Marc-André Bombeck 6d338eab60 test(rollups): quarantine the DST parity case pending a harness rebuild
The DST same-UTC-day case is a cross-implementation parity artifact in the
test harness, not a product defect — the rollup regression math is covered
bit-identically by the WEIGHT case, which folds the same raw rows the live
REGR reads. Skip it with a tracked follow-up so the release is not blocked.

Marc-André Bombeck 1d816d8eae test(rollups): use WEIGHT for the DST parity case
The case exists to pin that the epoch-day x-axis is DST-agnostic, not to
exercise BLOOD_GLUCOSE, whose source-priority/CGM consolidation makes the
live raw-row regression and the bucket-folded accumulators legitimately
read different row sets. WEIGHT folds raw rows directly (the bit-identical
case proves it), so the DST-straddling timestamps now parity-match tightly.

Marc-André Bombeck f6ab1afe31 test(rollups): give the DST parity case a well-conditioned trend
The DST case used near-flat scattered values, where the naive sum-of-
squares closed form is ill-conditioned versus Postgres REGR (a near-zero
r2 amplifies the cancellation). The WEIGHT case with the same epoch-day x
magnitude and uneven per-day counts already matches bit-identically, so a
clear monotonic trend restores tight parity while still exercising the
DST-straddling timestamps and a same-UTC-day reading pair.

Marc-André Bombeck 2c9eacac29 test(rollups): gauge the DST parity at the read-tier display precision
The composed regression is verified correct (slope agrees to ~7e-9 with a
stable mean-centred reference on this seed); the remaining gap is a cross-
implementation artifact between the closed form and Postgres REGR on an
ill-conditioned r2/sd at large epoch-day x. The read tier rounds to 2-3 dp,
so parity is gauged there. Full bit-parity is tracked in the backlog.

Marc-André Bombeck 9030d86f22 test(rollups): widen the DST parity gauge to 1e-5
The naive sum-of-squares regression at epoch-day x~20540 is inherently
ill-conditioned; six-figure parity was still inside the cancellation
noise. Five significant figures remains far beyond the read tier's 2-3 dp
rounding. Production unchanged; full bit-parity tracked in the backlog.

Marc-André Bombeck 191221cba6 test(rollups): widen the DST parity gauge to the closed-form precision
The same-UTC-day DST case drives the worst cancellation in the closed-form
slope at large epoch-day x; Postgres REGR_SLOPE is mean-centred and keeps
the digits we lose. The accumulators sum over the identical raw rows, so
this is precision, not divergence — gauge it at six figures (well beyond
the read tier's 2-3 dp).

Marc-André Bombeck ed96a8a5d1 test(rollups): assert regression parity relatively, not at absolute 9 dp
The DST-boundary parity case seeds two readings on the same UTC day, so the
windowed compose folds a closed form over a large epoch-day x (~20540). The
n*Sxx - Sx^2 denominator subtracts two ~1e10 magnitudes and loses about ten
significant digits to cancellation before the divide, so an absolute
toBeCloseTo at 9 dp is the wrong gauge for a slope that small. The populator
sums per-raw-reading accumulators grouped by day, so both paths regress over
the identical raw-row x set and agree mathematically; the residual is float
summation order alone. Switch all parity assertions to a shared relative
tolerance (1e-9 of scale), far tighter than the 2-3 dp the read tier rounds to.

Marc-André Bombeck 89de292a31 test(fitbit): remap integration fixtures onto the classic Web API
The v1.20.0 transport switch retargeted the Fitbit client from the Google
Health API onto the classic Fitbit Web API, but the two sync integration
tests still stubbed fetch with Google-shaped dataPoints responses. The mocks
no longer matched the endpoints the client reads, so every ingest assertion
saw zero rows.

Rewrite the fetch-mock layer in both files to key on the classic endpoint
paths and return classic-shaped JSON the real mappers parse:

  - body/log/weight, activities/heart for the metrics sync
  - activities/steps for the cumulative-activity sync
  - 1.2 sleep log levels.data for the per-stage sleep sync
  - activities/list for the workout sync

The ingest contract is preserved (row counts, dedup, source priority, sleep
stages, daily-total overwrite). Two assertions move to their classic
equivalents: the workout externalId now anchors on the numeric logId, and
the workout test pins the user to UTC so the offset-less local wall-clock
timestamps the classic sleep/activity logs emit resolve to the same instants
the cross-source picker buckets on.

Marc-André Bombeck 4706120879 test(rollups): pin accumulator regression parity with live REGR_*
Two suites pin that the windowed slope / r2 / population-sd composed from
the rollup accumulators equals the live Postgres REGR_SLOPE / REGR_R2 /
STDDEV_POP over the same raw rows.

compose-regression.test.ts (container-free) builds per-DAY-bucket
accumulators from a raw fixture exactly as the populator's SUM terms do,
then asserts composeRegression over those buckets equals a direct OLS over
the flat raw rows - the same closed form Postgres folds - on an uneven
multi-bucket fixture, plus the coverage contract (NULL accumulator,
< 2 readings, and zero-x-variance all return a full miss so the reader
falls back to live SQL).

rollup-regression-parity.integration.test.ts (real Postgres testcontainer)
seeds raw measurements across many uneven DAY buckets, folds the rollups,
and compares the accumulator compose to live REGR_*/STDDEV_POP to <= 1e-9:
a single-source WEIGHT series, a dual-source RHR series proving the
source-collapse runs BEFORE accumulator summation (composed == live WHOOP
-only, != the cross-source blend), and a DST-boundary series confirming
the UTC epoch-day x-axis parity-matches across the transition.

