The two vault knobs become editable where operators already work: the
app-settings card gains the per-file upload cap (MB, 1-100, mirrors the
hard server ceiling) and the default per-account storage quota (GB,
commit-on-blur with clamped conversion to bytes); the user edit form
gains the per-user quota override (GB, empty = instance default). The
admin users list now carries the override so the form can show it.

Every next/dynamic chart import used to point at its own module, so
Turbopack emitted a separate chunk group per boundary — the production
build carried EIGHT ~312 KB copies of the recharts module graph, and
/insights (the worst-LCP route) downloaded two of them (~92 KB gz of
pure duplication, one fully unused at load).
All chart loaders now resolve the single chart-runtime barrel
(src/components/charts/chart-runtime.ts), which owns the only path to
recharts: one shared chunk group, recharts exists exactly once in the
build (verified: 8 -> 1 recharts-fingerprinted chunks), cached across
routes. Charts stay recharts and stay pixel-identical; every call site
keeps its own matching skeleton and ssr:false flag.
Riders of the same rule:
- the mood-trio barrel (mood-charts.ts, the v1.16.7 precedent this
generalises) folds into the runtime and is removed
- the vitals sparkline body extracts to delta-sparkline.tsx and loads
through the runtime; the tile keeps the fixed 40 px band, so the
async gap is an identically-sized empty box
- /cycle's BBT chart (the last static recharts import on a live route)
defers through the runtime with a card-matching skeleton
H3
Recharts tick/label/tooltip colours in the scatter-correlation chart,
the three mood charts, and the admin host-metrics chart referenced the
raw Dracula primitives (--dracula-fg / --dracula-comment), which the
light theme never overrides — near-white text on a near-white card
(~1.0:1) and an AA-failing comment gray (~2.5:1). Swap all 23 sites to
--foreground / --muted-foreground. Dark theme is pixel-identical: the
semantic tokens alias the same Dracula values there (#f8f8f2 /
#9aa3b3); light resolves to the AA-checked soft-neutral values.
H5
Migrate every remaining *-dracula-* utility site (127 lint warnings,
193 class occurrences) onto the semantic vocabulary. The swaps are
pixel-identical in both themes — each target token aliases the same
primitive the utility read, including the light-theme AA overrides:
- green/orange/cyan/red → success/warning/info/destructive
- purple → primary (same value in both themes)
- pink → the new --brand-pink token (Coach gradient, Apple-Health
badge, recording mic): dark #ff79c6 — 6.86:1 card / 5.97:1 bg;
light #a3134d — 7.32:1 card / 6.83:1 bg (computed)
- yellow sites resolve to their status meaning: warn-level log icon,
update-available pill and offline-geo hint → warning; the admin
helpful-rate ramp → success/warning/destructive; the confidence
meter mirrors the coverage-meter precedent (medium + low share the
caution tint, the lit count carries the distinction)
- the confidence-badge low tier dropped dead *-dracula-comment/*
classes (no generated utility) for border-border + bg-muted/50
Close two rule blind spots the sweep surfaced — directional borders
(border-l-dracula-red) and the parenthesised CSS-var shorthand
(bg-(--dracula-green)) — and flip healthlog/no-dracula-utility from
warn to error so the class cannot regrow. var(--dracula-*) references
in chart code stay: they are token references the light theme
overrides, and the chart palette is pinned visually.
The muted-foreground token is AA-tuned in both themes; the /70 and /80
opacity modifiers silently undid that (2.9-4.2:1 measured). Every
informational text node drops the modifier for the full token: sleep
hypnogram captions, learning-gate caveat, integration-card setup hints,
module lock notes, glucose panel and token-footer meta, invite-token
hint, wizard hint, notification channel labels and disabled notes (the
disabled state reads through the note and the disabled switches, not
through dimming), plus the resting state of the timestamp, suggestion
chip and sidebar-collapse controls. User-authored mood notes move to
foreground text-sm — user data is never muted. Decorative non-text
strokes (sparkline grid, calendar dot, titration connector) keep their
opacity; icons keep the /60 graphics floor.
