The health score day, the intraday curve, a medication with its
composition and custom category, an intake row and the cycle's own
symptoms had fields and defaults no slice test met, added since the
floor was set; the backup-validation score had drifted to 40.2 % under
its 41 % floor. It is 54.1 % with these cases, and the floor follows
to 53 %.
The whole-payload tests meet a slice's refinements only by accident. Each
pattern, bound and two-ended free-text rule now has the value just inside
and just outside it, with the issue it raises: the day keys, a long day's
time away, the Coach's table and trail caps, a life event's title and a
symptom's label, a profile fact's readable value and validity. The backup
validation mutation score goes from 25.5 to 41.6 %; the floor follows.
The element schemas move out of validations/backup.ts into one
<domain>-backup-schema.ts per domain, beside its export and restore, with
the shared primitives in backup-schema-kit.ts. validations/backup.ts now
composes the slices into backupPayloadSchema in the same key order, with
the same defaults and the checks that span sections, so the parsed
payload, every validation message and the OpenAPI contract are unchanged.
The lazy-schema guard now covers the slices too: a slice is reached only
through the payload schema or another slice, never from a domain's export
or restore. The external-id guard carries the payload's exemption to its
slices, and mutation testing scores the slices with the payload schema.
Stryker runs against encryption at rest, medication compliance, the rollups,
source ranking, unit conversion and backup validation, with the unit tests
that live next to them (vitest.mutation.config.mts). It is too slow for a
pull request and runs nightly and on demand (.github/workflows/mutation.yml).
scripts/mutation-floors.mjs reads the JSON report and fails when a module
scores below its floor in stryker.floors.json, so one well-tested module
cannot hide a weak one. The floors sit two points below the first measured
scores: crypto 46.9 %, compliance 66.8 %, rollups 41.7 %, source ranking
57.0 %, units 87.4 %, backup validation 25.5 %.
@stryker-mutator/vitest-runner 10.0.0 predates Vitest 5, which names a test
"describe > test" where the runner still built "describe test". Every test
inside a describe block was filtered out of the mutant runs, so nearly every
mutant survived (5.5 % across the set). A pnpm patch builds the name the way
Vitest 5 does; the Docker dependency stage copies the patches directory,
which the frozen install needs.