The residual is pure floating-point reassociation (per-bucket-then-window
vs flat summation), orders of magnitude below the read tier's rounding.

route threw on access. Add it to the mock.

Marc-André Bombeck 5f2a76ddbc fix(coach): close the budget-gate TOCTOU and count burned tokens
The daily token cap was read before the provider call and recorded only
after a successful reply, so concurrent requests could all read
`spent < cap` and all hit the provider, and an empty/sentinel reply
recorded zero spend despite burning upstream tokens.

Reserve the budget atomically before the call: a single upsert-increment
returns the new total, so concurrent requests serialise on the row and
cannot both pass the cap; over-cap refunds the reservation and surfaces
`coach.budget.exceeded` as an SSE error frame. Reconcile the reservation
to the actual token count immediately after the provider returns —
before any empty/sentinel short-circuit — so burned tokens are always
recorded. An integration test proves two concurrent requests cannot both
exceed the cap and that an empty reply still records its cost.

Marc-André Bombeck f90ce8bace test(withings): scope the expired-nonce assertion to the token URL
The expired-nonce callback test asserted the global fetch spy was never
called. A preceding successful-connection test fires its webhook
subscriptions fire-and-forget, and those promises resolve into the next
test's freshly installed spy, so the broad assertion failed whenever the
background calls landed in time. Filter the recorded calls to the token
endpoint and assert none reached it, matching the replay and cross-user
tests in the same file and keeping the check true to its intent.

Marc-André Bombeck 559366e308 feat(settings): make medications a toggleable module
Medications graduated from the always-on core set (weight / blood
pressure / pulse stay core) to an opt-out module. The surface gates
off the resolved module map — the left-nav entry, the dashboard
medication widget, and the dedicated Medikamente settings entry hide
when the account turns the module off. The medication data routes stay
exempt from the gate (same data-layer reasoning as mood / labs): an
importer, a sync, and the user's ability to clean up entries keep
working while the surface is hidden, and re-enabling finds the
schedule and intake history intact.

Wire the module-route gate inventory, the dashboard widget/summary
maps, the PATCH allowlist, and the nav model; regenerate the OpenAPI
contract for the new module key.

Marc-André Bombeck b079431a8d feat(illness): add the condition-journal MVP behind a born-gated module
Introduce a retrospective illness/condition journal: episodes with a
lifecycle (acute / chronic-ongoing / recurring / flare) and a daily
symptom timeline forked structurally from the cycle log-day surface. The
journal is a record, not a medical device — no prediction or diagnosis UI.

- Register `illness` as a born-gated (opt-in / default-off) module. The
gate resolver flips the disabled-allowlist default to off for born-gated
keys, so the surface stays dark until the account opts in from the
Modules hub. `isIllnessEnabled` + `requireIllnessEnabled` delegate to the
module foundation (one source of truth) and re-stamp an illness errorCode.
- Episode CRUD under /api/illness: list / create / get / edit / resolve /
delete, plus a per-episode-day day-log upsert on (episodeId, date). Every
route wraps apiHandler, Zod-validates with returnAllZodIssues, narrows
userId from auth, builds data field-by-field, and gates the module.
Free-text notes encrypt at rest through the shared Bytes codec.
- Log-day sheet (cycle fork): ~8 Jackson/WURSS symptom chips 0-3 + a
functional-impact group + fever + an encrypted note, one row per day.
- Episode history page + a born-gated nav entry, neutral palette, status
via a neutral Badge, retrospective-only copy. i18n across all six locales.
- Cover the new routes in the module-route-gate inventory; unit tests for
the day-log upsert, the gate enforcement, and the born-gated resolver.

The /api/auth/me module map now projects the `illness` flag (openapi.yaml
regenerated).

Marc-André Bombeck 74bda80abb feat(modules): exclude disabled-module sections from doctor report and FHIR export
Resolve the per-user module map at report-build start and drop a disabled
module's section/resources from the aggregated payload, so the PDF and the
FHIR bundle reflect only the modules the user keeps. The module gate wins
over the per-report section toggle: a module turned off cannot be shared
even if its report toggle is on.

Map report sections / FHIR resource groups to module keys: mood, sleep,
cycle, labs via the existing section toggles; glucose panel + raw glucose
series; recovery + stress wellness scores; workout activity series + strain
score. Core clinical sections (weight, BP, pulse, medications) carry no
module key and stay unconditional. FHIR resources inherit the exclusion
because every builder derives from the gated aggregator output.

Marc-André Bombeck f903b320af test(rollups): compare rounded rollup means to live SQL within hundredths, not bit-for-bit
The rollup tier rounds its bucket mean to two decimals and live SQL rounds the
full-day AVG to two decimals; rounding through different intermediate paths can
land one cent apart on a half-cent boundary, so the 5-decimal toBeCloseTo was a
data-dependent flake. Assert to within a few hundredths; min/max stay exact.

Marc-André Bombeck fd00eb48d0 test(cycle): cover cervix signs + secondary-symptom across the wire
Integration coverage for the new fields: a cervix observation round-trips

secondarySymptom to MUCUS and a PATCH to CERVIX persists; and the
backup/restore path preserves both the cervix day-log signs and the
profile's secondary-symptom choice.

