new scripts/backfill-rollups.ts CLI for the one-shot fold of historical measurements into all four granularities. Tests: 4280 unit + 228 integration. tsc + lint clean. Migration 0067_v1434_measurement_rollups is idempotent under re-run. |

v1.4.34 — apple-health import + reliability + web-freeze
The final functional web release before the iOS native client lands.
Headline work: a streaming Apple Health `export.zip` importer for
prospective iOS-migrating accounts, a server-side aggregation cache
that collapses the three hottest dashboard reads onto in-process LRU
slots with single-flight coalescing and per-user invalidation, a
broader compliance classifier with a dedicated `early` bucket so
ahead-of-window doses count as compliant, the Coach launch surface
hoisted onto every authed page with a dashboard-hero CTA, and a
trimmer Settings shelf that folds Sources into Targets. The release
also lights up the `cache.<name>.outcome` annotation on the active
wide event so production logs carry the cache hit-ratio signal
without leaking userIds.
### Added
- **Server-side aggregation cache.** A new `ServerCache<T>` primitive
(`src/lib/cache/server-cache.ts`) extends the v1.4.33 Coach snapshot
LRU shape into a reusable per-route layer with TTL expiry,
capacity-bounded LRU eviction, single-flight read coalescing, and
per-instance hit / miss / eviction / stampede counters. Wires the
three hottest dashboard reads — `/api/analytics` (slim + default),
`/api/gamification/achievements`, `/api/medications/intake?scope=compliance`
— and bolts per-user invalidation onto every measurement / mood /
medication / workout / dashboard-widget write endpoint so the next
read paints fresh data instead of waiting out the TTL. Every cache
hit / miss surfaces on the active wide event as
`cache.<name>.outcome` + `cache.<name>.key_hash` so production logs
carry the hit-ratio signal without leaking userIds.
- **Apple Health `export.zip` import.** New endpoint
`POST /api/import/apple-health-export` (synchronous multipart
upload, asynchronous ingest via a dedicated pg-boss
`apple-health-import` worker, per-`MeasurementType` ingestion
stats). Streams the upload straight to disk so a multi-gigabyte
export never lands in V8 heap, hashes the bytes inline for
content-based idempotency, and unpacks `apple_health_export/export.xml`
with a hand-rolled ZIP central-directory walker that handles Zip64
for archives past the 4 GB barrier. The parser folds every
`<Record>`, `<Workout>`, `<Correlation>`, and `<ClinicalRecord>`
into the existing `Measurement` and `Workout` row shapes — spot
rows keyed by `HKMetadataKeyExternalUUID` (or a deterministic
`sample:<sha256>` fallback), cumulative HK types collapsed into
one `stats:<HKType>:<YYYY-MM-DD>` row per user-local day to match
the iOS daily-aggregation convention. Live per-stage progress
surfaces through `GET /api/import/apple-health-export/{jobId}/status`.
An admin variant at `POST /api/admin/import-apple-health-export`
imports on behalf of a target user (cookie-only `requireAdmin()`
gate; Bearer tokens never elevate).
- **`ImportJob` schema model + migration.** New Prisma model captures
the per-upload state machine (`queued | unpacking | parsing |
upserting | done | failed`), the content-hash for idempotency
short-circuits, and the per-`MeasurementType` ingestion counters
the status route surfaces back to the client.
- **`lastSeenByType` on `/api/analytics`.** Both the slim
(`?slice=summaries`) and default slices return a per-type
`{ lastSeenAt, daysAgo }` map. The dashboard trend tiles wire 12
mounts to a new `tileStaleDays()` helper so an "X days / weeks /
months ago" hint paints under any per-metric tile whose last
sample crosses the 7-day floor. Six locales gained additive
week / month plural keys; Polish uses the genitive-plural form
that covers every non-1 count the bucket math can produce.
- **Dashboard "Ask the coach" hero CTA.** A new pill next to the
existing "Hinzufügen" / "Add" launches the Coach drawer directly
from the dashboard hero. The `<CoachLaunchProvider>` hoisted from
the insights layout to the auth shell so the drawer is reachable
from every authed route; the floating action button stays scoped
to `/insights/**` so it cannot distract on the dashboard.
- **Shared achievements query hook.** `useAchievementsQuery()`
centralises the three previous consumers — recent-achievements
card, the `/achievements` mother page, and the unlock notifier —
onto one TanStack queryKey + cache slot so dashboard cold mount
fires the endpoint once instead of twice.
- **Typed authed Cache-Control presets.** New
`src/lib/http/cache-headers.ts` module exports
`NO_STORE_BUT_BFCACHE = "private, max-age=0, must-revalidate"`,
`SHORT_LIVED_PUBLIC`, and an `applyAuthedHeaders()` helper. The
presets land at the framework level via a `next.config.ts`
`headers()` rule that stamps the bfcache-friendly directive on
every authed HTML response, restoring Chromium bfcache eligibility
for in-app back / forward navigation.
- **`scripts/print-bundle-report.mjs`.** Restores the at-a-glance
"top client chunks by parsed size" signal Turbopack dropped from
`next build`; reads `.next/analyze/client.json` (written by
`@next/bundle-analyzer` when `pnpm analyze` runs with `ANALYZE=1`)
and prints a sorted table plus totals.
### Changed
- **Settings sidebar: "Sources" folded into "Targets & Sources".**
Per-metric threshold ranges and per-metric source priority now
share one `/settings/thresholds` page so the same metric's
threshold and device-source preference sit together instead of
one sidebar entry away. `/settings/sources` keeps a
`permanentRedirect` so external bookmarks and docs links follow
through unchanged. Section count: 11 → 10.
- **Insights tab strip: vital pills collapse under a "Vitals"
parent.** Five vital pills (HRV, Resting HR, Oxygen, Body
Temperature, Active Energy) hide behind one parent pill that
opens a popover sub-list. Parent-pill active state mirrors the
URL so spatial orientation survives the collapse; each sub-page
keeps its own URL and bookmark resolves unchanged. Strip
footprint: 14 → 10 entries when every metric has data.
- **Coolify env-var audit.** `mcp__coolify-apps01__env_vars`
inspection captured the section-1 / section-2 duplicates that
have accumulated under apps-01 since v1.3.1. Audit pinned at
`.planning/round-v1434-iwa-coolify-env-audit.md`; no env-var
deletes performed (operator action).
### Fixed
- **Compliance classifier: early intakes count as compliant.** The
classifier picked up a dedicated `early` bucket (window-start
minus three hours through window-start), the `on_time` post-window
tolerance widened from one hour to three hours, and the `late`
band sits between the new `on_time` ceiling and the configurable
`lateMinutes` knob. Heatmap consumers route the new bucket
through the compliant path; the dedicated `early` counter rides
on `DailyComplianceEntry` for downstream consumers that want to
distinguish ahead-of-window from on-window intakes.
- **Compliance heatmap fallback retired.** The v1.4.33 defensive
`looksClassifierBug` fallthrough is gone now that the underlying
classifier widening removes the every-dose-very-late mode the
fallback covered.
### Performance
- **`/api/gamification/achievements` consumer collapse.** Two of
three previous consumers shared the same TanStack queryKey
literal; the third carried a per-user discriminator so the cache
treated it as a fresh slot. Dashboard cold mount fired the
endpoint twice. Collapsing onto the shared hook trims that to a
single request; with the new server-side cache slot warm, the
duplicate-mount worst case rides single-flight coalescing.
- **GHCR build fires once per release tag.** The
`docker-publish.yml` workflow lost its `push.branches: [main]`
trigger; the `:latest` raw-tag enable rule moved onto the tag
ref so each release produces exactly one multi-arch build that
refreshes both the semver tags and the `:latest` alias.
- **NFT-trace warnings silenced.** `next.config.ts` gained an
`outputFileTracingExcludes` block that narrows the Turbopack
tracer away from the `MAXMIND_LICENSE_KEY` env-access path so
the trace-report no longer warns on every dependent route file.
### Refactor
- **Dashboard analytics consumers.** The two cards that previously
decided their own freshness copy now lean on the typed
`tileStaleDays()` helper and the additive `lastSeenByType` field
on the analytics response. Mood and BD-Zielbereich tiles keep the
default `null` because they have no underlying per-type freshness
signal.
### Accessibility
- **Dashboard hero CTA hits the WCAG 2.5.5 touch-target floor.**
The new "Ask the coach" pill carries `min-h-11` on mobile and
the matching `sm:min-h-9` desktop floor so the touch target
stays above 44 px on the Pixel 5 boundary.
- **Insights tab-strip Vitals parent reads correctly to assistive
tech.** Parent pill carries `aria-current="page"` whenever the
current URL matches one of its child vital sub-pages, plus a
`data-slot="insights-tab-strip-group"` hook for visual-regression
testing.
### Internal
- **Two e2e flake windows tightened.** `onboarding-flicker` swapped
its 12-sample 50 ms poll loop for a single Playwright
auto-retrying `toBeHidden({ timeout: 700 })` assertion so the
1-2 ms race window between the analytics-pending shell and
`useAuth().user` resolving collapses to a single retry slot.
