From bcbfd87ae956d5fd3821b6f2cf89b276fe8741bf Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?Marc-Andr=C3=A9=20Bombeck?= Date: Sat, 3 Oct 2026 21:24:28 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] feat(coach): name the person's own symptoms in the illness block The Coach illness block now carries the last 14 days of the person's own symptoms (name sanitised for the prompt, count, highest intensity, last occurrence; at most ten, most frequent first), and exists when there are symptoms but no episode. The prompt describes the field in English and German. The MCP get_illness_recovery result leaves it out in this release. --- .../illness-snapshot-body-site.test.ts | 7 +- .../illness-snapshot-symptoms.test.ts | 110 ++++++++++++++++++ .../coach/__tests__/snapshot-budget.test.ts | 1 + .../__tests__/snapshot-new-metrics.test.ts | 1 + src/lib/ai/coach/__tests__/snapshot.test.ts | 1 + src/lib/ai/coach/illness-snapshot.ts | 87 +++++++++++++- src/lib/ai/coach/system-prompt.ts | 13 ++- src/lib/mcp/tools.ts | 12 +- 8 files changed, 225 insertions(+), 7 deletions(-) create mode 100644 src/lib/ai/coach/__tests__/illness-snapshot-symptoms.test.ts diff --git a/src/lib/ai/coach/__tests__/illness-snapshot-body-site.test.ts b/src/lib/ai/coach/__tests__/illness-snapshot-body-site.test.ts index 0dbf491d5..bb1358826 100644 --- a/src/lib/ai/coach/__tests__/illness-snapshot-body-site.test.ts +++ b/src/lib/ai/coach/__tests__/illness-snapshot-body-site.test.ts @@ -17,7 +17,12 @@ process.env.ENCRYPTION_KEY ??= "0123456789abcdef0123456789abcdef0123456789abcdef0123456789abcdef"; const findMany = vi.hoisted(() => vi.fn()); -vi.mock("@/lib/db", () => ({ prisma: { illnessEpisode: { findMany } } })); +vi.mock("@/lib/db", () => ({ + prisma: { + illnessEpisode: { findMany }, + symptomEvent: { groupBy: async () => [] }, + }, +})); vi.mock("@/lib/illness/gate", () => ({ isIllnessEnabled: vi.fn(async () => true), })); diff --git a/src/lib/ai/coach/__tests__/illness-snapshot-symptoms.test.ts b/src/lib/ai/coach/__tests__/illness-snapshot-symptoms.test.ts new file mode 100644 index 000000000..fdbfc6339 --- /dev/null +++ b/src/lib/ai/coach/__tests__/illness-snapshot-symptoms.test.ts @@ -0,0 +1,110 @@ +/** + * v1.40 — the Coach illness block names the person's own symptoms of the last + * two weeks: their words (sanitised), how often, how strong at worst, and when + * last.