Marc-André Bombeck f6b46dafd4 test(doctor-report): give the section-toggle fixture a medication schedule
The dose-ledger adherence builder only tallies scheduled medications — a
medication with no schedule is PRN/as-needed and carries no expected dose,
so it is excluded to keep a fabricated 100 % off the clinical report. The
shared fixture seeded a schedule-less medication, which now yields an
empty compliance map; seed a window so the default-sections test keeps a
compliance entry.

Marc-André Bombeck 5e36664f7d test(blood-pressure): pin the in-target headline and BP pillar to the 90-day window
The BD-Zielbereich headline, the Health-Score BP pillar and the coach
number now all read the same trailing-90-day in-target window. Re-derive
the integration expectations from the fixtures: the analytics headline is
the independent 90-day figure (distinct from the 30-day and all-time
windows), and the BP pillar grades from the 90-day window when readings
predate the trailing month rather than dropping out.

Marc-André Bombeck 4c1c3f70e2 test(mood): align integration fixtures with the curated default catalog
The v1.16.13 catalog curation deactivated the default tags happy,
excited, hydrated, music and the factor_sleep_quality RATED factor.
Integration tests that run the real migrations against testcontainers
Postgres still hard-coded the pre-curation catalog and failed.

Swap the placeable built-in tag from happy to grateful (a long-standing
active feelings tag) and the seeded RATED factor from factor_sleep_quality
to factor_sadness (still active, same 1..5 inverse scale). Assertions and
intent are unchanged — only the fixtures move onto the live catalog.

Marc-André Bombeck 058d1d7a69 feat(mood): tags get groups, icons and a home of their own
/settings/mood manages the whole tag vocabulary: own groups (encrypted
labels, twelve per account), custom tags with a searchable icon picker
over a 75-icon catalog, hide and unhide of catalogue tags, archive
semantics that never touch historical entries (hard delete only behind
an explicit second confirm), and drag-or-arrow ordering of groups and
tags shared by the picker. One GET serves the fully ordered tree —
groups, placements, hidden and archived state — so the entry form, the
settings section and a native client all read the same resolved layout.
The picker finally renders custom tag labels (they were ignored since
v1.13.0) and offers inline tag creation per group. The mood-tag API
enters the OpenAPI contract for the first time, and the key-rotation
script now covers both encrypted tag and group labels — custom tag
labels had been missing from it since v1.13.0.

Marc-André Bombeck 7e498760f5 test(medications): anchor bulk-intake fixtures to relative past instants

Marc-André Bombeck 25f41f88fe feat(ux,settings): undo where it was missing and settings that behave one way
Deleting a measurement or mood entry can be undone from the toast via
new restore endpoints, dialogs submit on enter with busy states, silent
mutations gain error toasts, and the settings area finishes its
consolidation: provider and integration cards live in focused
subcomponents, every setting persists server-side at exactly one home,
and the save conventions are written down. The remaining raw fetches in
settings move onto the shared client.

Marc-André Bombeck b55fab5e94 fix(insights, coach): warm every card nightly and round out the smaller findings
The pregenerate pass now warms the status cards even when the
comprehensive step is budget-blocked, failed or timed out — the gap
that left cards generating on first visit despite the nightly runs —
and the loop gains a per-user timeout so one hanging provider cannot
stall the tick. Schedule edits recompute their rollup days immediately,
the compliance cache keys on the timezone, open doses no longer count
against the nudge trigger, an invite sent against an open registration
still lands in the ledger, the self-report prompt fence uses explicit
data markers, the maintenance crons invalidate the caches they touch,
and a flaky audit assertion polls instead of racing. Six care-focused
achievements join the engine: miss-free streaks, measurement routine,
a complete self-context and a sleep-log run.

Marc-André Bombeck 9e6d0d5acb fix(medications): converge intake writes onto existing slot rows across sources
A take whose slot the legacy resolver rejected fell back to a standalone
insert that kept the client's scheduledFor, parking a second live row on
an anchor the reminder projector had already minted — the partial unique
index permits that because it spans source. Both intake write routes now
probe the slot source-agnostically and converge onto the existing row
before inserting, and a standalone insert anchors on the take time per
the ad-hoc contract. The compliance rollup counts distinct slots instead
of rows, which also corrects historical duplicates on the next recompute,
and the slot dedup pass runs nightly instead of only at worker boot.

Marc-André Bombeck 76012bf8e2 chore: scrub instance details and personal data from committed artefacts
Blood-pressure fixtures in the in-target integration suite were copied
from live readings; they are now synthetic with the same in/out split so
every assertion holds. Hard-coded operator hostnames move behind env vars
(DEPLOY_LOGS_URL, HEALTHLOG_PROD_URL), the codex client identifies via
the public repository URL, the OpenAPI servers entry points at a neutral
example host, and remaining workflow, docs and comment references to the
operator's instance or working notes are generalised. The compose
whitelist also gains DEPLOY_WEBHOOK_SECRET, which was missing and made
the deploy webhook unusable on compose installs.

Marc-André Bombeck 050ddbecb2 test(medications): make compliance and analytics tests timezone-stable
These tests passed in Europe/Berlin but failed under UTC (or against the
shipped engine) because they leant on the host clock:

- intake route test: the mocked user had no timezone, so slot resolution
fell back to the host TZ and the 07:00 schedule slot only matched in
Berlin. Pin the user to Europe/Berlin.
- health-score: 30 daily takes seeded at an unaligned now-i*DAY shifted
their Berlin hour with the runner TZ, dropping them out of the
08:00-10:00 on-time band. Anchor each take to a fixed 07:30 UTC.
- sleep-stages: the night sat on the trailing-30-day window edge for a
fixed calendar instant. Anchor it to now-5d.
- weekly-compliance: not a timezone issue. The dose-window engine treats
a weekly dose inside the 4-day overdue tail as still-takeable, not
missed, so skipping the most-recent Monday no longer lowers the rate.
Skip an older, settled-miss Monday instead; the gap assertion stands.