`mobile-viewport` dropped `nav a[href]` from the touch-target
sweep (the bottom-nav owns its own WCAG spec) and gated the
44-px floor on `matchMedia('(min-width: 640px)').matches === false`
so the Pixel 5 viewport never tripped into the `sm:` tier during
WebKit render commits.
- **Server-cache observability.** Every `cached()` invocation passes
an `annotate` callback that lands two keys on the wide event:
`cache.<name>.outcome` ∈ `{ hit | miss | stampede }` and
`cache.<name>.key_hash` (non-reversible djb2 32-bit hash). Ops
can grep `cache.analytics.outcome` over any time window to
compute the hit ratio per deployment.
- **AASA followups verified.** The v1.4.33 `/.well-known/apple-app-site-association`
handler serves a direct 200 on every fronting origin; Apple's
CDN has ingested matching bodies for all three domains.
### Web freeze
v1.4.34 marks the last functional release of the web codebase before
the iOS native client launches. Subsequent v1.4.x tags carry security
fixes, dependency bumps, and hotfix-only corrections. New feature work
is paused until the iOS app clears Apple review, at which point a
v1.5.0 version-bump-only release tags the milestone. The Prisma

decision-log row pin the freeze trigger in-tree.

v1.4.33 — polish and reliability
Quality-leap release between two HealthKit milestones. The headline is a P0 hotfix for the `/api/analytics` 500 that broke the Insights mother page for any account with more than a few thousand measurements: the six per-metric status helpers were spreading the entire numeric history into `Math.min` / `Math.max`, which trips a stack overflow once a single argument list exceeds the V8 spread cap. Both the surfaced symptom and the latent risk in five sibling helpers were folded onto a reduce-based min/max path. Around that hotfix landed a deep polish pass: the Insights mother page now defers three below-the-fold blocks behind `next/dynamic` to trim the cold mount cost, the analytics endpoint gained a `?slice=summaries` slim slice that the per-metric sub-pages now ride, the Coach snapshot builder picked up a 60 s LRU keyed on `(userId, scope)`, the Settings shell consolidated three duplicate copies of the about / notifications / about-dropdown surfaces, the navigation strip dropped a redundant "Home" group label and a colliding "Notifications" sibling, every icon-only button on the medications and admin surfaces gained an accessible name, every Progress bar gained one too, three pages had their heading hierarchy repaired to a sequential h1 → h2 → h3, the mobile Coach FAB now hides while a chart tooltip is open so it cannot occlude the read-out, and the auth shell normalised every authenticated route to a single `max-w-screen-xl` container. Also lands the Apple App Site Association handler at `/.well-known/apple-app-site-association` on every host that fronts the app, advertising the iOS bundle's App ID prefix (S8WDX4W5KX.dev.healthlog.app) under `webcredentials.apps` so the passkey ceremony shares cleanly between the web origin and the iOS app. The release closes nineteen issues from a five-surface audit + a runtime bug-hunt pass, plus six follow-up tracks of polish across the affected surfaces. |

chore(release): v1.4.29
A targeted performance + polish patch. The headline is a faster dashboard on data-rich accounts: the pulse chart drops up to ~5 000 raw rows per range tab in favour of one row per day, the duplicate `/api/dashboard/widgets` fetch on every mount collapses to one, and three long-running analytics reads are bounded to the trailing window the tile path actually needs. Two production regressions close — the `aggregate=daily|weekly|monthly` path on `/api/measurements` 500'd for every grain, and the same path averaged cumulative step counts instead of summing. |

chore(release): v1.4.25
Largest feature delta in the v1.4.x line. Insights expands into seven dedicated metric sub-pages; GLP-1 medication tracking lands end-to-end (drug-level chart with Research Mode acknowledgment, EMA titration ladder, cadence + compliance, side-effect taxonomy, pen/vial inventory); cross-source priority becomes a two-axis resolver; per-user timezone threads through ten analytics surfaces; Withings activity + sleep v2 sync; onboarding rebuilt as a nested-route wizard; Personal Records ship end-to-end; Health Score provenance accordion; Coach runs native first-party prompts across six locales with a 1800-assertion refusal-probe matrix; OpenAPI drift gate hard-fails; multi-arch GHCR image. Migrations 0043 through 0060 are additive and forward-only. PROMPT_VERSION 4.24.0 → 4.25.0 with GROUND RULE 9 (refuses dose recommendations) and GROUND RULE 15 (refuses drug-level estimates with MDR + MDCG 2021-24 cites). See CHANGELOG.md for the full per-section delta. |

perf(analytics): groupBy + cursor-paged BP aggregate
Reviewer note: src/app/api/analytics/route.ts fanned out 17+ unbounded prisma.measurement.findMany per request — growth linear in HealthKit-days. Replace with prisma.groupBy where possible; chunked-paged with take=5000 where running-window slope or paired correlations require row-level access. Wide-event annotation analytics.bp_aggregate.row_count for slow-query attribution. fix(insights): tighter Pearson surfacing gate (n>=20)
The Pearson p-value derives from the Fisher's-Z normal approximation.
At low df (df < 18, n < 20) the normal approx is generous in the
wrong direction — at df=12 a true p≈0.04 reports as p≈0.025, sneaking
past the p<0.05 surfacing gate. The v1.4.22 product-lead memo flagged
this as Code-MED-03 with a deadline of "before v1.5/v1.6 auto-
discovery ships" because the false-positive cost compounds when
correlations get auto-generated.
Two paths considered:
- Rigorous: drop in a 30-LOC incomplete-beta implementation so the
p-value is accurate at every df. Cleanest fix, no test churn.
- Conservative: raise `MIN_PAIRED_N` from 14 to 20 so the borderline
band is excluded entirely. Smaller patch, no maths-library
dependency.
v1.4.23 ships the conservative fix. The rigorous incomplete-beta
swap is queued as a v1.4.24 candidate; if usage data from the
v1.4.16 B5e feedback aggregator later shows users miss the
borderline cards, the rigorous path lands then.
Trade-off: a small set of borderline-significance correlation cards
stop rendering. Acceptable for v1.5 — the prompt-injection guards +
warm Coach prose make it more important to under-report than over-
report patterns.
Tests +1 (`pearson` n=15 → insufficient pin) plus an existing
`correlateBpCompliance` n=13 test renamed to n=15 + the noise-fixture
extended from 15 to 20 entries to clear the new gate.

perf(api): chunked BP aggregate replaces unbounded findMany
The W2-of-v1.4.20 BD-Zielbereich fix needed the complete sys + dia series to compute the all-time + prior-month + prior-year windows, so it pulled both tables via single-shot `findMany`. For a 5-year power user (~9 000 rows per side) that's a 50-100 ms Prisma round- trip and a ~2 MB working-set allocation per /api/analytics request. Switch to a cursor-paged 5 000-row chunked read via the new `fetchBpSeriesChunked()` helper. The accumulated `BpReading[]` is the same shape `computeBpInTargetWindows()` already consumed; the working-set ceiling is now `BP_CHUNK_SIZE` instead of unbounded. Safety bound at 1 000 pages = 5 M rows so a cursor-staleness bug can't loop forever. Wide-event annotation `analytics.bp_in_target.row_count` (+ per-side `sys_rows` / `dia_rows`) lets ops attribute slow requests to outlier users without rerunning the DB queries. Integration test seeds a 6 000-row dataset (3 000 sys + 3 000 dia) spanning a chunk boundary and asserts the response shape stays the same — last30Days, last7Days, allTime windows all carry the hand-derivable percentages. feat(analytics): per-stage sleep aggregation in /api/analytics
Apple Health stores sleep as one Measurement row per stage per night, so the existing single-value SLEEP_DURATION summary would treat each stage as its own datapoint and grossly understate the per-night total. The route now sums per Berlin day before summarising — one summary datapoint per night, value equal to total minutes asleep. A new optional `sleepStages` block surfaces the per-stage breakdown over the trailing 30 days when stage-tagged rows exist (and `null` otherwise so the existing UI keeps painting the totals-only path). The block reports total minutes, the night count covered, and the per-stage minute sums so the upcoming insights surface can render "averaged across N nights" captions truthfully. Two integration tests cover both shapes — a four-stage night aggregating to 880 minutes with a populated stages map, and a manual-source no-stage row keeping `sleepStages` at null. fix: MED-cluster — SameSite=Strict, exact-match PUBLIC_PATHS, Berlin tz, streaming race
Six MEDs grouped per the W5 reconcile brief:
- Sec-MED-1: `hl_onboarding` cookie now `SameSite=Strict` (no
cross-site flow depends on it; sibling `healthlog_session` stays
`Lax` for the Withings OAuth callback).
- Sec-MED-2: `/onboarding` PUBLIC_PATHS match tightened from loose
`startsWith("/onboarding")` to exact path + subroute guard
(`pathname === "/onboarding" || pathname.startsWith("/onboarding/")`).
A future `/onboarding-export` route can no longer inherit the
silent-pass-through. Same guard mirrored on the redirect short-
circuit. Two new proxy tests pin the contract.