Add the healthlog/no-raw-palette-color rule so UI code routes color
through the semantic tokens instead of Tailwind palette shades, and
sweep the remaining offenders (password-strength scale, injection-site
accents, redundant dark overrides). Add guard tests for width stability,
the single page-header vocabulary, and motion-reduce coverage on
indefinite animations.
The admin tree hand-rolled its card surfaces and stepped padding at sm:
instead of md:, so it read denser than every other route on a tablet.
Move the sections onto SettingsCard/SettingsCardHeader and the mini-rows
onto ListRow; no behaviour, data, or copy changes.
The Input and Textarea primitives already opted config and secret fields
out of 1Password and LastPass autofill (data-1p-ignore / data-lpignore)
whenever autocomplete was off, but Bitwarden had no opt-out hint anywhere,
so it kept offering to fill and save API keys, tokens and integration
URLs. Emit data-bwignore alongside the existing hints, which covers every
field flowing through the primitives. Pin explicit autocomplete on the
change-password dialog so genuine credentials still autofill, and add the
ignore hints to the export passphrase and the few new-password admin
config fields that opt in directly.
A long IPv6 in the login overview forced the table to scroll sideways and
the full address was awkward to lift out. Cap the cell, ellipsize the
address, and make it a button that copies the full value to the clipboard
with a transient checkmark and a toast — keyboard-activatable, with an
accessible label. The empty case stays plain text.
The admin system snapshot hardcoded "ipwho.is" for the offline-geo-off
state, so an operator who points IP_GEO_LOOKUP_URL at another provider
still read the wrong host. Resolve the actual provider host from the env
and surface it through /api/version, so the snapshot reads
"Online (ip-api.com)" — the host it really queries.
The network operator (carrier) used to resolve only from the optional
offline GeoLite2-ASN database. On a host without it the carrier stayed
empty even though the location resolved fine online.
Mine the operator from the same online provider response the location
lookup already fetches — ip-api's top-level `isp`/`org`/`as`, ipwho.is's
nested `connection.{isp, org, asn}` — so the carrier is populated out of the
box. The offline ASN database stays authoritative when configured.
A single `lookupIpGeo` now returns location + ASN + carrier in one pass;
the audit write and the backfill both go through it. The backfill also
revisits rows that already had a location but no carrier, so the column
fills in across existing history, not just for new sign-ins.
In the admin sign-in overview the carrier moves out of a chip stacked
under the login method into its own column, next to the location.
The inbound-documents surface is withdrawn from this release and returns
later with more depth. Park its module key (`inboundDocuments`) in a new
`CODE_DISABLED_MODULE_KEYS` list so it is hard-off for every account ahead
of both the operator-availability and the per-user opt-in layer.
The gate short-circuits a code-disabled key to disabled, so the resolved
module map reports it off everywhere: the nav entry stays born-gated and
hidden, the `/documents` page redirects, and every `/api/documents/inbound/*`
route returns the 403 module-disabled envelope. The Modules hub and the
operator-availability panel drop the row, and the per-user PATCH surface
refuses to write the key (a clean 422 instead of an inert preference).
The whole implementation stays intact — routes, the inbound-documents view,
the registry entry with its opt-in marker, the validation schemas, and the
migration are all preserved. Re-enabling the module is a one-line removal
from the list once the rebuild lands.
Regenerate the OpenAPI contract: the module-preferences PATCH body no
longer advertises the parked key.
Add isError branches with a retry affordance to the mood, illness, and
vorsorge lists so a failed read no longer renders as "no entries yet"
and invites duplicate re-entry, matching the labs and cycle pattern.
Make the admin backups table reachable on a phone with a card fallback,
name the admin language and timezone selects and the AI raw-data switch
for screen readers, and replace the touch-unreachable title= help on the
glucose clinical panels with a tap-capable info popover.