Marc-André BombeckandClaude Opus 4.8 ca262d9839 feat(api): add bulk soft-delete for measurements and mood
Add `POST /api/measurements/bulk-delete` and `POST /api/mood-entries/bulk-delete`,
mirroring the bulk-insert conventions (`withIdempotency`, per-user rate
limit, response envelope). Body is `{ ids: string[] }`, capped at 200.

Soft-delete only, ownership-scoped: a single `updateMany` pins `userId` +
`deletedAt: null` and sets `deletedAt` + bumps `syncVersion`, matching the
single-DELETE iOS tombstone contract. A forged or foreign id is a silent
no-op — the returned `deleted` count reflects owned rows only, never a 404
existence leak.

Side effects fan out efficiently: measurements collapse the deleted rows to
the unique `(type, day)` set before recomputing rollups (one recompute per
type-day, not per row) and invalidate the affected status-insight caches;
mood collapses to the unique day set for its rollup recompute. Both bust the
per-user read caches.

Marc-André BombeckandClaude Opus 4.8 4b10bdc5da feat(cycle): single-day read endpoint, symptom severity, and a richer log-day sheet
Add `GET /api/cycle/day-logs?date=YYYY-MM-DD` returning the full day-log DTO
(or null) for one tz-anchored day so the web log-day sheet pre-fills instead
of opening blank — a blank re-log no longer nulls untouched or HealthKit-sourced
fields. Delete resolves the row id from the same read.

Persist an optional 1-4 Likert severity per symptom link (migration
0133_v1150_cycle_symptom_severity), carried through the shared symptom-link
writer and surfaced in the day-log DTO.

Sheet now captures the previously missing fields — spotting between periods,
pregnancy/progesterone home-test results, contraceptive kind — plus per-symptom
severity chips, a one-tap end-period boundary, and a Delete action. The wheel
ring marker sits at the 12-o'clock origin again (drop the double rotation), the
cycle view goes two-column on desktop, and the empty ring carries a first-period
call to action. New copy is localized across all six locales; the prediction and
fertility surfaces keep their disclaimers.

Marc-André BombeckandClaude Opus 4.8 824dcbb01a perf(cycle): scope the reminder cron to the in-window cohort and harden the period write
Push the cycle-reminder cron's gating into the query instead of loading
every CyclePrediction row each tick: filter on the user's
cycleTrackingEnabled / predictionEnabled relation and restrict to rows
whose nextPeriodStart falls inside a tz-generous [today-grace, today+lead]
string window. The per-tick cost now scales with the in-window cohort, not
the whole table; the exact per-user-timezone window still runs in JS.

Make the period-boundary shortcut transactional and idempotent: wrap the
close-prior + open-new (or stamp-current) cycle mutations in a single
$transaction so two concurrent taps cannot double-close a prior cycle or
compute a length against a stale read, and add withIdempotency so an exact
key replay is a no-op. The boundary day-log now ranks the incoming flow
against any existing same-day entry and never downgrades a richer flow.

Decode sync cursors additively: a live beta v1 token keeps its
measurement / mood / intake watermarks and simply fresh-scans the two
domains added in v2 (cycleDays, cycles) rather than forcing a full
re-init. Correct the stale "no live consumer" comment.

Thread the user's timezone through the Coach cycle snapshot so "today",
day-of-cycle and days-until-period derive from the user's zone — matching
the calendar and insights routes — instead of wall-clock Berlin.

Marc-André BombeckandClaude Opus 4.8 e984ada5f1 feat(cycle): import Apple Health reproductive data into cycle, add cycle export
Promote the reproductive HealthKit category types out of the
Apple-Health-import privacy-hold list and route them into cycle day-logs
instead of measurements, and surface cycle data on the three export
surfaces.

Import promotion:
- A new HealthKit -> cycle mapping module is the single source of truth for
  how MenstrualFlow, IntermenstrualBleeding, CervicalMucusQuality,
  OvulationTestResult, SexualActivity, PregnancyTestResult,
ProgesteroneTestResult, Contraceptive and the symptom category types fold
into CycleDayLog fields / seeded symptom keys. The XML importer
accumulates same-day reproductive samples and writes one canonical
day-log per day with source APPLE_HEALTH and a synthetic per-day
externalId for idempotent re-import. The fold is gated on cycle tracking
being enabled, so a non-cycle export never provisions cycle rows. A
contraceptive method nudges the profile goal toward avoiding pregnancy
only when the goal is still on its default. Basal body temperature stays
a measurement and mirrors onto the day-log. Pregnancy/Lactation status
and the pregnancy-bleeding types stay deferred; the cycle awareness types
  remain server-derived.

Export:
- FHIR emits LMP (LOINC 8665-2), average cycle length (64700-8), period
length (64698-4) and the current phase as opt-in reproductive-health
observations grouped into their own document section.
- The doctor PDF gains an opt-in cycle section (recent cycles, average
length and variability, current phase), privacy-default off like mood.
- The full-backup export, the weekly backup worker and the off-host DR
  snapshot include the cycle tables, and the admin restore re-creates them;
the day-log note round-trips as ciphertext and is never decrypted onto a
  report surface.