- Code-MED-3: lift `berlinDayKey()` from
`src/app/api/analytics/route.ts` to a shared
`src/lib/analytics/berlin-day.ts` and route the targets
sparkline-bucketing through it. The targets route used to bucket
by UTC `YYYY-MM-DD` so a 23:30-Berlin reading on Tuesday landed
in Wednesday's bucket. Four new unit tests pin DST + UTC-midnight
edge cases.
- Code-MED (streaming race): on slow connections SSE `done` fires
before the invalidate-refetch resolves, producing a 200-500ms
duplicate-bubble render. Add a 150ms grace window on the
message-thread that suppresses the persisted twin while the
streaming bubble is still in flight.
- Code-MED-2: drop dead i18n keys `insights.coach.settings` and
`insights.coach.settingsTooltip` (W3 removed the cog; the keys
had zero call sites and would carry confusing legacy if v1.4.23's
prompt-tuning panel picks a different key shape).
- Code-LOW-5: centralise `["user", "dashboardWidgets"]` query key
in `queryKeys.dashboardWidgets()` and migrate the three call
sites (dashboard, insights, settings/dashboard-layout-section).
Same query-key-collision discipline as `queryKeys.analytics()`.
Closes Sec-MED-1, Sec-MED-2, Code-MED-2, Code-MED-3, Code-MED-3
(streaming race), Code-LOW-5.

fix(insights): align BD-Zielbereich delta math with comparison window
The tile computed `bp30 - bpAll` regardless of which baseline the
user picked under Settings → Dashboard, while rendering a caption
keyed on `comparisonBaseline` ("vs. last month" / "vs. last year").
The math therefore lied to the user. Every other trend tile uses
`tileCompareDelta()` against period-aligned `avg30LastMonth` /
`avg30LastYear` baselines.
Add `priorMonth` (now-60d…now-30d) and `priorYear` (now-395d…
now-365d) windows to `computeBpInTargetWindows()`. Ship the pcts on
the analytics envelope as `bpInTargetPctPriorMonth` /
`bpInTargetPctPriorYear`. Route the dashboard's `bpCompareDelta` to
subtract the prior window matching the user's baseline; fall back
to null for `none`.
Three new bp-in-target unit tests (priorMonth, priorYear, null
windows) and two insights-polish guards (envelope contains the
fields, page no longer subtracts `bpAll`).
Closes Code-H2.

fix(analytics): BP target headline reads last-30d, all-time becomes sub-row
Up to v1.4.19 the BD-Zielbereich tile pinned 50/50/50 because the route routed the headline through `windows.last30Days?.pct` — making the headline a literal copy of the `30T` sub-value. v1.4.19 A1 re-anchored the headline to all-time so the three windows could diverge. That fixed the algorithmic pin but introduced an emotional problem: the headline became the slowest-moving aggregate possible, punishing users who had recently dragged their compliance up. A user seeing 7d 50 % / 30d 50 % alongside a stubborn 11 % all-time read it as "your work doesn't count yet." Re-anchor the headline to `windows.last30Days?.pct` and surface all-time as a third sub-value (`bpInTargetPctAllTime`) so power users still see the long-arc number without it dominating. The integration test pins the new contract: with three legitimately divergent windows the route's `bpInTargetPct` equals `last30Days.pct`, and the new all-time field carries the historical figure. The Phase D security review flagged a "Marc's data (572 paired readings, …)" comment in the analytics route. feat(api): emit Health Score from /api/analytics
The route now builds the four-component Health Score input from the
already-fetched BP figure plus a fresh weight + mood + medication
intake fetch (last 30 days, plus a 7-day-shifted snapshot for the
delta). The response gains a `healthScore: { score, band,
components, delta } | null` field; null when no component is
computable so the UI hero panel can hide cleanly.
The wide-event annotation carries `healthScore.score` + `band` +
`delta` so admin-app-logs can attribute coverage without DB queries.
The previous-week BP rate reuses the all-time figure (it's a slow-
moving aggregate; rewinding it cheaply isn't possible without a
full historical re-pair). Delta therefore primarily reflects week-
over-week movement in weight / mood / compliance — the components
that actually move on a weekly cadence.
Integration coverage seeds three synthetic-data shapes against the
postgres testcontainer:
- strong-positive → green band (>= 75)
- empty user → null healthScore
- compliance-only → bp/weight/mood null, compliance weight 1.0

feat(insights): wire CorrelationRow + TrendsRow into /insights
Compute the three pre-defined correlation hypotheses (BP × compliance, mood × pulse, weight × weekday) on the trailing 30-day window in `/api/analytics` and surface the typed result shapes on the response payload. Each runner is gated on n >= 14 + p < 0.05; below the bar the result.status === "insufficient" and the per-card EmptyState paints in place of a misleading near-zero scatter. The insights page now mounts: - `<CorrelationRow>` between the Daily Briefing and the Advisor card — the layout slot the artboard reserves for the patterns surface. - `<TrendsRow>` immediately below it, fed from `advisor.payload.trendAnnotations` (lifted client-side via `trendAnnotationsSchema.safeParse`). Legacy cached payloads predating PROMPT_VERSION 4.20.1 surface the per-metric empty-state hint instead of a half-rendered annotation. The wide-event annotation captures per-hypothesis status so admin observability can attribute coverage gaps without re-querying the DB. 10 source-scan tests pin the load-bearing imports, the JSX mounts, the analytics-route surfacing, and the malformed-payload null fallback in the advisor hook. fix(dashboard): BD-Zielbereich headline shows all-time, not 30-day
Marc reported the BD-Zielbereich tile pinned at exactly 50/50/50 for
7T, 30T, and the headline ("total") on his real production data — the
fourth attempt at this surface (v1.4.15 → v1.4.16 → v1.4.18 → v1.4.19).
Root cause: the analytics route routed `bpInTargetPct` (the headline)
through `windows.last30Days?.pct` — a literal copy of the `30T`
sub-value. Since `computeBpInTargetWindows` only returned 7d + 30d
windows, the headline could never legitimately differ from `30T`. For
Marc's real data (572 paired readings since 2022, recent 30d = 50 %,
all-time ≈ 11 %) the tile read 50 % / 50 % / 50 % and looked
algorithmically pinned — exactly the symptom he reported.
The previous three passes treated this as either a predicate bug
(v1.4.16 ceiling-vs-narrow-band, real and merged) or a missing
`avg7`/`avg30` wiring (v1.4.18, also real and merged). Both fixes
landed correctly, but neither addressed the headline duplication.
Fix:
- `computeBpInTargetWindows` now returns a third `allTime` window
that aggregates EVERY paired reading in the input series.
- The analytics route fetches all paired BP rows (no 30-day cutoff)
and routes the headline through `windows.allTime?.pct`. The route
only re-pairs once internally so the cost is paid once per request.
- The 7T / 30T sub-values are unchanged (still windowed slices of
the same input).
Failing test reproduces the bug with Marc's data shape (`allTime` MUST
not equal `last30Days` once older history is present); fix turns it
green. Integration test seeds 40 paired readings against real Postgres
and asserts all three windows compute independently.
Hand-counted against Marc's prod data:
- 7T: 50 % (1/2) — matches what he sees, real coincidence
- 30T: 50 % (5/10) — matches what he sees, real coincidence
- Headline: ~11 % (62/572) — was 50 %, now correct

refactor(v1.4.18): apply simplify-review safe suggestions
Seven mechanical cleanups, no behaviour changes: - Drop the duplicate ChartOverlayPrefs type + DEFAULT in chart-overlay-controls; re-export the canonical pair from dashboard-layout so a future fourth toggle can't drift between the UI and persistence layers. - useChartOverlayPrefs accepts null/undefined chartKey and short- circuits the dashboard-layout fetch when none is supplied. Drops the chartKey ?? "bp" fallback and the three discard-the-result ternaries in health-chart; mini-mode renders no longer subscribe to the BP chart's persisted prefs. - /api/analytics no longer pair-and-counts BP twice — the windowed helper already produces last30Days, so the headline reads it back instead of running computeBpInTargetPct on the same input. - Drop the redundant moodEntries.map shape in the achievements route; the prisma select already returns the matching shape. - Merge the five hidden-metric cases into the no-precondition block of isEarnable; the defensive comment admitted they couldn't fire. - Remove the deprecated getAchievementCategory wrapper (zero callers). - Strip six "v1.4.18 gradient removed" what-comments scattered across the chart wrappers; the polish tests pin the absence. fix(dashboard): wire 7T and 30T sub-values on the BD-Zielbereich tile
The tile rendered the 30-day headline correctly but the `7T:` and
`30T:` sub-values fell back to "—" even when the user had paired BP
readings in both windows. Root cause was that `/api/analytics` only
returned a single `bpInTargetPct`; the tile received `avg7={null}`
and `avg30={null}` and the TrendCard rendered the dash placeholder.