Route the password-strength label through the AA-tuned semantic tokens,
underline the register login link so it is not distinguished by colour
alone, give the labs load error alert semantics, and explain why the
target editor Save button is disabled with aria-invalid and a live
alert.
The "Require a second factor" policy redirects web users to enrollment but does
not block direct API or native (Bearer) access for an account that has not yet
enrolled — a deliberate lockout-safety choice. Make that explicit: spell it out
in the admin toggle description, add a code comment at the toggle, and add an
operator runbook (docs/ops/mfa-enforcement.md) describing the boundary.
The "safe to drop legacy key" badge hardcoded bg-emerald-600/text-white. Swap it
for the success token (border-success/bg-success/text-success) the rest of the
settings surfaces use, so it tracks the theme.
Wire the previously-unused mfaEnforced flag into a real policy. An admin can
require a second factor instance-wide (an AppSettings toggle in the General
section) or per user (a toggle in user management); the effective requirement is
the OR of the two. When required and the account has no active factor — no
confirmed TOTP, no registered security key, and no primary passkey — the user is
walled behind a forced-enrollment interstitial after sign-in, with only the
security settings and sign-out reachable until a factor is enrolled.
The gate is surfaced like the onboarding gate: a hint cookie the proxy reads
without a DB round-trip, recomputed from the database on every sign-in and on
/api/auth/me so a tampered cookie self-corrects. Nobody is locked out — the
enrollment surface stays reachable, and toggling the policy off (or the
disable-mfa CLI) is the operator's recovery path.
Drop the in-app bug-report surface end to end: the user submission page,
the feedback intake and admin inbox, the optional GitHub-issue
escalation, the operator config, and the dedicated achievement badges.
- delete the /bugreport page and the bugreport / feedback / admin-feedback API routes
- drop the Feedback model, its enums, and the AppSettings GitHub-issue and enable columns (migration 0205)
- remove the admin Feedback section, the Bug Report integration card, and the system-status row
- drop the bug-report nav entry and the app-settings provider that only carried its flag
- remove the bug-hunter achievement badges and their metric
- prune the related i18n keys across every locale and the encrypted-column and key-rotation registries
Add a read-only admin Encryption section that surfaces what the rotation
tooling computes: per encrypted-column rows-per-key-id, legacy-key row
counts, and overall rotation progress, plus a 'safe to drop the legacy
key' state once every column sits on the active key. GET
/api/admin/encryption/status drives it and returns only key ids and
counts — never key material. A shared scan over the canonical encrypted-
column registry backs both this view and the rotation run. Cookie-only
admin.
Standardise the labs marker subtitle to text-xs across both the compact list
and the card grid, and build the localized name->slug lookup map once per
locale instead of re-scanning the catalog seeds per group on every render.
Add relative to the mobile section strips in the settings and admin shells so
the active chip's offsetLeft is measured from the strip, giving an exact
horizontal scroll target.
Drop the orphaned insights.sleep.headlineCaption and headlineCaptionSuffix
keys from all six locales; nothing references them after the sleep headline
removal.
The desktop section nav in both shells used a single sticky wrapper at
top-20. Because the nav can run taller than the scroll viewport and the
top offset assumed a topbar that sits outside the scroll region, the
panel drifted with the content and re-pinned abruptly on scroll-up.
Cap the wrapper height to the viewport and let it scroll independently
(top-6, max-h-[calc(100dvh-5.5rem)], overflow-y-auto, no-scrollbar) so
the nav stays pinned. Covers every /settings/* and /admin/* page through
the shared shells.
Add a discreet 'Deprecated' badge and a short note ('will be removed in
a future version') to the bug-report settings entry. The functionality
stays intact; this only signals the upcoming removal across all locales.
Render the danger-zone section on the shared SettingsCard surface
(bg-card + border-border) instead of the destructive-tinted card edge.
A red card surface reads as alarming rather than premium; the danger
signal now lives only in the destructive delete button and its typed
confirmation dialog, with the AlertTriangle header icon still flagging
intent.