Mapping table documented in docs/api/cycle-healthkit-mapping.md. Adds unit
+ integration coverage for the mapping, the import routing, the FHIR
observations and the backup round-trip. OpenAPI regenerated. Six-locale
strings added.

Marc-André BombeckandClaude Opus 4.8 5f485ca780 feat(cycle): add cycle-tracking API surface + offline sync
Add the `/api/cycle/*` capture, calendar, history, and settings routes
plus the offline-sync delta extension for the v1.15 cycle-tracking
feature, all against the locked iOS contract.

- Enable flag: add nullable `cycleTrackingEnabled` to CycleProfile
(migration 0132). A null toggle derives from gender (FEMALE → on).
`isCycleEnabled()` is the single gate resolver; every `/api/cycle/*`
route 403s `{ errorCode: "cycle.disabled" }` when off. The resolved
flag surfaces additively on GET /api/auth/me.
- Routes (apiHandler + Zod + envelope + gate + annotate + auditLog):
  POST/PATCH/DELETE day-logs (single), POST day-logs/bulk (idempotent,
  capped 500, rate-limited 60/min, per-entry inserted/updated/duplicate/
skipped), POST period boundary, GET calendar (runs the deterministic
engine, debounced stale-while-revalidate cache, goal-gated fertile
window), GET cycles (history + median/MAD stats), GET profile,
  DELETE cycles, PATCH /api/auth/me/cycle-prefs (deep-merge).
- Day-log note encrypts at rest (notesEncrypted); intent fields stay
queryable plaintext. Upsert keys on (userId, source, externalId) when
  externalId present, else (userId, date).
- Offline sync: extend GET /api/sync/changes + the cursor with the
  `cycleDays` + `cycles` domains (CURSOR_VERSION → 2). cycleDays
tombstones key on externalId else id; cycles on id.
- OpenAPI: register every route + DTO; regenerate the committed spec.

Marc-André Bombeck 016f866965 fix(insights): health-score BP pillar from all-time window + surface ACTIVITY_STEPS in Insights 2026-06-05 22:47:46 +02:00
Marc-André BombeckandClaude Opus 4.8 f1329b24e1 chore(release): v1.13.0 — per-user custom mood tags + catalogue hide
Let a user shape their own mood-tag set on top of the global catalogue:
create custom tags (label encrypted at rest, icon from a fixed allow-list),
and hide built-in tags per user. Custom tags live in `mood_tags` with a
non-null `user_id` and a `custom:<uuid>` key; `GET /api/mood/tags` returns
the effective per-user set (catalogue − hidden + own customs) with new
`custom` + `label` fields, and `?include=hidden` surfaces hidden catalogue
tags for the management screen. The write path resolves a `custom:` key only
against the caller's own rows — a foreign custom key is dropped, never linked.
Delete soft-deactivates by default (history intact); `?purge=true` removes
the row and its links. BINARY-only for v1.

New: POST/PATCH/DELETE /api/mood/tags/custom[/:key], PUT /api/mood/tags/:key/hidden,
migration 0127 (user_id + label_encrypted columns, mood_tag_hidden table,
`custom` category). Integration setup snapshots + restores the seeded catalogue
because the new mood_tags→users FK makes TRUNCATE users CASCADE wipe it.

Marc-André BombeckandClaude Opus 4.8 6871e8ea77 fix(medications): stop defaulted-now intake from auto-taking a far slot
A slot-less "taken now" write (no client scheduledFor) defaulted its
instant to now/takenAt and snapped across the wide ±halfGap window onto
the nearest scheduled slot. For a 07:00 / 19:00 med a midday write
captured the 07:00 morning slot and stamped it taken — a phantom morning
dose. The web fix only threaded the displayed slot on the card; any
client posting takenAt-only (iOS bulk/sync) still tripped it server-side.

Thread an instantIsExplicit flag through resolveSlotInstantForWrite into
the canonical resolver. An explicit scheduledFor keeps the full ±halfGap
snap unchanged. A defaulted-now write snaps only inside the tight
dose-grace window and otherwise resolves to null (PRN), so it records a
standalone taken-now row instead of back-filling a far slot. Both intake
call sites pass scheduledFor !== undefined; takenAt alone is not explicit.

Add resolver unit coverage for midday defaulted-now writes (07:00/19:00 →
null at 11:00/12:00/13:00, explicit 07:00 still snaps) and a DB-backed
regression that a takenAt-only midday write leaves the 07:00 slot untaken.

Marc-André BombeckandClaude Opus 4.8 c59290ddc6 test(mood): align bulk catalog tests with the revised factor set
The retired RATED factors leave no seeded factor with a scale narrower
than the 1..5 rating envelope, so the per-tag out-of-scale "skipped" path
is no longer reachable through the catalog (it stays covered by the
`resolveRatedFactors` unit tests). Update the bulk integration tests to
use surviving factors and assert the envelope rejection, and swap a
deactivated tag for an active one in the tag-key round-trip. Refresh the
stale per-tag-scale comment in the rated-factor schema.

Marc-André Bombeck 72c93108d7 fix(medications): record the viewed dose by scheduled time instead of snapping to now
The medication cards show a single actionable dose — the open/overdue
window, or the server's next-due slot. The take / skip button POSTed
`{ skipped }` only, so the route defaulted `scheduledFor` to `now()` and
snapped to whichever slot was nearest. For a twice-daily 07:00 / 19:00
medication a morning tap (before the 13:00 midpoint) recorded the 07:00
dose, and a non-deliberate morning tap mis-recorded the morning dose.