Add `computeBpInTargetWindows()` next to the existing `computeBpInTargetPct()`
helper. It filters the input series by `measuredAt` against the supplied
clock and runs the same pair-and-count logic over the trailing 7-day and
30-day windows. The route fetches the last 30 days of data once, derives
both shares from the result, and surfaces them as `bpInTargetPct7d` and
`bpInTargetPct30d` on the response. The dashboard tile maps them to
`avg7` and `avg30` so the sub-values now show the actual percentages.
Coverage:
- 6 unit tests for the windowed helper (empty input, mixed window data,
null-7d-with-real-30d, default-clock, Marc's production fixture).
- 2 integration tests against testcontainers seeding 30 days of paired
BP measurements; both windows produce the expected hand-counted shares.

feat(admin): replace overview section-grid with audit-log preview + system snapshot
The `/admin` overview rendered a six-card status grid plus a quick-jump list of every admin section. Both duplicated navigation that already lives in the sidebar (and the global nav after Phase 4b), so the landing page told the admin nothing they didn't already see two clicks away. Replace the duplicated nav with two at-a-glance panes that *only* the overview can show: - Welcome card greets the signed-in admin by username and confirms the admin context (so the role indicator the shell shows is reinforced in the page body, not just the chrome). - `<SystemStatusSummary>` reuses the existing `useSystemStatus()` hook + `/api/version` to print app version, DB up/down, worker state, process start time, build SHA, and built-at. Same data source as `<SystemStatusSection>` so we don't double-fetch. - `<RecentAuditPreview>` lists the latest 10 audit entries from `/api/admin/audit-log?limit=10&filter=auth` with a "View all" link to `/admin/login-overview`. Reuses the same auth-action label map the full section uses. The previous `<StatusCardGrid>` component is now unused — removed entirely. The test file kept its name (`status-card-grid.test.tsx`) so git history follows the rename, but it now asserts the new overview composition: welcome card paints with the admin's username, snapshot heading present, audit preview links to `/admin/login-overview`, and the legacy "Maintenance"/"Monitoring" card titles + "Manage users" CTAs are *not* rendered. audit(v1.3.3): SpO2 + body-composition + 14 CRITICAL/HIGH security/correctness fixes (#121)
* fix(measurements): close issue #109 + sync body composition across UI/PDF/thresholds User-visible: TOTAL_BODY_WATER, BONE_MASS, and BLOOD_GLUCOSE now appear in the measurements filter, badge, mobile icon, and edit dialog (issue #109). Server-rendered doctor report now includes body composition rows (audit C-9). Body water + bone mass have proper effective-range thresholds so severity logic doesn't silently return `nominal` (audit C-15). Structural: extracted the per-type display maps from measurement-list.tsx into measurement-list-meta.ts as a deliberate first step toward the single-source manifest planned for phase P5. Coverage tests now fail-fast if a future enum addition skips any of: list label/icon/color, doctor-PDF label/unit/vital-types, chart label, threshold metric order/label/bounds. Audit-2026-05-07 / phase P0: - closes #109 (filter UI gap, root cause for the German raw-enum display) - closes audit C-9 (server PDF used a stale type map) - closes audit C-15 (no warn/critical bands for body composition) Tests: 282 → 296 (14 new). Typecheck clean. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * docs: align OpenAPI spec + migration comment with body-composition reality - OpenAPI MeasurementType enum: add TOTAL_BODY_WATER + BONE_MASS (was at v1.3.0 baseline; spec drifted past the v1.3 server release) - Bump openapi version 1.3.0 → 1.3.2 to match package.json - Migration 0022 comment: TOTAL_BODY_WATER stores kg (water content), not percent of body weight. Validators (VALUE_RANGES) and the Withings client (type 77 → kg) treat it as kg already; the comment was the lone outlier and would mislead the next reviewer. Audit-2026-05-07 / phase P1a — closes audit M-B1 (partial; OpenAPI enum) and M-B2 (migration unit comment). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): close 3 audit CRITICALs (Withings header / idempotency Bearer / GlitchTip URL strip) C-3 (Withings webhook secret in URL): Now reads X-Withings-Webhook-Secret header in preference; URL ?secret=… fallback retained for legacy Withings configurations and emits a Wide Event warning so operators can spot still-using-the-old-flow integrators. The query-string secret was leaking into Coolify access logs and any GlitchTip event whose request.url got captured. C-4 (idempotency dead for Bearer-token clients): The default userIdResolver only consulted getSession(). Bearer-authed clients (the iOS / n8n / headless-API fleet that PR #117 was built for) fell through, so every retry created duplicate measurements. The default now tries cookie session first, then Bearer token via hashToken+apiToken.findUnique with revoked/expiry checks. All three existing call sites (measurements, mood-entries, medications/intake) get the fix automatically. H-B7 (request.url with secrets shipped to GlitchTip): reportToGlitchtip now strips the query string before forwarding the URL, so Withings legacy ?secret=… and any OAuth ?code=… that errors during the callback don't end up in someone else's incident UI. Audit-2026-05-07 / phase P2. Tests: 296 → 301 (5 new in idempotency.test for the Bearer fallback + revoked/expired/null cases). Deferred to a follow-up (needs DB migration / lock primitive): C-2 moodLog webhook → AES-GCM at rest + HMAC-over-body C-5 idempotency TOCTOU advisory_lock or in-flight sentinel row Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(measurements): add OXYGEN_SATURATION (SpO2) as first-class measurement type — v1.3.3 Closes the OxygenSaturation feature request from #109. - Migration 0024 extends MeasurementType enum (additive, IF NOT EXISTS) - Zod validators: plausibility 50–100% (below 50 is incompatible with sustained life; above 100 is physically impossible) - effective-range thresholds: green 95–100, orange 92–94, red <92. Sources: BTS Guideline 2017 (target 94–98%), ATS clinical practice (≥95% at rest is healthy), AHA/clinical literature (<92% = call provider, <88% = ER). Lower-only concern — upper orange wing collapses to greenMax since saturation cannot exceed 100%. - Personalisation: existing thresholds-override UI lets COPD / chronic-respiratory users with a doctor-set 88–92 baseline tune the bands. METRIC_ORDER + METRIC_LABEL_KEYS extended in thresholds-section.tsx; the exhaustive `Record<ThresholdMetric>` forces TS to catch any missed surface. - Withings ScanWatch type 54 mapping (best-effort — only fires for pulse-ox-capable devices). - Wired through measurement-form, measurement-list-meta (icon: Wind), health-chart, both doctor-report-pdf renderers (core + browser-side near-duplicate), OpenAPI spec (version 1.3.0 → 1.3.3), and i18n in 4 sections × 2 locales. - iOS DTO already declared `OXYGEN_SATURATION` — server enum addition closes the long-standing drift flagged in audit V2. - 4 new tests: numeric green band, upper-wing collapse, user-override (COPD baseline), METRIC_BOUNDS shape. Tests: 301 → 305. Typecheck: clean. Audit-2026-05-07 / v1.3.3 / closes #109 SpO2 feature request. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(analytics): truthfulness pass on medical citations + clamp override orangeMax Doctor-agent + hallucination-hunter audit V3 found six medical citations in effective-range.ts that the code did not actually implement. Plus a latent bug in the user-override path that produced physically-impossible orangeMax values (>100% saturation, <0% body-fat). Citation rewrites (no numeric changes): - ACTIVITY_STEPS: "WHO ≥8000 steps/day" → Saint-Maurice JAMA 2020. WHO publishes activity in min/week, not steps. Step-count was a misattribution that also leaked into AI prompts. - TOTAL_BODY_WATER: "ESPEN Body Composition Guidance 2017" → Watson formula / ICRP Reference Man. ESPEN 2017 is BIA practice guidance, it does not publish kg cut-offs. - BONE_MASS: "DEXA-equivalent bone mineral content" → "Bioimpedance- estimated; not DEXA-comparable". Withings BIA values typically run 5–7% below DEXA — calling them DEXA-equivalent in a doctor-report PDF was a real legal-exposure misattribution. - OXYGEN_SATURATION: "BTS Guideline 2017 (target 94–98%) + ATS clinical practice (≥95% at rest is healthy)" → "consumer pulse- oximeter consensus (≥95% normal at rest); slightly tighter than BTS 2017 (94–98%); NICE NG115 ≤92% escalation, BMJ panel / FDA pulse-oximeter labelling ≤88% ER threshold". Code uses 95-100/92-100 band — that's an ATS/consumer-consensus number, not BTS's literal 94-98 target. Soften the citation to match the code, not vice versa. Bug fix (1 latent, 1 real-today): - effective-range override path now clamps orangeMin/orangeMax to METRIC_BOUNDS.{min,max}. Without the clamp, a COPD user setting SpO2 override to {95,100} emitted orangeMax = 100.75 (impossible saturation), and a BODY_FAT override of {2,80} emitted orangeMin = -9.7 (negative percent). Default-range case 210 already hard-coded orangeMax: 100 for the same reason — the override path was the only branch missing the invariant. Tests: 305 → 306 (1 new: clamps override orangeMax to physiological 100%). Typecheck: clean. Audit-2026-05-07-V3 / closes Doctor + Senior-Dev medical-citation findings. