From 214337784422bcd1bd8516932b533a6792a555a8 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?Marc-Andr=C3=A9=20Bombeck?= Date: Sun, 10 May 2026 19:22:38 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] feat(coach): system prompt instructs model to use day-level data The previous Coach prompt only said "ground every number in the SNAPSHOT" without telling the model that the snapshot now carries a timeline.recent block of day-level rows with weekday labels. Without that pointer the model kept defaulting to aggregate-only phrasing on day-specific questions. Add a DAY-LEVEL READINGS section to both EN and DE prompts: - explain the timeline.recent / timeline.weekly shape - tell the model to answer day-specific or weekday-specific questions out of timeline.recent and to cite the actual reading with date + weekday - when no row exists for the day named, say so plainly and offer the closest available day rather than the aggregate - older weekday questions fall back to timeline.weekly - the scope.sources field is the conversation's source-allowlist; a question about a non-listed metric should be acknowledged as out-of-scope rather than answered from the aggregate Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) --- src/lib/ai/coach/system-prompt.ts | 42 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 1 file changed, 42 insertions(+) diff --git a/src/lib/ai/coach/system-prompt.ts b/src/lib/ai/coach/system-prompt.ts index ab5e4afff..0229880d1 100644 --- a/src/lib/ai/coach/system-prompt.ts +++ b/src/lib/ai/coach/system-prompt.ts @@ -49,6 +49,26 @@ GROUND RULES — ZERO HALLUCINATIONS 4.