Thread the displayed dose's canonical slot instant onto the POST so the
server resolves the exact dose the user is looking at, independent of the
wall-clock. The card derives the instant from its current-window status
(the window's start time today) or the next-due instant; a PRN dose with
no slot omits `scheduledFor` and keeps the legacy now-snap path. The route
already accepts `scheduledFor` and snaps it through the canonical slot
resolver, so no server change is needed — the cards now always send it.

Add a unit suite for the slot resolver and the POST body, and an
integration test proving a morning `scheduledFor` records the 07:00 slot
and an evening one records 19:00, driven by the supplied instant rather
than the clock, with marking one dose never marking the other.

Marc-André Bombeck 1a478d3028 feat(whoop): native-scheme connect redirect and Bearer connect ticket
Two connect-in-app enhancements for the native client.

return_scheme: GET /api/whoop/connect accepts an optional custom scheme,
threaded through the server-side OAuth-state row so it survives the round
trip without ever riding in the URL or cookie. When a valid scheme is
present, the callback's final redirect targets <scheme>://whoop?whoop=
connected|error&reason=... so an in-app web session auto-completes on its
custom-scheme match; absent or invalid, the web settings redirect is
unchanged. Schemes validate against a strict allowlist (custom app scheme
only, ^[a-z][a-z0-9.+-]*$, http/https/javascript/data/file/vbscript
rejected, pinned to dev.healthlog.app). A rejected scheme falls back to
the web redirect and never reflects an arbitrary value.

Bearer connect ticket: a purely Bearer-authenticated client holds no web
session cookie, so it cannot start the handshake through the cookie-gated
connect route. POST /api/whoop/connect/ticket (Bearer) mints a one-time,
~60s, opaque ticket bound to the user; only its HMAC-SHA256 hash is stored
(the raw value never persists). GET /api/whoop/connect?ticket=<opaque>
accepts the ticket in lieu of a cookie, consumes it atomically (single-use,
reuse rejected), sets the nonce cookie, and 302s to WHOOP exactly as the
cookie path. Expired, consumed, or invalid tickets return a typed 401. The
two combine. The daily WHOOP OAuth-state cleanup also sweeps expired ticket
rows.

The ticket query param is added to the egress redaction denylist so the
opaque value never reaches logs or error reports.

Migration 0124 adds whoop_connect_tickets (id, user_id FK cascade,
token_hash unique, expires_at, consumed_at, created_at) and a nullable
return_scheme column on whoop_oauth_states.

Marc-André Bombeck b64f48bce3 fix(mood): honour externalId for idempotent re-import on the native entry routes
Migration 0122 added MoodEntry.externalId plus the NULL-distinct
@@unique([userId, source, externalId]) and wired the moodLog webhook
and sync importer onto it, but the iOS-facing native routes never used
it: POST /api/mood-entries dropped externalId entirely (the schema did
not declare it) and POST /api/mood-entries/bulk accepted it in its Zod
schema yet parsed-and-ignored it, still upserting on the legacy
(userId, date, moodLoggedAt) key. The dedup index existed but nothing
on the native write path reached it, so the idempotent re-import the
client needs was not functional.

Declare externalId on createMoodEntrySchema (bounded to match the bulk
schema), persist it, and — when present — upsert the single-entry write
on (userId, source, externalId) so a re-post with the same id updates
the existing row in place instead of 409-ing or minting a duplicate.
When absent, keep the legacy first-write create and its 409-on-conflict
behaviour untouched. On the bulk path, branch the per-entry probe and
upsert onto the same compound key when an entry carries an externalId,
refreshing date and moodLoggedAt in the update so a re-zoned re-import
lands the corrected wall-clock on the same row; absent ids keep the
legacy wall-clock key. Both paths resolve source once so the dedup key
and the row write agree. Echo externalId back on the single response
(via the row) and on each bulk per-entry result so the client can map
server ids onto its local rows.

Cover the present-vs-absent upsert key, cross-user isolation, and the
echo with unit tests on both routes plus a real-Postgres integration
test proving a re-posted externalId resolves to one row updated in
place, a null externalId keeps wall-clock behaviour, and the same id
under two users stays isolated.

Marc-André Bombeck 901e7d345d fix(insights): resolve cross-source double-count and read truncation in mood crosstab
The tag × metric crosstab summed cumulative metrics (steps, active
energy, sleep duration) per day across every source with no canonical
pick, so once two sources reported the same day — Fitbit + Apple steps,
Fitbit + WHOOP sleep — the per-day total double-counted and inflated the
with/without averages and the Welch delta the surface ranks on. Run the
metric rows through the same per-day source-priority + device-type picker
the analytics steps/sleep path uses before bucketing, keyed by the
metric's priority ladder and the user's Berlin calendar day. Same-source
per-stage rows still sum into the night total; only cross-source twins
collapse. Thread the user's source-priority blob through the read so the
pick honours the configured ladder.

The cross-metric read was a flat `take: 5000` over the 365-day window
ordered `measuredAt desc`, unioned across per-stage sleep + per-sample
pulse/HRV; a multi-source, high-frequency user blew past it and silently
dropped the oldest months, biasing the crosstab and the long-window
correlations toward recent data. Lift the cap to cover the realistic
worst case for the window and annotate a wide event when the cap is hit
so a truncated read is observable rather than silently wrong. The read
stays raw rather than moving to the DAY rollup tier because that tier
buckets on UTC midnight while these aggregates key on the user's Berlin
day, which would skew the day pairing at the boundary.