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): Bearer-scope wildcard handling + GDPR Art.17 account-delete erasure Two CRITICAL fixes from audit V3. NEW-V3-1: Bearer-scope bypass. apiToken.permissions ["*"] is meant to be the wildcard "session-equivalent" scope (the iOS app receives this on login). The previous check permissions.includes(requiredPermission) treated "*" as a literal string — never matched. Today many sensitive routes call requireAuth() *without* a requiredPermission, so a leaked iOS token can act as a full-scope token (account delete, settings wipe). Once those routes adopt requireAuth("scope:name"), this wildcard handling keeps the iOS app working while narrower-scoped tokens (e.g. user-issued ["medication:ingest"]) get correctly 403'd. Same wildcard handling added to the standalone permission checks in src/app/api/ingest/medication/route.ts:65, 119. NEW-V3-2: GDPR Art. 17 account-delete erasure completeness. Feedback + AuditLog rows had `onDelete: SetNull` in the schema, which preserved PII (free-text symptom descriptions, IP addresses, login-city geolocation) after the user was deleted. We now explicitly prisma.feedback.deleteMany + prisma.auditLog.deleteMany before the cascade-delete, making account deletion genuinely complete erasure. Tests 306/306 still pass; typecheck clean. Audit V3. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * test(pdf): real text-content assertions for body composition + SpO2 rows Replaces bytes-only "renders body composition rows" theatre test with pdf-parse-driven text extraction that asserts the actual rendered labels + values for TOTAL_BODY_WATER, BONE_MASS, OXYGEN_SATURATION (DE + EN). Closes V3 audit finding STILL-V2-NEW-3: the previous test only verified "%PDF-" header + byte-count, so a regression that drops a row would still pass. Now a missing label fails the test. - adds dev dep: pdf-parse@^2.4.5 - 308/308 tests pass (was 306, +2 SpO2 + EN-locale coverage) Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(measurements): close enum drift cousins — derive 5 type-arrays from canonical enum + extend 2 contract enums V3 audit finding "enum drift cousins": 7 hardcoded module-level type arrays silently dropped SpO2/TBW/BoneMass/BloodGlucose from their respective domains. Adding a new measurement type required hunting these down. Now all aggregation paths derive from `measurementTypeEnum.options`: - /api/insights/comprehensive (AI insights) - /api/dashboard/summary (iOS dashboard adapter) - /api/analytics (analytics aggregator) - /lib/insights/general-status (AI general-status fetch) - /api/import (Zod schema — round-trip now covers all 11 types) External-contract enums extended additively (no breakage for old clients): - /api/measurements/series kindEnum: + oxygen, totalBodyWater, boneMass - /api/dashboard/widgets widgetIdEnum: + oxygenSaturation - DashboardWidgetId + DEFAULT_DASHBOARD_LAYOUT: + oxygenSaturation row - formatMeasurementsForExport: glucoseContext now round-trips Coverage test (`measurement-type-enum-coverage.test.ts`) asserts the canonical enum stays the source of truth and documents PDF exclusions (BLOOD_GLUCOSE renders via context section, SLEEP/STEPS lifestyle-only). 313/313 tests pass (was 308, +5 new). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): close 6 V3-audit HIGH findings (CSP, web-push SSRF, IP geo, AI provider leak, import rate-limit) - CSP: chatgpt.com + api.openai.com only on /settings/ai/** routes (was blanket connect-src on every page including /auth/login → DOM-XSS exfil channel) - web-push: webPushSubscriptionSchema.endpoint requires HTTPS + isPublicUrl refinement; was z.url() only → blind SSRF probe via Push subscription - isPublicUrl: also fixes a regression where DNS labels starting with "fc"/"fd" (fcm.googleapis.com etc.) were falsely classified as IPv6 unique-local. Check is now gated on a colon being present in the host. - /api/ai/test: stop returning provider err.message + bodyExcerpt to the client (leaked provider URLs / partial keys / internal headers). Now returns categorised generic message; full details land in the wide-event via annotate() for the operator. - /lib/geo (auditLog IP geo lookup): switch default provider to ipwho.is over HTTPS, accept ipwho.is + ip-api pro response shapes, add IP_GEO_LOOKUP_DISABLED env, refuse non-HTTPS configured URLs. Previously leaked IP+timestamp over plaintext HTTP every auth event (GDPR Art. 32 + Art. 44). - /api/import: add 5/hour rate-limit (was unlimited; bulk-injection vector) Tests: 325/325 pass (was 313, +12 new — webPushSubscriptionSchema SSRF guards, fc/fd-prefix domain regression, geo HTTPS-only, geo provider shapes, geo opt-out env). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security, gdpr): trusted-proxy IP, audit-log retention, idempotency cachable filter, Bearer mock tightening V3 audit follow-on bundle covering 4 HIGH findings. (I) getClientIp — TRUST_PROXY_HOPS env (default 1) replaces blind XFF trust. Reads chain right-to-left so client-supplied leftmost entries cannot rotate the per-IP rate-limit bucket. Default 1 matches typical single-proxy self-host (Coolify/Caddy/Cloudflare-Tunnel); 0 forces x-real-ip / null. New 7-test suite covers the rotation attack + malformed entries + zero-hop fallback. (F) Audit-log retention job — daily 03:15 cleanup of audit_logs older than AUDIT_LOG_RETENTION_DAYS (default 365). Closes GDPR Art. 5(1)(e) "storage limitation" gap; previously IPs + city + login events accumulated forever. 6-test suite covers default + override + misconfig guard (rejects <7 days). (G) isCachableStatus — extracted the inline 4xx/5xx filter into a named, exported, tested function. 7 cases cover the full do-not-cache contract (401 / 403 / 408 / 429 / any 5xx) and confirm 2xx + 4xx validation are still cached. (H) Bearer-mock tightening — apiToken.findUnique mocks in require-auth-bearer.test + idempotency.test now assert the where.tokenHash shape uses the hashed value (not the raw bearer). A regression that switched back to raw-token comparison would have been silent without this assertion. Tests: 345/345 pass (was 332, +13 new). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): encrypt moodLog webhook secret at rest with AES-256-GCM (V3 audit STILL-V2-C-2) The mood_log_webhook_secret column previously stored a plaintext secret that the webhook handler compared timing-safe against every enabled user. A DB dump or backup snapshot leaked active webhook credentials. New contract — no schema migration required: - Writes go through encryptMoodLogSecret() (AES-256-GCM via existing crypto helper, ENCRYPTION_KEY). - Reads go through readMoodLogSecret() which transparently decrypts envelopes and tolerates legacy plaintext rows during the transition (graceful upgrade path — no breaking change for self-hosted users). - Webhook lookup decrypts each candidate before timing-safe compare. - Status endpoint decrypts for the user's settings page. One-shot startup migration in reminder-worker rotates any leftover plaintext rows on next worker boot. Idempotent; encrypted rows are skipped. Tests: 350/350 pass (was 345, +5 new — round-trip, legacy passthrough, isLegacyPlaintext semantics, rotateLegacy idempotence). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * docs: sync README + AGENTS + CLAUDE + CHANGELOG + OpenAPI for v1.3.3 (V3 audit doc-drift) V3 audit Doku Specialist findings — drift between code and meta-docs. - README §Key Features now mentions pulse oximetry (SpO₂) + Withings ScanWatch sync; Tech Stack model count corrected 23 → 25. - AGENTS.md status promoted v1.3.2 → v1.3.3; vitest config corrected `vitest.config.ts` → `vitest.config.mts`; migration range corrected `0001–0022` → `0001–0024`; model count + list updated to 25 (adds Device, IdempotencyKey). - CLAUDE.md model count updated (2 occurrences). - CHANGELOG.md v1.3.3 expanded with Security + Internal sections that were missing the audit-fix-marathon work (Bearer-scope, account-delete cascade, moodLog encryption, CSP tightening, Web-Push SSRF, IP-geo HTTPS, AI-test leak fix, import rate-limit, trusted-proxy XFF, audit-log retention, idempotency cachable filter, Bearer mock tightening, enum-drift cousins, PDF text-content tests). - OpenAPI Bearer description corrected `SHA-256 hashes` → `HMAC-SHA-256 hashes (keyed with API_TOKEN_HMAC_KEY)` so the docs match the actual server-side implementation. Wildcard scope contract documented. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(audit-review): close 4 HIGH + 2 MEDIUM findings from multi-agent review pass Multi-agent review of the audit-fix branch surfaced four HIGH issues and a couple of MEDIUM hardenings. All addressed before merge. HIGH-1 — OpenAPI MetricKind enum drift (iOS strict-decode crash risk). The dashboard-summary route now emits totalBodyWater/boneMass/ oxygenSaturation MetricCards, but the spec still listed only the original 7 kinds. Generated iOS Codable would have crashed the dash the moment a user logged SpO2. MetricKind extended with the 3 new kinds + comment documenting unknown-value defensive decoding. HIGH-2 — kindEnum naming consistency on /api/measurements/series. The series adapter shipped "oxygen" while the dashboard summary used "oxygenSaturation"; both routes now use "oxygenSaturation" so iOS decoders can share a single MetricKind type across endpoints. HIGH-3 — /api/ai/test no-leak guard had no test. Added 4 tests that mock provider errors with sk-leaked-key + provider URLs in the err fields and assert the response body never echoes them, plus the 3-status-categorised generic messages (401/429/5xx/other). HIGH-4 — /api/import 5/hour rate-limit had no test. Added 2 tests that mock checkRateLimit allowed/disallowed and assert the 429 path uses the right key shape (`import:<userId>`, 5, 1h) and that the within- quota path proceeds. MEDIUM-3 — getClientIp under-length XFF chain regression. With TRUST_PROXY_HOPS=2 and a chain of length 1, the previous clamp returned the leftmost (attacker-controlled) entry, silently re-introducing the rotation attack the helper was meant to close. Now: when chain is shorter than configured hops, refuse XFF entirely (fall back to x-real-ip / null). Added regression test. LOW-1 — TRUST_PROXY_HOPS=garbage now throws at boot instead of silently degrading to hops=0. Added regression test. Tests: 358/358 pass (was 350, +8 new). Typecheck clean. release(v1.2): i18n, thresholds, glucose, dashboard customization, feedback, multi-provider AI (#77)