One-shot prettier pass so the new format:check gate starts from a clean
baseline. Formatting only — no behaviour change. Generator-owned and
vendored artifacts stay untouched via .prettierignore.
The settings and admin shells reserved the page-heading height in the left
nav with a hidden replica block. The replica wrapped differently in the 220px
nav column than the real heading in the wide content column, so the first nav
item sat too low and drifted across locales.
Hoist the heading into the shell and place it in its own grid row spanning only
the content column: row 1 holds the heading, row 2 holds the nav and the cards.
The nav's first item and the first card now start the same grid row, so they
align by construction regardless of how the title or subtitle wraps. Drop the
spacer component.
Introduce a shared SettingsSectionFrame (the settings twin of the admin
renderer's SectionFrame) that emits the canonical visible heading +
subheading, and route all 19 settings sections through it. Every settings
page now shows a real h1 + subtitle in the reference Übersicht style
instead of an invisible sr-only title; the section bodies drop their own
headings and off-style intro paragraphs (the explanatory copy folds into
the frame subtitle).
- Route the admin About page through SectionFrame so it carries the same
visible heading as every other admin section.
- Rename the AI settings section from KI-Auswertung to KI-Anbieter across
six locales: the page configures the provider and key, not an analysis.
- Add a heading-block spacer to the settings and admin sidebars so the
first menu item lines up with the top of the first card.
- Remove the always-on core-domains card from Module: a tracking area that
can't be turned off doesn't need listing.
- Move the proactive-coach control out of Benachrichtigungen into Coach.
- Move admin module availability out of the Coach section into its own
page: it gates every module, not just the coach.
- Give the Layout Insights editor a proper Insights heading.
Adds settings.sections.<slug>.subtitle and the new admin keys across all
six locales; removes the now-unused module core-domain strings.
- Drop the leading blurb paragraph from the Channels + Integrations
connection panels so each body starts at its first card (D0 alignment).
- Correct three stale CORE/always-on comments: medications has been a
fail-open toggleable module since D3; CORE is now weight/BP/pulse only.
- Remove the dead variant/isSubtab branch from SourcesSection — no callers
after the D4 split; render the standalone header unconditionally.
- Render the admin AI-quality card frame + header once and branch only the
body across loading/error/empty/data, matching the coach-feedback card.
- Rename the Coach activation card's section id from the legacy
settings-ai-* namespace to settings-coach-activate-* after the S5 move.
- Gate the medication low-stock reminder card on the medications module so
it hides when the account turns medications off, mirroring mood/coach.
The global data wipe auto-supplied confirm:'DELETE ALL' from a single-click
dialog, leaving the server's typed-token defence dead and making the most
destructive action a weaker gate than the less-destructive restore. Mirror
RestoreRowDialog: require typing 'DELETE ALL' into an Input that arms the
destructive button, reset on close.
Also attach an Idempotency-Key header to the wipe so a double-submit cannot
re-run the transaction, add the documented post-requireAdmin()
'admin-data-delete:<userId>' rate-limit bucket alongside the anonymous IP
throttle, and switch BackupsSection off the non-reactive formatDateTime
onto the locale-reactive useFormatters() hook its siblings use.
The Danger Zone rendered a lone icon above a left-floating label with
the delete button dropped below, unlike every other admin section. Adopt
the shared SettingsCardHeader shape — icon, title, description, and the
destructive action in the status slot — so the structure matches the
rest of the console while the tint and warning icon keep it flagged as
destructive.
The snapshot-count badge now leads (numbers first) and the explainer
plus docs link move into the card header's description slot, which
carries proper spacing and left-aligns under the title. Previously the
description sat in a separate paragraph crammed directly beneath the
"Backup now" button.
The ai-quality, assistant, and coach-feedback admin sections were three
separate navigation entries for one coherent coach-quality concern. Fold
them into a single "Coach" section that stacks the assistant surface
toggles, the server-key + module-availability operator config, and both
feedback-quality tables (Coach + Insights). Drop the three old slugs and
their section copy; add admin.section.coach.* across all six locales.