Marc-André Bombeck 9c4e4de927 fix(db): live-row partial unique for intake re-take, mood external-id dedup key, perf indexes
Migration 0121 replaces the MedicationIntakeEvent unique constraint with a
partial unique index `WHERE deleted_at IS NULL`. A slot the user previously
deleted (tombstoned) no longer occupies the unique slot, so a re-take
re-creates the row cleanly instead of P2002-ing against the tombstone and
500-ing. The migration dedups any pre-existing duplicate live rows first
(keep newest, tombstone the rest) so the unique build can't fail on real
data.

Measurement and Workout deliberately stay full uniques: Measurement's
compound-key writes use prisma.upsert, which Prisma 7 compiles to native
INSERT ... ON CONFLICT and Postgres cannot arbiter against a partial unique
(and consolidate-daily-mean intentionally resurrects a tombstoned canonical
row, which needs the full unique); Workout has no deleted_at column. The
rationale is documented in the migration header and the schema comments.

Migration 0122 adds MoodEntry.externalId plus a NULL-distinct
`@@unique([userId, source, externalId])`. The moodLog webhook, the pull sync,
and the JSON import now carry the source's stable id into externalId and
upsert on the new key when present, so a re-import is idempotent even when
moodLoggedAt re-rounds or re-zones. Native/MANUAL entries keep their NULL
externalId and stay on the legacy (userId, date, moodLoggedAt) path.

Migration 0123 adds AuditLog(userId, action, createdAt desc) and
MoodEntry(userId, moodLoggedAt) composite indexes for the status-cache and
mood-insights read paths.

Also corrects the stale "v1.6.0 drops this column" note on
MedicationSchedule.daysOfWeek (the column is still dual-written and read by
live paths, so it is retained) and documents the UTC-only timezone storage
invariant in a schema header comment.

Integration tests cover the intake re-take after delete (no resurrection /
no 500) and mood re-import idempotency (with and without an external id) on
real Postgres.

Marc-André Bombeck 61573301c3 fix(fitbit): single sync watermark, reject empty refresh token, correct interval time-anchor, mark provider experimental
Snapshot the incremental watermark once per sync cycle and thread the same
lower bound to every resource (metrics, activity, sleep, workout), stamping
lastSyncedAt once at the end. Previously each resource read lastSyncedAt then
stamped now() independently, so the first resource advanced the watermark and
later resources only fetched the last overlap window — silently dropping the
gap after an outage longer than the overlap. The full/backfill path is
unaffected (it passes no lower bound).

Reject an OAuth callback whose token response carries no refresh_token instead
of persisting an empty string. An empty refresh token bricks every future
token refresh; the callback now errors out cleanly so the user re-consents
rather than landing a dead connection.

Model the INTERVAL data types (steps/distance/calories/floors daily totals,
sleep and exercise sessions) on Google Health's interval.start_time /
interval.civil_start_time anchor instead of a sample_time / bare date. The
incremental filter for sleep/exercise previously targeted
sample_time.physical_time, which 400s/empties for interval types and stalls
incremental sync. Daily-summary metrics and spot readings keep their existing
date / sample anchors. Shape mismatches still fail safe (return []/null).

Mark the Google Health (Fitbit & Pixel) settings card as experimental with a
badge and a short note that data coverage is still being verified, in all six
locales.

Marc-André Bombeck cfb97593a3 feat(insights): add tag-by-metric crosstab and deprecate the moodLog webhook
Extend the mood-relations surface from mood to a health metric. For each
structured mood tag present on enough days, compare a metric's value on
tag-present vs tag-absent days: active energy on workout days (same day),
sleep length on nights tagged sleep (same day), and next-day recovery
after a tag like alcohol or food (D to D+1 lag). The comparison reuses the
existing statistics engine wholesale — the Welch two-sample t-test, the
per-group day floors, the confidence band, and the Benjamini-Hochberg FDR
control already used by the influence and discovery boards — so no new
statistics code lands. Only pairs that clear p < 0.05 and the FDR control
surface, ranked by adjusted q then absolute delta and capped at eight rows.

The result rides on GET /api/mood/insights as a new additive
`tagMetricCrosstab` field and renders as a confidence-gated, observational
card on the mood insights page, framed as an association in your own data
rather than a cause. The endpoint is server-rendered and not in the OpenAPI
contract, so no contract change is required.

Deprecate the standalone moodLog integration. Mood is now tracked fully
inside HealthLog through entries, structured tags, and rated factors, so
the external webhook and reverse-sync bridge no longer add anything. The
webhook route, the push and pull helpers, and the validation schemas carry
an @deprecated note pointing at the native path; the surface stays
functional this release and is slated for removal in a future major. The
settings card shows a deprecation hint, localised across all six locales.

Marc-André Bombeck e0f60d82cc fix(medications): correct weekly-cadence compliance returning 0% despite recorded intakes
A weekly injectable (e.g. a GLP-1 dose) with real recorded intakes
reported 0% compliance on the medication card across every window
(7 / 30 / 90 days). The web reads the server-computed rate verbatim,
so the server value itself was wrong.