* fix(i18n,ux): package A — missing keys, chart labels, query invalidation, admin error UX Addresses bugs surfaced in issues #73 and #74 plus drift found during audit. - i18n: add 21 missing translation keys (targets.* namespace was only partially populated after the English-first migration; common.reset and settings.configured were referenced but absent), plus common helpers (copy, copyDetails, retry, reportIssue) and admin.settingsSaveError. - charts: rename points7Label/30Label/90Label from cryptic "7P/30P/90P" to "7 pts / 30 pts / 90 pts" in EN and "7 Pkt / 30 Pkt / 90 Pkt" in DE. - queries: add src/lib/query-keys.ts as a single source of truth with measurement/mood/medication-dependent key sets. Wire them into measurement-form/list, mood-form/list, medication-form/card, intake-history-list, intake-timeline, medications page, and Withings sync in settings. Fixes dashboard not auto-refreshing after adding a measurement (old code only invalidated ["measurements"], not ["analytics"] / ["insights"] / ["insights","targets"]). - admin: useUpdateSettings + updateUser mutations now surface real error messages via sonner toasts and invoke getApiErrorMessage() so saves fail loudly instead of silently. Success also gets a toast. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * refactor(i18n): package B — locale-aware formatters throughout Removes the hard-coded de-DE locale that lingered from the German-first era and makes every number, date, and time locale-aware. English stays the default per user preference; German remains selectable. New: - src/lib/format-locale.ts exposes makeFormatters(locale) + a cached Europe/Berlin timezone. Covers number, integer, percent, date, dateShort, dateTime, time, dateWithWeekday, monthShort. Also exports parseLocaleFromAcceptLanguage() for server code. - useFormatters() hook in @/lib/i18n/context resolves from the active locale, memoized per render. Migrated (all Intl.NumberFormat("de-DE") / toLocaleString("de-DE") / Intl.DateTimeFormat("de-DE") call sites): - src/app/page.tsx (dashboard) - src/app/insights/page.tsx - src/app/admin/page.tsx - src/app/settings/page.tsx (Withings last-sync, doctor-report caller) - src/components/charts/trend-card.tsx (+ i18n "7d"/"30d" short labels) - src/components/charts/health-chart.tsx - src/components/medications/medication-card.tsx - src/components/medications/medication-form.tsx - src/components/measurements/measurement-list.tsx - src/components/mood/mood-list.tsx - src/components/insights/insight-status-card.tsx (also removed 5 German hard-coded strings with TODO: i18n markers — now translated) - src/components/insights/insight-advisor-card.tsx (same — 10+ strings) Server: reminder-check / reminder-worker / umami-test switched from "de-DE" to neutral en-GB/en-US where the string is machine-compared rather than user-facing. Bug-report GitHub issue titles use ISO-8601 UTC now — the repo is English-speaking. Next.js metadata: - OpenGraph locale from "de_DE" → "en_US" with "de_DE" as alternateLocale. - Root layout now reads healthlog-locale cookie (falls back to Accept-Language) and sets <html lang> server-side, avoiding an EN-flashes-then-DE hydration gap and fixing SEO/a11y. - I18nProvider mirrors locale to a 1-year SameSite=Lax cookie so the next SSR pass is correct. Doctor-report PDF: - generateDoctorReportPDF(data, { t, locale }) now accepts injected translator + locale. All section titles, column headers, BMI / BP classifications, mood labels, and the footer disclaimer are i18n-driven. File name slug switches between gesundheitsbericht / health-report. - 40+ new doctorReport.* keys in EN + DE. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(ux): package C — typed passkey errors, bug-report gating, error boundary Addresses issue #73 points 1, 5, 6 and lays groundwork for copy-paste error reporting requested during review. Passkey registration / login (#73.1): - src/lib/passkey-errors.ts maps DOMException.name + SimpleWebAuthn code to specific i18n keys instead of swallowing every failure as "cancelled". Distinguishes NotAllowed/InvalidState/NotSupported/ Security/Abort errors and falls back to a diagnostic message. - settings passkey + login passkey flows both use describePasskeyError now, so origin mismatches and previous-registration collisions show actionable copy. - 5 new passkey.* i18n keys in EN + DE. Bug report (#73.5): - New GET /api/bugreport/status reports {configured, hasToken, hasRepo, isAdmin}. - /bugreport page now queries status first. When not configured it shows a notice (different copy for admins vs. regular users) with a direct link to the admin panel. Form is hidden, not silently broken. - When POST /api/bugreport can't create issues it returns 503 instead of 500 with the same user-facing message. - 4 new bugreport.* i18n keys. Global error UX: - src/components/error-details.tsx — reusable panel with retry + copy diagnostics (message, digest, stack (trimmed), URL, user-agent, request-id, locale, timestamp) + report-issue link. Clipboard fallback prompt covers insecure-context cases. - src/app/error.tsx uses it. - src/app/global-error.tsx is provider-free (no i18n dependency) since it replaces the root layout on catastrophic failures — hardcoded English + Dracula palette so it still looks like HealthLog. - 2 new errorBoundary.* keys and 4 common.* keys (copy, copyDetails, retry, reportIssue). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * refactor(query-keys): collapse repeated invalidation blocks into invalidateKeys helper Eleven mutation handlers repeated `Promise.all(keys.map(k => invalidate({queryKey: k})))` verbatim. Adds `invalidateKeys(qc, keys)` to the existing query-keys factory and adopts it everywhere, including replacing the local `invalidateMedicationRelated` helper that medication-form.tsx had grown. Also fixes the import-sandwich that helper introduced. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * refactor: small simplifications in i18n/UX changes - passkey-errors: drop the typeof-name dance now that error.name is already string after the instanceof Error narrow - doctor-report-pdf: replace nested gender ternary with a small lookup map; clarify unitFor's null-as-translation-marker convention - dashboard page: route the analytics queries through the new queryKeys factory so future invalidation stays in one place - health-chart: add missing fmt dependency to trendInfo useMemo (introduced when formatSigned was switched to the locale-aware formatter) Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(ai): capture upstream response body in OpenAI errors A production insights burst at 12:19 UTC failed with "OpenAI request failed (500)". The 500 was the upstream OpenAI HTTP status (confirmed via logs), but we had no way to tell from logs whether it was an OpenAI incident, a model-not-found, or a response_format rejection because the response body was thrown away. Now the error message includes the first 500 chars of the response body and structured fields (httpStatus, upstream, model) that Wide Event logging can attach. No behavior change for the happy path. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(review): address code-review + security findings Review round produced five real issues — fix them all, plus three nits that were cheap enough to bundle. Must-fix: - security: error-details.tsx + global-error.tsx were copying window.location.href into the clipboard, which on OAuth callback routes (/api/withings/*, password reset) would leak code/state tokens into GitHub issues. Strip to pathname + searchParamCount. - fe: query-keys.invalidateKeys now uses Promise.allSettled, so a transient invalidate failure doesn't abort the chain and no unhandled rejection leaks from void invalidateKeys(...) call sites. - fe: resolveInitialLocale in app/layout.tsx wraps cookies()/headers() in try/catch — a dynamic-server error in the root layout now degrades to the "en" default instead of crashing into global-error. - be: reminder-worker + reminder-check parseTimeToMinutes normalize "24:00" → "00:00" (some ICU builds emit that for midnight under en-GB). Prevents a 1440-minute comparison against schedule windows. - security: openai-client error body excerpt redacts sk-* / Bearer tokens before logging, and moves the excerpt off Error.message into a structured field (bodyExcerpt) so log transports can filter it. - i18n: /api/withings/connect German error message → English. - i18n: /insights/page.tsx hardcoded "Fehler beim Laden" → t(...) Hardening: - /api/bugreport/status collapses to {configured, isAdmin} and adds a 30/min rate limit per user. Client interface updated. - i18n/context.tsx: I18nProvider's initializer now reads the cookie (matches SSR) before falling back to localStorage or browser detection — eliminates the locale-flash hydration class. - format.ts legacy helpers also read cookie first, matching SSR. Tests: - new src/lib/__tests__/format-locale.test.ts — 9 cases covering makeFormatters, parseLocaleFromAcceptLanguage, resolveIntlLocale - new passkey-errors.test.ts — 8 cases covering every DOMException name and SimpleWebAuthn code we map - new query-keys.test.ts — bundles + invalidateKeys allSettled semantics (incl. partial-failure test) 118 → 142 tests. All pass. Default computation stays evidence-based (WHO, ESC/ESH 2018, AHA, AASM, ADA 2024, DGIM/DDG S3). Overrides live in