Add an operator-side toggle matrix to the admin assistant section that
flips each toggleable module on or off server-wide via PATCH
/api/admin/settings/module-availability. Mirrors the assistant-flags
matrix: one neutral toggle per module, optimistic flip with a revert on
failure, and an authMe invalidation so the resolved module map re-gates
the session immediately. New admin.modules.* labels across all six
locales; core domains never appear.
The VAPID regenerate overwrite guard used a native window.confirm for a
subscription-invalidating destructive action, where the rest of the
release uses the project's AlertDialog. Drive the overwrite confirm
through an AlertDialog (calm in-app dialog, destructive action variant)
and retry with force from its action.
The /labs header subtitle used truncate, clipping mid-word in longer
locales on a 375px viewport. Drop truncate so it wraps; the add button
stays shrink-0 and the row aligns to the top.
Add a server-side VAPID keypair generator so a self-hoster no longer has
to run a shell command to enable Web Push. A new admin-only route
(POST /api/admin/settings/web-push-vapid/generate) calls web-push's
generateVAPIDKeys(), stores the private key encrypted at rest, seeds a
placeholder mailto: subject the operator can edit, and returns only the
public key. The route is cookie-only via requireAdmin(); a Bearer token
cannot reach it. The private key is never returned and never logged — the
audit detail carries a marker only.
The admin Web Push VAPID card gains a Generate keys button that fills the
public key and subject fields on success. When a keypair already exists
the route refuses with 409 and the card confirms before retrying with
force, warning that regenerating invalidates existing browser
subscriptions.
Surface the webhook + email cards on the notifications settings page, and
add an operator-wide delivery-health view the per-self diagnostic could
not give. A single groupBy(channel, result) over the trailing 24h of
push_attempts lets the operator answer "are anyone's pushes failing?"
across all users without DB shell, and a count of auto-disabled channels
(enabled=false with an automated disabledReason) flags a flapping upstream
that silently disabled a channel after five failures. The aggregate is
anonymous — it counts channel x result, never names a user. Admin-only by
construction (cookie auth, never Bearer); the window is clamped 1..168h.
The panel rides the existing admin Reminders section.
The dashboard snapshot fires the moment login succeeds instead of
waiting for the page chunk (start ~670 to ~200 ms throttled). Guided
follow-ups are personalised from the user's snapshot and an answer gets
the coach's streamed reaction before the next question. Archived
schedule eras can be corrected through a superseding revision that
keeps the original as an audit trail, era writes serialise per
medication, and duplicate dose times collapse in validation. A rolling
medication whose next dose is tomorrow can no longer read as heavily
overdue — the card status derives strictly from the served next-due —
and the adherence bars keep a fixed geometry in every state. The
server-wide assistant key gains its admin card, the one duplicated
coach preference collapses onto a single owner, twenty-seven admin and
settings card headers move onto the shared pattern with sixty
containers normalised, and the remaining hydration warnings are gone.
The self-context adopt runs read-modify-write inside one transaction,
the admin shell renders nothing until the role is confirmed, and the
json-body helper merges Headers instances correctly. The compose image
reference accepts a pinned digest through an env var, and a promote
script resolves the published digest, verifies its signature and hands
the operator the exact pinning call — the documented path away from a
moving latest tag.
The client bundle carries only the active locale — resolved on the
server and handed to the provider with no hydration flash, halving the
dashboard route to under a megabyte parsed (288 KiB gzip). The auth
shell renders the app chrome immediately instead of a spinner while the
session resolves in parallel, the widgets request folds into the
snapshot it duplicated, and insight pills prefetch their sub-pages —
a first visit to a sub-page lands in about ninety milliseconds instead
of nearly a second.