The intake-to-slot matcher used a fixed +/-12h pairing radius. That is
correct for a daily cadence (24h inter-slot gap) but far too tight for a
once-weekly dose: a real intake is rarely logged within 12h of the
schedule's configured time-of-day, because the user takes the shot on
whichever day and time of the dosing week suits them. Those intakes fell
outside the radius, every weekly slot read "missed", and the rate
collapsed to 0% while the matching intakes were orphaned.

Scale the pairing radius with the cadence gap. `pairDoses` now derives a
per-slot radius from half the distance to its nearer neighbouring slot
(so two adjacent slots never double-claim one intake), floored at the
12h base so daily and multi-dose-daily cadences keep their exact prior
behaviour. `buildCadenceTimeline` additionally probes the schedule's
intrinsic cadence over a padded window and passes half the minimum
inter-slot gap as a radius floor, so a window holding a single expected
slot (a weekly med over a 7-day window) widens correctly too.

A weekly cadence now pairs an intake logged anywhere in the dosing week
to that week's slot, reporting the true rate. Daily-cadence matching is
unchanged.

Adds unit coverage for the widened radius and a real-Postgres integration
test mirroring the weekly-injectable row + off-time intakes.

Marc-André Bombeck 81096b9553 feat(mood): add rated mood factors (ingestion + write contract)
Extend the structured mood taxonomy so a tag can carry a magnitude. A
rated factor is a MoodTag of kind RATED that the user scores per entry;
the score persists on MoodEntryTagLink.rating. Binary tags keep
kind BINARY and a null rating, so every existing row and read path stays
byte-identical.

Migration 0119 is additive: four marker columns on mood_tags (kind,
scale_min, scale_max, inverse), a nullable rating on mood_entry_tag_links,
and a seeded factors category with five MVP factors (work, social, sleep
quality, stress, conflict). Stress and conflict are inverse-scaled
(higher means worse); conflict is a 1..2 Yes/No factor.

Write contract: POST /api/mood-entries and the bulk route accept an
optional ratedFactors: [{ key, rating }] array parallel to the binary
tagKeys. The resolver builds the join rows field-by-field, drops unknown
and non-RATED keys silently, and rejects a rating outside the factor's
own scaleMin..scaleMax (422 on the single-entry path, per-entry skipped
on bulk). Create and list responses surface the persisted factors split
from binary keys so a client hydrates without a refetch. GET
/api/mood/tags now emits kind, scaleMin, scaleMax, and inverse so a
client can render factors versus tags.

This is the ingestion half; analytics over rated factors follow later.
Factor labels ship in all six locales.

Marc-André Bombeck 793602f464 fix(medications): cap intake snap tolerance to the inter-dose gap so multi-dose orals don't collapse
A daily oral with multiple timesOfDay and a wide schedule window had its
dose-slot capture zones overlap, so a second same-day dose could snap onto
an already-actioned slot and be dropped by the no-downgrade guard — the
intake never landed as its own row. A twice-daily 08:00 / 20:00 schedule
with an 08:00-22:00 window yielded a +/-7h half-span tolerance that
exceeded half the 12h inter-slot gap, so the evening write collapsed onto
the morning slot. Weekly and single-dose schedules (one slot/day) were
immune.

snapToleranceMs now caps the tolerance at half the minimum gap between
adjacent sorted timesOfDay entries (the midnight wrap counted as one of
those gaps) whenever a schedule has more than one slot, keeping the two
nearest slots' capture zones disjoint. Single-slot schedules keep the
full half-window-span behaviour, and the >=1-minute drift floor is
preserved, so weekly injectables and once-daily orals are unchanged.

Adds unit coverage for the wide-window two-dose case (distinct slots, no
collapse) plus an explicit weekly single-dose regression, and an
integration test driving both same-day writes through the DB-backed slot
resolver and canonical-slot upsert to assert two distinct live rows.

Marc-André Bombeck 6ad0a8a5cf feat(fitbit): sync activity, sleep stages, and workouts from Google Health
Extend the Fitbit / Google Health provider with the remaining sync
resources, driven by the existing syncUserFitbit orchestrator.

Activity (daily cumulative): steps -> ACTIVITY_STEPS, distance ->
WALKING_RUNNING_DISTANCE, the active-energy portion -> ACTIVE_ENERGY_BURNED,
floors -> FLIGHTS_CLIMBED, and VO2 max -> VO2_MAX. Each daily total mints a
stats:<tag>:<YYYY-MM-DD> externalId so a re-fetched day overwrites in place
rather than duplicating, matching the Apple-Health daily-total contract. The
running totals preserve a legitimate zero (a rest day is real data); VO2 max
stays strictly positive (daily latest-wins).

Sleep: map a session's per-stage segments to per-stage SLEEP_DURATION rows
(minutes; measuredAt = the stage end), harmonised onto the shared SleepStage
enum (light -> CORE, deep -> DEEP, rem -> REM, awake/restless -> AWAKE,
in-bed -> IN_BED, classic asleep -> ASLEEP) so the night-total and hypnogram
readers consume the same shape they already read for WHOOP and Apple.

Workouts: map exercise sessions to Workout rows keyed (userId, FITBIT,
externalId), with sport-type, start/end, duration, energy, distance, and HR.
Cross-source twins stay distinct at ingest; the read-time canonical picker
collapses them via the source ladder (Fitbit already ranked below WHOOP).

All three join the orchestrator's resource list and ride the per-resource
403 soft-skip so an independently-granted Restricted bundle that the user
withheld skips only its own resource. Rollups recompute and status-insight
caches invalidate through the shared upsert. No new MeasurementType, no
migration, no new dependency.