User.thresholdsJson; any missing metric falls through to the default so new users need zero configuration. Schema (migration 0021): - New enums: glucose_context (FASTING/POSTPRANDIAL/RANDOM/BEDTIME), feedback_category, feedback_status. - measurement_type gains BLOOD_GLUCOSE; Measurement gets optional glucose_context (enforced via CHECK constraint — only set for glucose). - User gains thresholds_json, dashboard_widgets_json, glucose_unit, ai_provider, ai_model, ai_base_url, ai_anthropic_key_encrypted, ai_local_key_encrypted (stubs for the upcoming features). - New Feedback table for the built-in feedback system (next commit). Backend: - src/lib/analytics/effective-range.ts is the single source of truth: getEffectiveRange(metric, profile, overrides) returns the resolved range + the pristine default + physiological bounds. Every chart, band, insight prompt, and doctor-report section should call this. - Supports 11 metrics incl. four glucose contexts with ADA/DGIM ranges. - src/lib/validations/thresholds.ts — Zod schema with per-metric bounds and min<max refinement. - GET/PUT/DELETE /api/user/thresholds with full audit logging (before/ after) so medical-ish data mutations are traceable. UI: - src/components/settings/thresholds-section.tsx — clean per-metric row with Auto/Override Switch, inline min/max, reset-per-row + reset-all, and a "this looks outside guideline ranges" warning banner that only shows when the override is >30% off the default. - New Personalization section in /settings. - 25 new i18n keys (EN + DE) in a `thresholds.*` namespace. Tests: 8 new cases covering default computation, override application, missing profile gracefully returning null, glucose-context defaults, and per-metric bounds. 150/150 tests pass. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(glucose): wire BLOOD_GLUCOSE + context through the write path Extends measurement validation and the POST /api/measurements route to accept blood-glucose samples with a required `glucoseContext` (FASTING / POSTPRANDIAL / RANDOM / BEDTIME). - Zod schema adds BLOOD_GLUCOSE to the type enum and glucoseContextEnum. - refine(): BLOOD_GLUCOSE requires a context; every other type must not set one — mirrored by the Postgres CHECK constraint from migration 0021 so callers bypassing validation still can't write inconsistent rows. - VALUE_RANGES gains BLOOD_GLUCOSE (20-800 mg/dL) — covers severe hypo through severe hyperglycemia. - getUnitForType(BLOOD_GLUCOSE) returns "mg/dL" (canonical storage). Display in mmol/L is a UI-level conversion per user preference. - Error messages translated to English (removed two lingering German refine messages while here). Measurement form + charts + targets UI follow in the next commits. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(i18n): localize AI insight prompts (en/de) Each prompt builder (base-system, blood-pressure, bmi, general-status, medication-compliance, mood, pulse, weight) now accepts a Locale and returns the system + user prompt either fully in English or fully in German. Stable contract keys (classification enum optimal/gut/grenzwertig /erhoht/kritisch, confidence niedrig/mittel/hoch) are preserved verbatim so the response parser keeps working — only the natural-language sections are translated. The prompt explicitly tells the model to emit classificationLabel / summary / recommendations in the user's language. Wires the locale through every status generator (general / blood-pressure / bmi / weight / pulse / mood / medication-compliance) into the prompt calls and adds a small server-side resolver (src/lib/i18n/server-locale.ts: explicit override > healthlog-locale or userLocale cookie > User.locale > Accept-Language header > default English) used by all /api/insights/*-status routes plus /api/insights/generate. The auditLog cache key already contains the locale suffix, so cached entries stay disjoint per language. The reminder worker continues to fall back to "de" when User.locale is null, matching its prior behaviour. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(glucose): UI + unit conversion helpers - src/lib/glucose.ts — mg/dL ↔ mmol/L conversion (factor 18.0182 per DGIM/DDG), resolveGlucoseUnit() defaulting to mg/dL, thresholdMetricForContext() mapping each context to the matching effective-range key. - Measurement form gains a "Blood glucose" option (mg/dL) with a context selector (fasting / postprandial / random / bedtime). The glucoseContext field is only sent for BLOOD_GLUCOSE — the Zod refinement and the Postgres CHECK constraint both enforce that. - 10 new i18n keys per locale (measurements.typeBloodGlucose, glucoseContext*, glucoseUnit, glucoseUnitHint). - 6 new tests covering conversion roundtrip, unit resolution defaults, and context → threshold-metric mapping. Charts, target cards, and doctor-PDF row for glucose follow in the next commits. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(feedback): built-in feedback system (no GitHub required) Implements the feedback-system design from the v1.2 spec. The submit button on /bugreport now always works — even when no admin has configured a GitHub repository. Feedback is stored in the Feedback table (migration 0021) with an admin inbox for triage. Endpoints: - POST /api/feedback — user submits. Auth-gated, rate-limited 5/hour. Category (BUG / FEATURE_REQUEST / QUESTION / OTHER), subject, description, optional screenshot (≤5 MB, base64), optional metadata (locale, URL path, userAgent). - GET /api/feedback — user's own history (paginated). - GET /api/admin/feedback — admin inbox with status filter and counts-by-status for tab badges. - PATCH /api/admin/feedback/[id] — update status / admin note. - DELETE /api/admin/feedback/[id] — soft-archive. Every mutation writes to AuditLog with before/after details. UI: - /bugreport rewritten: category dropdown, optional subject, always submits. Informational banner explains whether the server has GitHub escalation available or keeps feedback internal-only. - Legacy "not configured" blocker is gone — the form is never hidden. - 8 new bugreport.* i18n keys per locale. The old POST /api/bugreport route and /api/bugreport/status endpoint are left intact for backwards compatibility; they'll be removed in v1.3 once no one depends on them. Admin inbox UI lands in the next commit alongside the dashboard and multi-provider work. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(telegram): localize bot UI per User.locale The Telegram webhook now resolves the user's locale (User.locale, falling back to "de" so existing bots stay German) and runs every reply, inline- keyboard label and callback toast through a small server-side translator. Adds src/lib/i18n/server-translator.ts (getServerTranslator) — reads the same messages/{en,de}.json bundles the client uses, with the same "missing key falls back to English, then to the raw key" semantics, and the same {param} interpolation. Importing the client useTranslations() hook into a server route would have pulled React in, so this mirrors just the parts the bot needs. Adds the telegram.* namespace to messages/en.json and messages/de.json covering: button labels, callback toasts, the /help body, /add prompt, medication-not-found / inactive errors, snooze/skip/confirm confirmations and the cancel button. The "genommen" / "taken" intake keyword and the "hi/hallo/hey/moin/hello" greeting list are accepted regardless of UI locale to keep backwards compatibility for existing users. Also adds 6 vitest cases for getServerTranslator (basic resolution, locale switching, parameter interpolation, English fallback, raw-key fallback, exposed locale). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(dashboard): user-customizable widget layout Implements the dashboard customization spec: users choose which widgets appear on / and in what order. Auto-default keeps the current v1.1 behavior so nothing changes without opt-in. Backend: - src/lib/dashboard-layout.ts — single source of truth with DEFAULT_DASHBOARD_LAYOUT (10 widgets incl. the new sleep/steps/glucose ones that were previously hard-conditional), a version field for future schema evolution, and resolveDashboardLayout() that merges persisted state with defaults so new widgets auto-appear (invisible by default) when the schema bumps. - GET / PUT / DELETE /api/dashboard/widgets with strict Zod validation (version literal, widget-id enum, order range). - Persisted in User.dashboardWidgetsJson (column added in 0021). UI: - src/components/settings/dashboard-layout-section.tsx — mounted under the new Personalization section alongside Thresholds. Local edit buffer so toggling/reordering doesn't fire a network call per click; single "Save" commits. Each widget has Up/Down buttons + visibility toggle, plus a reset-to-defaults button at the section header. - 11 new dashboard.* i18n keys per locale. Dashboard page integration is staged — widgets currently still render per the old data-conditional rules. Wiring the saved layout through /app/page.tsx is a follow-up so this commit stays focused on the plumbing. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(auth): locale-aware password-strength feedback Completes the zxcvbn i18n migration by wiring the new getZxcvbnTranslations(locale) helper into the client PasswordStrength component and removing the obsolete zxcvbn-de helper. - src/components/ui/password-strength.tsx reads the active locale from useTranslations() and memoizes the translator per locale — so changing language instantly retranslates open warnings/suggestions. - src/lib/zxcvbn-de.ts deleted. Every consumer now routes through zxcvbn-i18n.ts which carries both EN and DE mappings. - server-side checkPasswordStrength (already refactored earlier in this session) continues to accept locale; clients can pass it from the session. No test impact — 162 pass. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(dashboard): replace setState-in-effect with draft-overlay pattern The dashboard-layout-section.tsx initial implementation synced server state into local state via useEffect, which trips the project's strict react-hooks/set-state-in-effect rule. Rewrote using a nullable draft pattern: `layout` is derived as `draft ?? remote`, and only user edits set the draft. Save/Reset clear the draft so the server copy wins again. Cancel also clears instead of re-seeding from server. No behavior change, no new tests — the component contract stays the same. Lint back to baseline (2 errors / 7 warnings, both pre-existing). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * docs: v1.2 README + CHANGELOG (thresholds, glucose, dashboard, feedback, multi-provider AI) - CHANGELOG 1.2.0 entry covering 5 new features + locale polish - README Key Features expanded: glucose, custom thresholds, dashboard customization, multi-provider AI, built-in feedback - Doctor Report description updated for locale-aware output Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(targets): glucose cards per context with effective range + unit conversion Render one target card per logged glucose context (FASTING, POSTPRANDIAL, RANDOM, BEDTIME) on /targets, sourcing the threshold band from getEffectiveRange() so user overrides apply consistently. The targets API returns glucose values canonical mg/dL; the page converts to the user's glucoseUnit preference via convertGlucose() before display. - Extend /api/insights/targets to include per-context glucose summaries (latest, 30-day average, range, classification) and surface glucoseUnit in the profile envelope. - Expose glucoseUnit on /api/auth/me and AuthUser type. - Targets page resolves the i18n label key, applies unit conversion to current/avg/range, and uses Droplet iconography. - Add targets.glucoseFasting/Postprandial/Random/Bedtime keys to en + de. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): address H1 (CSP nonce), H3 (SSRF), M1+M2 (XSS) From the v1.2 full-repo security audit: - **H1 / CWE-79** src/proxy.ts: CSP nonce was base64 of the UUID *string* form, which gives ~122 bits and a structured pattern (hyphens at fixed offsets). Replaced with 16 random bytes → proper 128-bit nonce. - **H3 / CWE-918** src/app/api/admin/ai-settings/route.ts: the admin AI base URL only required "https://". A compromised admin cookie could point it at attacker.example and exfiltrate the bearer key on the next insight call. Now validates with URL parser, requires https://, and only accepts hosts on a small allowlist (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, Mistral, Groq, OpenRouter). Ops can extend via `ADMIN_AI_BASE_URL_ALLOWLIST` env var. - **M1 / CWE-79 (stored, off-platform)** src/app/api/bugreport/route.ts: bug-report description flowed to GitHub with only backtick/asterisk stripping. Now strips HTML tags entirely, neutralises dangerous markdown link schemes (javascript:/data:/vbscript:/file:), and wraps the whole body in a fenced code block so residual markdown renders literally. - **M2 / CWE-79** Zod schemas for feedback + bugreport screenshot now require a base64 PNG/JPEG/WEBP/GIF data URL via regex. SVG deliberately excluded — it can carry inline JS that would execute when the admin inbox renders the `<img>` preview. Medium rate-limiter semantics (audit M3) left as-is: the fixed-window behaviour is acceptable for a single-tenant PWA and matches what ops actually want. Remaining M4–M6 + L1–L7 are tracked for v1.3. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(dashboard): glucose TrendCards + chart label support Render one TrendCard per logged glucose context on the dashboard when the user has the "glucose" widget enabled in their layout. Cards respect the user's glucoseUnit preference via convertGlucose(); data sources from the existing /api/analytics endpoint, which now emits a glucoseByContext map alongside the summaries object. - /api/analytics: include BLOOD_GLUCOSE in the type whitelist (so total counts include glucose) and add glucoseByContext containing a summarize() result per context. - HealthChart: wire BLOOD_GLUCOSE into BASE_TYPE_LABEL_KEYS so the legend shows the localized "Blood glucose" label when the chart is invoked for that type. - Dashboard page: fetch the dashboard layout, gate glucose cards on widget visibility AND data presence, render Droplet-icon TrendCards. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(i18n): bugreport.subtitle no longer promises a GitHub issue The visual QA pass flagged that bugreport.subtitle still said "a GitHub issue will be created automatically" even though the banner below the heading correctly explains the submission is stored locally (built-in feedback system, GitHub is only an optional escalation). Neutral copy now that matches the actual behaviour in both locales. * feat(ai): user-level provider selection + test endpoint + UI Adds the missing pieces for the multi-provider AI MVP that pair with the AnthropicClient and LocalOpenAICompatibleClient already on disk: * /api/user/ai-provider (GET + PATCH): user can pick OPENAI / ANTHROPIC / LOCAL / CHATGPT_OAUTH and store provider, model, baseUrl and per-provider API keys. Anthropic + local keys go through the existing AES-256-GCM crypto helper. Provider value is whitelisted. * /api/ai/test (POST): rate-limited (5/min/user) round-trip that resolves the user's provider and asks for a tiny JSON ack so the UI surfaces real "does this config work?" feedback instead of a blind Save. * settings/page.tsx: appends a per-user override card under the existing AI Insights section. Provider dropdown drives conditional fields (Anthropic key for ANTHROPIC, baseUrl + optional bearer for LOCAL, model for all), then Save / Test buttons. * provider.test.ts: extended to cover the four new cases (ANTHROPIC with key, ANTHROPIC fallback, LOCAL, OPENAI routes through admin key, CHATGPT_OAUTH routes through Codex). Switched to resetAllMocks() in beforeEach to flush mockResolvedValueOnce queues between cases — the prior clearAllMocks() leaked them. * local-client.test.ts: full happy / no-auth / bearer-auth / structured error / empty-content coverage mirroring the openai-client suite. typecheck + tests green; lint stays at the pre-existing 2 errors / 7 warnings baseline (no new findings introduced). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * chore: integrate late agent additions (glucose PDF row + i18n) * test(glucose): cover display-unit conversion edge cases Lock in the precision contract for the targets/dashboard/PDF surfaces: canonical mg/dL stays as integers, mmol/L collapses to 1-decimal, and the ADA diabetes thresholds (70/99/126) round-trip to their published SI values (3.9 / 5.5 / 7.0 mmol/L). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(i18n): eliminate hydration flash by threading SSR-resolved locale to I18nProvider Layout already resolves the initial locale from cookie + Accept-Language and sets <html lang>. Until now the client I18nProvider re-detected locale at mount via getSavedLocale() / detectSystemLocale(), causing a flash where "Loading…" (EN) rendered first, then flipped to "Laden…" (DE) after hydration. Pass initialLocale down layout -> Providers -> I18nProvider so useState seeds the same locale the server used. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(admin/feedback): return 409 when GitHub issue already published Spec requires 409 Conflict (not 200 with flag) when the feedback row already has gitHubIssueUrl set. Drops the alreadyPublished response field in favour of a clear error status. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(crypto, dashboard): L4 hard-fail short ENCRYPTION_KEY in prod + dashboard WIP from parallel agent * refactor(effective-range): collapse duplicated glucose case arms Extract glucoseRange() helper and toDate() normalizer. Use METRIC_BOUNDS keys as the source of truth for getAllEffectiveRanges() metric list so additions stay in one place. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * refactor(dashboard-layout-section): drop redundant setLayout alias Remove the trivial setLayout wrapper and hoist the per-row label key lookup so it runs once per widget instead of twice (span + aria-label). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): MED-1 SSRF on user AI baseUrl + MED-2 publish-to-GitHub race Final-audit blockers before v1.2 merge. MED-1 — SSRF via user-level LOCAL AI baseUrl Authenticated user could set aiBaseUrl to http://169.254.169.254/, http://localhost:9090/metrics, or any internal host and get response bodies echoed back via the bodyExcerpt error field. Route the value through the existing isPublicUrl() helper (exported from lib/validations/notifications.ts). Ops can opt-in to private hosts on a specific instance via ALLOW_LOCAL_AI_PRIVATE_HOSTS=true — that's how self-hosted Ollama / LM Studio stays usable without exposing the SSRF surface by default. MED-2 — Race in POST /api/admin/feedback/[id]/github Two concurrent admin clicks both saw gitHubIssueUrl=null and both created duplicate GitHub issues. Atomic claim now: a single updateMany({ where: { id, gitHubIssueUrl: null }, data: PENDING }) — only the caller whose count=1 proceeds. PENDING is released on failure so retries work. Tests + typecheck green. Baseline lint unchanged. * fix: i18n completeness + UX polish (closes #73, #74) (#75) * fix(i18n,ux): package A — missing keys, chart labels, query invalidation, admin error UX Addresses bugs surfaced in issues #73 and #74 plus drift found during audit. All pass. Main's merge re-introduced the pre-refactor blocker blocks referencing undefined statusLoading/AlertCircle and broke the build.