A night with coarse apple-health samples next to granular watch data
showed only awake and asleep — the per-session source pick now prefers
the source that knows its stages. Tour popovers clamp into the
viewport, wrap their footer and fall back to a bottom sheet on narrow
screens. Settings and admin sections share one alignment rule — icon
column left, everything else flush on the content column — with neutral
header icons, no duplicated section titles under the shell heading, and
every select on the account-style idiom with a visible chevron. The
dashboard's customize icon matches insights, the target-settings link
leaves the home charts, and the mood heatmap adopts the damped fills
the other mood charts already use.
The route-level loading state now renders the same structured tile and
chart silhouettes the page uses, so the first paint no longer flashes a
grid of bare cards before the skeletons arrive. The chart reveal cap
drops to 1.2 seconds, the QR library loads only when an invite is
minted, and list filtering moves onto a shared pill-rail filter bar —
active filters read as removable chips, date ranges live in a popover,
and the measurements and mood lists speak it first.
Icons inside buttons drop their manual margins in favour of the
button's built-in gap (two hundred call sites), form field stacks settle
on one spacing step, card titles on exactly two sizes, inline field
errors on one text size, and a dozen hand-rolled loading pulses move
onto the shared skeleton primitive while keeping their silhouettes. The
intake dialog wording joins the rest of the app on 'übersprungen', and
the UI guidelines now document the two deliberate footer and
touch-target systems.
Invites move into their own admin section with a real ledger: status
badges, expiry, uses, a redemption history of who joined when (new
redemption table, revocation is now soft so history survives), and an
honest one-time link/QR moment. The assistant self-context grows
structured fields for conditions, allergies and focus — encrypted like
the free text — merges age and gender from the profile into one fenced
prompt block, and asks up to three targeted follow-up questions that
surface as tappable chips above the coach composer. A fourth nudge
trigger gently suggests a check-up when the self-context is stale and
the coach is actually in use.
Users can now tell the assistant about themselves in an encrypted
free-text profile that feeds the coach and briefing prompts as clearly
fenced context, with the coach allowed one targeted follow-up question
when the picture is incomplete. Operators on closed registrations can
mint expiring invite links with a QR code from the admin area; a valid
invite opens registration exactly as many times as it allows and records
who redeemed it. A nightly pass watches three deterministic signals —
low adherence, blood pressure above its target band, a falling recovery
trend — and sends at most one coach nudge per week through the existing
notification channels, gated behind the same opt-outs as every other
assistant surface.
The score ring's bloom was clipped by the SVG's own viewport — the
drop-shadow sits on a child of the viewBox-filling arc — so the glow
never extended past the circle; the SVG now overflows visibly on every
host. The insight pill strip gains chevron buttons and wheel scrolling
so an overflowing row is reachable with a mouse. Safari favourites
rendered the transparent icon on a white plate; a flattened
apple-touch-icon and a maskable manifest icon fix both. The
time-of-day mood chart adopts the damped fill the weekday chart already
uses, eighteen delete confirmations move onto the destructive button
variant (one of them had the wrong text colour), five confirmation
dialogs gain pending states, the sources dialog stacks its primary
action on top on mobile, and the token form aligns input and button
heights.
Blood-pressure fixtures in the in-target integration suite were copied
from live readings; they are now synthetic with the same in/out split so
every assertion holds. Hard-coded operator hostnames move behind env vars
(DEPLOY_LOGS_URL, HEALTHLOG_PROD_URL), the codex client identifies via
the public repository URL, the OpenAPI servers entry points at a neutral
example host, and remaining workflow, docs and comment references to the
operator's instance or working notes are generalised. The compose
whitelist also gains DEPLOY_WEBHOOK_SECRET, which was missing and made
the deploy webhook unusable on compose installs.
Add a dedicated version tile to the admin overview showing the running
version, short build SHA, and build timestamp, alongside a best-effort
'update available' hint computed against the latest GitHub release tag. The
hint reuses the existing /api/version/check-updates proxy (server-side
safeFetch past the CSP) so no new route or OpenAPI schema is introduced; the
check is day-stale and never blocks the render. Cookie-admin only by virtue of
the admin layout.
